Definitely Stevie there at 5:33. You have put me on to this band. Had no idea of their existence until watching your reaction to "Hit Me". This band is phenomenal! The lead singer Jonah Nilsson is out of this world. Amazing.
Another genuine reaction! Thanks for sharing it. For what it's worth, you're not alone in your over-the-top appreciation of the musical prowess and creativity of Dirty Loops. These guys represent a quantum leap in the evolution of contemporary music.
Loved, loved your honest reaction, -heartfelt, soulful and intelligent. It was a pleasure to listen to the Dirty Loops again through your ears and heart.
A brilliant thing about that choir? It's just Jonah. All of it. Henrik said this about it, in an interview in Bassmagazine. “Then at the last minute, Aron wrote the gospel choir parts. He sent a very funny demo in which he marked where all the different gospel parts come in and what kind of voice they had. When Jonah recorded them, he had a chalkboard with all the different characters in the choir, and he distorted his voice to match each character and so none of them would sound like him.” They are so funny! 😁
Your heartfelt, genuine reaction just put a smile on my face. Thank you so much for sharing. Another lesser played, wonderful Loops song is one of their earlier ones called *"Wake Me Up".* It is another journey that starts out beautiful and mellow and somehow-with nary a hick-up transitions...ahhhh, hopefully you'll react to it and we can all see how it transitions together. Good health and happiness to you.
We tried to warn you of the epicness lol! Glad you enjoyed it. Definitely has that gospel feel to it. Only thing missing was a tambourine. And a collection plate lol!
Your face when you are enjoying music is so great! More dirty loops please! maybe "Rock You" or "Thriller cover", I discovered them through YOUR CHANNEL here, so lets keep going down this rabbit hole. I'm having fun.
Discovered your Loops reactions and they are an utter delight. Your comments are right on and your positive energy level is wonderful. One thing you'll discover about Dirty Loops is their joy in playing always shines through. This is yet another aspect that makes their music so special...it always leaves you in a better place than when you started and inevitably with a smile on your face and in your heart. Please continue with Loops reactions. Proceed with utter confidence as there are no bad videos out there. As far as I can tell "Rings of Saturn" and "Turbo" are the only songs without singing and those are both collaborative efforts with Cory Wong.
Yes sir, you were warned. Your reaction is awesome. Jonah is insane with his vocal prowess, Hendrik on bass is a beast, and Aron tears the house down with his drumming. Try Rock you, Breakdown, Sayonara love. Can’t go wrong!
Great reaction! I am a fairly new Dirty Loops fan, and I'm not sure which I enjoyed more - This amazing performance or your huge grin and enthusiasm watching it!
Yeiiiii Thank u for the reaction. 👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻❤️I simply cannot get enough of the Dirty Loops 😍 🔥🎸🎸🎹🥁. Please do «Work Shit Out», «Breakdown» and «World On Fire». Btw… did you say MJ & Stevie Wonder vibes??… don’t miss their cover of «Thriller» and «FollowThe Light» 🔥🔥🔥😉❤️
You really need to hear this band play with Cory Wong on Follow the Light or if you want to hear Jonah get his jazz version of Michael Jackson check out his version of Thriller along with Cory Wong. These guys are just as amazing of musicians as Jonah is a singer AND I have had the honor and privilege of seeing them pull it off live as well and they are just as good
I've come to the conclusion that trying to explain my feelings when it comes to Dirty Loops is that there just ARE NO WORDS! They blow right past "genius" into another dimension of musicality! It's gotten to the point where I have to have a generous dose of Dirty Loops just to make it through my day. What a glorious addiction.
Hey! I just watched this video again and saw how Dirty Loops blew your house of the block, it did mine too and does so every single time I listen to any of their songs…and it was such a great reaction that I wonder if you please also could listen to DL’s “Breakdown”, another showcase of Jonah’s insane vocal skills and of the band’s musicality? I sincerely think you would appreciate the experience, bro 🔥 Other great ones are from their collaboration with Cory Wong, such as their MJ cover of “Thriller”, “Follow the Light” and more. Then there is Jonah’s solo cover of “Bad”, another mad showcase of his creativity and skill… enjoy 😊
"What is this epicness!?" describes everything about these guys! Subscribed. Just in case you didn't realize, Jonah is the singer & the "pianist." Also, just a helpful service message: If you are singing along to this in the car, it's very easy to get swept away into keeping up with the choir & forget you are STEERING THE CAR. As the tempo increases & the key ascends, do not keep increasing your speed. Also other drivers tend to mistake any "ascending to glory" hand & arm gestures for something less glorious & more commonly used. Proceed with caution. Ask me how I know. 😉
@@tparmenter Lol! Glad I'm not the only one! Whenever I hear this song I have to force myself to not move my arms in real life, since I'm imagining that I'm happily gallivanting & singing along with Jonah, Henrik, & Aron in a field, like some music video from the 80s. 😂
They were simply too good and had too much going for the Pop success Verve wanted...and now, you know. David Foster likely knew it but they are so good, he just had to try. He made a musical decision - something he doesn't do too much these days. I'd recommend more but literally anything you find from them will blow your mind. Reactions to Dirty Loops won't get you a million views but sometimes, you gotta just do things for music's sake and I'm encouraged to see you making musical decisions rather than populist ones.
Great reaction. However, your video is backwards, making them all left handed and therefore a little disturbing. I'd like to watch another reaction video of yours, s😢o please make sure the video is not reversed. I love your genuine excitement listening to these fabulous musicians. FIY, EVERY voice in the choir is Jonah Nilsson, the lead singer.
Their Thriller cover is insane

Their humour is a wonderfully unique part of their musical experience. They are truly lovable Mozarts of the modern era.

Babyyyyyy the way I was SHOUTING by the end of the song!!! The band and the vocals took me there!!
We are all here for the DL ride!!!

Man just feels good every time I hear it! They are so amazing
Chile when the song went faster my mind tripped at how the lead singer Jonah Nilsson kept up!
Don't forget Jonahs solo stuff for more epicness 😁 Diamond Ring, Coffee Break and Bad are good places to start 🤯
Glad you choose this one, keep going, love the reaction
My dude!!!! I should've told you about them from the jump! They are no joke!
They are fantastic!!!!
recommend "Breakdown" as the next. Different tone...a ballad... and a singing showcase
Dude I Am So Amazed By Them !!! And His Voice Is Definitely Stevie Wonder & Michael Jackson Mixed Like Idk That’s Crazy
The choir you hear Is his background vocals
Another great song to react to would be Breakdown which is a ballad by Dirty Loops which has some great singing in it.
The lead singer is Jonah Nilsson
