I haven't had a full on crush on someone within the past two years (I've been single since July 2020) excluding women I've met through dating apps that I didn't become serious with. I still feel attracted to lots of ladies I've met, but there's a difference between being in love and being in lust.
Perhaps you should find a way to finally admit and communicate your feelings to this person! But make sure there is a difference between them just fully accepting you and making you feel comfortable (vs how your other friends make you feel and if you deserve to be treated that way) and them FIRST! If you do realise that you deserve to be treated better by friends, deal with that first and if you still feel the same way, go for it. If you just know you are in love, you gotta be honest and if your relationship is truly strong, you have to have faith that either way, toy won't lose them. And I'd you love this person without condition and want them to be happy with or without you, then when you go to talk to them- do it with seriousness and confidence. It's okay to be nervous and feel a million things, but confidence is key and telling them straight from the heart, no back pedaling our of insecurity or in trying to make them eaaoly have a way out of a straight answer..just straight truth and confidence. That is the kind of thing that makes a person's heart drop from intensity in the best way possible when they feel the same. If you _know_ in your heart that it's a friend zone kind of thing like without a doubt...the of course you don't have to do it. But if you truly don't know and couldn't say one way or the other that they've thought about it or definitely haven't thought about it- then you should absolutely go for it!
