Best Big Buck hunting advice that I have ever watched all in a single video.

Oh come on... cell camera footage gets reviewed too... it's actually easier cause I don't have to sit down for an hour and sort through a packed card, they come in as they come in and I sort and file them appropriately!

I can't imagine the idiot landowners who have bought into this gentleman's claims to using "the scientific method" to analyze their property and kill deer. Reducing something as important as the scientific method to the act of covering the countryside with trail cameras and calling that effort the "observation" process in order to answer the "hypothesis" that deer are going to use certain trails has to be a joke.

Firstly, he said pseudo scientific. Secondly, Scientific method: a way of discovering knowledge based on making falsifiable predictions (hypotheses), testing them, and developing theories based on collected data. Sounds like that is what he was doing. Hypothesis: You are not a very successful public land archery Big Buck hunter.

Yeah, it's good marketing more than anything.
Thinking about how you analyze a property and a specific deer with the idea of hypothesis testing and making predictions about how they use a property is a helpful frame. Every time you hunt a stand or hang a trail cam you are making a prediction that a deer you want to kill will walk by.
This is what I would call "folk science". It's not real science, it's never going to be peer reviewed and published but it uses concepts from the scientific method to systematically make better decisions at the level of normal people.
