I am sorry +robo13 but you should have checked the range as well. No one would need such a system to use it at 3 feet distance... This would be useful between two rooms or where you cannot make the HDMI cable pass trough ...
Thanks for explaining this transmitter/receiver. I was a little bummed that you still need power to the transmitter plugged into the source device (in my case, my laptop). I was hoping for something to easily set up a second monitor, but i guess HDMI only transmits audio and video data, and not power? Is there the possibility of a future product that wouldn't need the power supply to the transmitter? I don't know much about HDMI technology.
Radio transmitters def always will take power. Odd comment as laptops usually have some USB ports, so it's convenient to power. Currently these sets prob use USB C connector for power.
did you keep using it? what are your reviews after using it for some time? does it die after some days? how durable is it? and do you recommend it for regular use for long ?
The movies you play on this it have to be storage on your phone or computer? Or you can stream the videos from the internet too? Pleas help me, thank you
Dang, found one for $50 local IF ONLY had HDMI passthrough. I need to grab powerpoint so even if it was high lag wouldn't matter. I'm at back of room/hall with camera and a laptop to capture feed, presenter's laptop on lectern. It's so sad to point at camera at a projector screen, cringe every time I see that. Cheap transmitter w/ passthrough would be great.
Are you satisfied with the product? I want to use it with a Wacom Cintiq 13hd. Do you think it will do the job? My living room is 10 meters away from my office, will it cover the distance ? Thanks in advance.
hows the movie quality? and gaming quality? I heard there's a tremendous drop on quality in the movies and gaming quality and experience but hands down to latency
I'm good with my Nexus player. I use Moonlight to play my game without latency. If I want to watch movies.I just use my chrome cast that's build into it.
Quick question. I run a streaming group for my church. We have a dedicated room for our base but we're a bit far from the sanctuary. We run HDSDI cables that are more than 75ft. If I were to use one of these, would the signal be strong enough to cross through several sheet rock walls? I'm thinking 2 walls, and have the camera free of cables...
Hmm I don't know if this would work well through that many walls. The signal would probably be too weak to transmit any data. I am not 100% sure though.
VivaLaRobo My signal has been getting unstable in the last year. The devices are less than 10ft apart. I’ve only has this thing for less than 3 years. Anyway to fix the problem. I paid $200 for this.
Just got mine in the mail today. I thought I could run HDMI into a monitor and then run the Nyrius out, to daisy chain the signal. Unfortunately I am not getting a signal. Do you know if this is possible? I don't see why it wouldn't be but I am stumped at this point.
Hi Robo 13, great review, am thinking to buy this one for our offices, to stream wirelessly presentations from pc to the tv, what i am wondering is: does this system allows to have two screens detected? what i mean is, does it allows the pc to pick the kind of visualiztion you want? (duplicate screen, Extend these displays show desktop 1, show desktop 2), especially i am interested in the duplicate screen feature, that for sure from what i have seen on your review, it can be done, and in the extension of the screen, which feature is not clear form your review. it would be nice for example to show on the tv a presentation form the PC, but using the pc screen for other applications.
Can I use this to mirror/sync two Samsung smart TV's? I want to operate one TV and have it come up on both at the same time. The TV's are about 14 feet apart. I do not have a source other than Wifi. I only use the TV's to watch you-tube videos.
What about sound?????? I wanted to play a movie wirelessly and wanted to know if the sound sync? Not like a old school kung fu movie were the words have to catch up to there lips.
If you are sending the audio over HDMI there will be no desync, if you have the audio going through a different output then there will be a noticeable desync.
I am looking for a Ypbpr to HDMI or Ypbpr wireless but no luck besides suing 2 adapters. I want to mod my Original Xbox Wireless HDMI from the Ypbpr's and stereo's points on the motherboard
Why can't the just make a wireless receiver that plugs into you TV's HDMI port that receives a signal from your pc. a bit like how a wireless keyboard works then there would be no need for any cables or I am just being simple.
Yes, you're being too simple actually. Because, the keyboard transmits bluetooth and this is hdmi. This requires a lot more power and the tv's hdmi port itself won't be able to output enough to power this device.
No. HDMI ports on laptops are usually only output. You can test this easily by plugging in your PS4 to your Macbook with an HDMI cable. Does it show on your screen? I'm betting it doesn't.
Let us know if this works with a cable box, please as I'm really interested in having one. I need to watch cable TV on another set but with no internet and neither a second cable box. If this works, I'll definitively buy it! :) - Vince
Well just when you thought 50ft cables, an coming up with creative ways to hide it we’re over. I saw the price and ordered a 50ft cable + wire covers.☹️😭
anything but competetive gaming. I play RPG on it and it works amazing. I didnt wana buy a bigger screen since i have a tv in the living room. Used this to connect to my PC and viola, I now have a 60" gaming screen. Also my room is below my living room, so my wireless controller works just fine.
Hi, I was very interrested in this video, however, since I am not 100% IN ENGLISH i COULD UNDERSTAND ONLY 50% of the very fast and not clear spoken words. Therefore I switched it off
Martin Rieger sir. How is that his problem? It’s like me complaining about a German product review because I can’t speak German. If this is the only review available, 5en it is your responsibility to pause it or play as many times as needed. He did a great job explaining the product.
wtf its the point of this. You have to use an hdmi to plug it into the box to the tv. Then a power cable to power it. THen plug anotherthing that is sending the signal. Great video, stupid product
You seems to know nothing about this industry. I need this to send wireless signal from a portable camera to our video switcher. Could you image walking with a long ass cable in a middle of a bunch of people ?
I assume it's used to transmit from your motherboard located in another room. The limitation on distance is stupid. I mean who lives in an 30ft house. If it's just 30 ft, why not just move it around. LOL.
You mean you can't move the laptop 30 ft to connect to your tv? WTF, your laptop must be a heavy SOB. If it's the keyboard and mouse issue, why not spend 30 dollars on a keyboard & mouse wireless set?
hey how did it work for you? because thats what im looking into...ima director and i want to send the signal from my sony a6500 to my field monitor to pull focus wirelessly
so many wires for wireless stuff
This looks better than an HDMI cable! Thanks for the review, I move to a new apartment and can't place my PC near the TV, really need this.

Why can’t it be more “wireless” like Airtame? I love the 0 latency tho

Can't wait until a cheaper version comes out but only with time
what is the maximum distance? does it work between 2 rooms with closed door? thx for this excellent video
I'm good with my Nexus player. I use Moonlight to play my game without latency. If I want to watch movies.I just use my chrome cast that's build into it.
What about through walls? Does it still work when the devices are like 15ft apart but separated by a standard home drywall?

robo13 can i use it to transmit the signal of my camera for my intensity shuttle video capture?
VivaLaRobo
My signal has been getting unstable in the last year. The devices are less than 10ft apart. I’ve only has this thing for less than 3 years. Anyway to fix the problem. I paid $200 for this.
do you always have to have the transmitter cabled to the USB power cable? Or, once charged you can move around with the laptop?
What kind of distance were you able to get on it?
It puts the sound on the TV right???
Have you ever tested using a video camera with HDMI output
Just got mine in the mail today. I thought I could run HDMI into a monitor and then run the Nyrius out, to daisy chain the signal. Unfortunately I am not getting a signal. Do you know if this is possible? I don't see why it wouldn't be but I am stumped at this point.
WHICH do you suggest if I want to use a TV as a 2nd monitor?
Does this work send from a usb-c out with an adapter

Did you ever get to test this out? We have similar requirements in our office and would like a wireless solution
This acts just like a regular HDMI, so you can have 2 separate screens.
This acts just like a regular HDMI, so you can have 2 separate screens.
robo13 Thanks for your help,. I'll be pitching this to the boss! :)
What about a beamer ? You don't have power over USB on it.
I am wondering if I have 2 nyrius aries prime receivers can they connect and show the same video on multiple screens via 1 transmitter?
Nice definitely in my to buy list after seeing how it works!
have you tried a ps4 or xbox

not sure if this was asked before, but were you able to test the range of the receiver? like try it from a different room etc etc.
According to amazon specs it reads: Powerful 30ft digital signal eliminates the hassle of installing messy cables. Hope this helps :)
Hi, have you found any other good wireless hdmi's with no lag since this video in 2014?
Bro will it work with blackmagic atem switcher?
Does the unit connect to the Wifi or does my computer that is connected with a cable transmit the data?
Wait !,can thus directly be connected to the PlayStation 4 or is a TV required ?
Can you power the part you put in to a PC with a portable charger I want it for live streaming my cam and my capture card
I am looking for a Ypbpr to HDMI or Ypbpr wireless but no luck besides suing 2 adapters. I want to mod my Original Xbox Wireless HDMI from the Ypbpr's and stereo's points on the motherboard
@robo13
Can you check if it works with a DSLR ?
To link Camera to a TV wireless-ly ?
Please check it if possible ! Thanks !
yes i think it does work omg ive been thinking a way to stream it you just solved my problem!
can i get a hdmi splitter to connect two tvs wirelessly?
Soo.. with this "wireless" setup you need to connect more cables than on wired connection...
Would having the source (a sky tv box) in a cupboard through a door at the opposite end of the room from the TV effect signal ?
It would be even more Awesome if it worked with my Sony A7rII camera for video out.
Wish u would have walked around to see how far you could go.
Where is your intro music? Please tell me you didn't nix it.
I still have it, I just forgot it in this video! :D
Is it 2.0 or 1.4....?
Thank you

sorry im new to wireless stuff ,does this transmit sound also or just picture?
Both
Aside from a laptop or computer, will this work with an HD Cable Box as well?
It should work with anything that uses HDMI
Great! Thanks for the video bro.
Let us know if this works with a cable box, please as I'm really interested in having one. I need to watch cable TV on another set but with no internet and neither a second cable box. If this works, I'll definitively buy it! :) - Vince
Eurovision Euphoria! it works via any hdmi plug....
Would you be able to use a standard cable(xfinity) remote to control the 2nd tv? Or would you have to use the original remote on the source box?
Does it support HDMI-CEC?
wat's the cheapest wireless hdmi, laptop to tv package to buy?
+Tito Nogueira A wired one! ;)
Jess Vagnar you meanie you x'D agreed haha
Tito Nogueira
Hahahaha, yeah, I found a few just now for $120, I just don't think they're really worth it right now.
Can you use more then one? Say one for DVD to T.V then one to Media Player to T.V or you can only use one at a time?
i think u can buy hdmi splitter and use all of them in one, i dont see why i cant do this
will it work with oculus dk2?
do you live in Falcons Pointe?
Well just when you thought 50ft cables, an coming up with creative ways to hide it we’re over. I saw the price and ordered a 50ft cable + wire covers.☹️😭
can you use that device for a DSLR or camcorder with live video going into a production switch
yes
is it ideal for gaming ?
you might get lag :/ you wont get the fastest response. especially on fps games . it wont work too well
anything but competetive gaming. I play RPG on it and it works amazing. I didnt wana buy a bigger screen since i have a tv in the living room. Used this to connect to my PC and viola, I now have a 60" gaming screen. Also my room is below my living room, so my wireless controller works just fine.
Can i use it with a video camera that has hdmi
Ade Femi yes
Where can I buy this device?
I cannot change channels, any solutions?
Can you pop it in a dslr
Keep up the good work.
Q: i know you will say thats a stupid Question but does it need Internet connection ?
Ahmed Hadi no it didn't use wifi, the box transmits its own unique signal for streaming the hdmi
This is kinda stupid as my all in one pc has not hdmi port and i was thinking something like this would solve that.
0 lag? How is that possible? Even light has a speed limit.
I don’t know what to reply to that
You do have beautiful eyes.
Nothing weird here, just an observation… I'm probably gonna go now.
Look 1080p one I have it's crap hd gigabyte skyvision WS100 I think I will buy this looks good clearly hd great. Video.
its cool but for the money ill rather buy a long kable.
Nyrius Aries is crappy
Nyrius Pro is overpriced to close being $500.00 & range is bad.
Both CAN NOT do 4K.
It sucks! Too much distortion in signal . Cable always the best.
