1st movie: not really 2nd movie: Lugia 3rd movie: not really again. It was the little girl with Entei 4th movie: Celebi 5th movie: Latias 6th movie: Max bonded with Jirachi 7th movie: not really again. That one kid I guess befriended the 2nd Deoxys. 8th movie: He befriended Lucario, but every legendary was trying to kill them. 9th movie: May with Manaphy 10th movie: I wouldn't say he befriended Darkrai, it was more just honor-bound to protect the city. 11th movie: both Shaymin and Giratina 12th movie: I'd Say he got on Arceus' good side. And that's as far as I'm willing to go with this.
There’s another connection to Celebi you could make, one spanning back well before the advent of Johto. Remember the GS Ball? Well, it was planned that the ball would be unsealed and release a Celebi that would travel with Ash and friends, but that arc got canned when the creators decided to feature Celebi as the star of the fourth movie. Consider the Meloetta arc a proxy for that uncompromised promise.

IDK about that. They did only show Tobias' first two Pokémon,after all. And the balance on Ash's team here is poor enough that all Tobias would need to add is two types, and he could potentially sweep them entirely.

You can argue they have chance, but sweeping Ash's champion teams is out of option if Darkrai is really his strongest
You still could've put Diance for rock because Ash and her still had a great bond (which I personally think was better than Diance and Bonnie) but I still like Ogerpon.

And after leaving the base, she’d give ash a Charcadet egg as a token of her gratitude. Eri-She may be big and scary, but has a more gentle side. She’d be the one who’ll fall for ash, due to his kind hearted nature and sympathy Carmine-I’d totally see how the teal mask arc would go. She’d be a total B-word towards ash, but after the encounter with Ogerpon, she’d see ash showing love and kindness towards the ogre. I believe she’d secretly fall in love with ash after seeing Ash’s love for Pokemon, but it’d also be funny to see her try to hide it with her usual personality. And maybe at the end of the Kieran arc, she would express her gratitude to Ash for getting through to her brother, which would be very heartwarming to see. What are your opinions? Let me know
I feel like most people would ship Ash and Nemona since they’re both champions and Nemona considers the player character to be their greatest treasure.

Urshifu single strike, solgeleo, Melmetal, Koraidon, Ogerpon, and Mewtwo. I feel like if anyone were to tame Mewtwo, it would be Ash since they both want to become stronger. Plus now everyone has some kind of gimmick. Urshifu has a gmax form, solgeleo has a special z move, Ogerpon has Tera form, and Mewtwo can mega evolve.
Mewtwo, Urshifu, Zekrom, Latias, Lugia, and Entei. Other good options are Arceus, Meloetta, Genesect, Marshadow, Zekrom, Tapu Koko, Giratina, and Victini. Oh and Sogaleo too sorry.

We got short backstories with Tyson & Virgil (AKA, the guy who should've beaten Ash in the Ventress Conference) & Alain got His own miniseries & got character development before meeting Ash, so in a way it made sense for Alain to barely win. If Tobias had His miniseries around 5-10 episodes, people might've changed their opinions of Him. I don't know if you agree with that, but it could've worked.

YES! I waited all through the Pokémon Master mini series just waiting for Ash to catch the Eon duo, and then he didn’t. I’m still sour about that. Also, I LOVE Ogrepon as an Ash mon. I can definitely see him using her as his grass type, and her changing mask types could help mash come up with some creative battle strategies
I'm working my way through the Johto saga of the anime right now and if an episode was made where Ash caught Suicune I would have screamed 🤯!! P.S. I would love to see a tier list ranking of the movies here, similar to what you did with the rivals, gym battles, etc.
They're different categories so they shouldn't count Mythicals don't even come in a group, get the boxart treatment, and are mostly locked behind events. Whereas ultra beasts are just aliens

Amazing! I love the legendary choices. That team would’ve make ash unstoppable! 👍🤩🤟 eat that Tobias! I would also add mewtwo as a second psychic legendary option, since ash encountered one twice. In the first movie, mewtwo returns, and the genesect movie. To be honest, ash should’ve gotten those Legendaries you mentioned before the team. But the anime just loves to sike us out.
I most certainly agree with Ash having Solgaleo (Legendary), Melmetal (Mythical) and Naganadel (Ultra Beast) as part of his legendary team, I really do hope that you can make an updated version of new teams for Ash's companions in every region.

Am I the only who actually likes the Hoopa movie? It was awesome seeing so many legendaries on screen at once, and it even made Hoopa my favorite Mythical.
The best legendaries, Mythicals, & Ultra Beasts that fit Ash the most from different regions in my opinion are: 1. Mewtwo 2. Lugia & Ho-oh 3. Latias & Latios 4. Zekrom & Keldeo 5. Volcanion 6. Solgaleo, Naganadel, Melmetal, Buzzwole, Stakataka & Zeraora 7. Zacian 8. Koraidon
For Ghost Type I could give Ash either Hoopa (like the movie or not, they still bonded as much as Ash bonded with Victini in his movie) or Marshadow. For Fighting I have to give Ash Kubfu, it just fits him the best personality-wise. Funnily enough, for Fire I would give Ash Ho-Oh, the connection I hope is obvious. Also, with this Ash would have both Ho-Oh and Lugia. Seeing how well they bonded in the movie, I would give Ash Keldeo as a Water Type. After seeing the movie, Zarude doesn't fit Ash at all. Darkrai would be a better Dark Type for Ash. As for Flying, Lugia fits him the best. It is an easy pick.
I could def see Marshadow being part of Ash's team...I wish it got more screentime in the anime outside of I choose you, like zeraora did in that 1 2 parter episode But as cool as it is to see Ash catch a legendary, I personally think him winning against Tobias in a hypothetical rematch without any would be immensely more satisfying - Tobias NEEDS the legendary status as a crutch, while Ash does not and got there on his own
Lugia deserves to be in this list some how. While Ho-oh is the first one to be seen Lugia has a much longer and many more interactions with Ash. Ash is also Lugia’s claimed chosen one. If you wanted to add Ho-oh you should have given him the fire spot not the flying one as outside the gen 7 ones and Latias there’s no legendary more closely tied to ash then Lugia.
Personally, Urshifu makes just as much, if more sense for a fighting type legendary for Ash It loves to fight, and cos of its pre-evolution, it's not insanely busted right away so Ash could train it up. Plus imagine if he had one in Journeys. It would be good perfection is overrated.
Yeah he caught Buzzwole, Pheromosa, and Stakataka, but he almost immediately sent them back to their world at the end of the episode. While I think Buzzwole would sort of blend in well with Melmetal and Incineroar, I feel like Pheromosa would be a fun Pokémon for ash to get because it’s so fast which ash works well with. Plus I feel like her contrasting personality would be funny to watch clash with the more goofy alola team.
Speaking about Tobias, the semi finals of Sinnoh league... It still hurts. Edit: I am not even sure which one is hurting more losing against Alain or Tobias. I actually don't know. Both of them are just heartbreaking for me. The other leagues I don't really care them much.
If/when you make it to the Ogerpon stuff in your Scarlet/Violet series? Don't cave to peer pressure and have Ash give her to Kieran or something like that. I know you have a chance to do Kieran, but good... but... no. People fixate on Kieran, but don't think of Ogerpon, who wanted to go with the player. She had no interest in Kieran. And nothing changed over the course of the DLC for Ogerpon. Kieran didn't even want to see her anymore when they reunited at Blueberry Academy. I know you COULD change things up over time, but... no, please. Bust Ash's Paldea lineup to high-heaven. Pikachu, Palafin, Lokix, Ogerpon, Koraidon, and whomever else.

Why does it seem so fitting that the Alola League champion has half of his legendaries team made up with Alolan Pokemon?

Amazing! I love the legendary choices. That team would’ve make ash unstoppable! 👍🤩🤟 eat that Tobias! I would also add mewtwo as a second psychic legendary option, since ash encountered one twice. In the first movie, mewtwo returns, and the genesect movie. To be honest, ash should’ve gotten those Legendaries you mentioned before the team. But the anime just loves to sike us out.

I most certainly agree with Ash having Solgaleo (Legendary), Melmetal (Mythical) and Naganadel (Ultra Beast) as part of his legendary team, I really do hope that you can make an updated version of new teams for Ash's companions in every region.
You should really be more consistent with your scarlet & violet series by uploading videos of it more often, and you should do a Pokémon movies ranking videos because of how much you talked about them in this video.

Him taking Alain's place seems the most logical. Cos you can't get rid of the other 7 as they're all regional champions. They SHOULD be some of the strongest trainers in the world
I'm surprised you didn't put Victini on the final team, since I've def seen Victini on some team's for Ultimate Trainer Ash. But tbh all the picks in this video made entire sense, even the side notes. And TBH it makes me mad that between BW and Journeys we had missed potential OUT THE EARS

The best legendaries, Mythicals, & Ultra Beasts that fit Ash the most from different regions in my opinion are:
1. Mewtwo
2. Lugia & Ho-oh
3. Latias & Latios
4. Zekrom & Keldeo
5. Volcanion
6. Solgaleo, Naganadel, Melmetal, Buzzwole, Stakataka & Zeraora
7. Zacian
8. Koraidon
I would’ve swapped Suicune with Lugia

For Ghost Type I could give Ash either Hoopa (like the movie or not, they still bonded as much as Ash bonded with Victini in his movie) or Marshadow.
For Fighting I have to give Ash Kubfu, it just fits him the best personality-wise.
Funnily enough, for Fire I would give Ash Ho-Oh, the connection I hope is obvious. Also, with this Ash would have both Ho-Oh and Lugia.
Seeing how well they bonded in the movie, I would give Ash Keldeo as a Water Type.
After seeing the movie, Zarude doesn't fit Ash at all. Darkrai would be a better Dark Type for Ash.
As for Flying, Lugia fits him the best. It is an easy pick.

I could def see Marshadow being part of Ash's team...I wish it got more screentime in the anime outside of I choose you, like zeraora did in that 1 2 parter episode
But as cool as it is to see Ash catch a legendary, I personally think him winning against Tobias in a hypothetical rematch without any would be immensely more satisfying - Tobias NEEDS the legendary status as a crutch, while Ash does not and got there on his own

Lugia deserves to be in this list some how. While Ho-oh is the first one to be seen Lugia has a much longer and many more interactions with Ash. Ash is also Lugia’s claimed chosen one. If you wanted to add Ho-oh you should have given him the fire spot not the flying one as outside the gen 7 ones and Latias there’s no legendary more closely tied to ash then Lugia.
Personally, Urshifu makes just as much, if more sense for a fighting type legendary for Ash
It loves to fight, and cos of its pre-evolution, it's not insanely busted right away so Ash could train it up.
Plus imagine if he had one in Journeys. It would be good perfection is overrated.
Didn’t Ash catch the bug type ultrabeasts
Yeah he caught Buzzwole, Pheromosa, and Stakataka, but he almost immediately sent them back to their world at the end of the episode. While I think Buzzwole would sort of blend in well with Melmetal and Incineroar, I feel like Pheromosa would be a fun Pokémon for ash to get because it’s so fast which ash works well with. Plus I feel like her contrasting personality would be funny to watch clash with the more goofy alola team.

If/when you make it to the Ogerpon stuff in your Scarlet/Violet series? Don't cave to peer pressure and have Ash give her to Kieran or something like that. I know you have a chance to do Kieran, but good... but... no. People fixate on Kieran, but don't think of Ogerpon, who wanted to go with the player. She had no interest in Kieran. And nothing changed over the course of the DLC for Ogerpon. Kieran didn't even want to see her anymore when they reunited at Blueberry Academy.
I know you COULD change things up over time, but... no, please. Bust Ash's Paldea lineup to high-heaven. Pikachu, Palafin, Lokix, Ogerpon, Koraidon, and whomever else.
