Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Hunting with a flint lock is like Hunting with a long bow, getting close.
At what point in the video does the bear attack happen? So boring.
15 mins before even talking about guest. Come on.
First time listening to the meat eater pod after seeing a clip of Steve talk about this guy with Joe. I’m a huge fan now thank you Steve and guest!
Love to see New Hampshire get some love!
Moose eat more snails by mistake cause their diet. Thats why they seem to be more affected.. moose spend more time near wet areas same as snails
My mallot was maple
Any antlered species is going to hold their antlers for 300 minimum days per year. That includes the growth through spring till it sheds
Its an o la carreta del rorro
First podcast on the future of duckhunting and have to leave for work and still nothing about duck hunting 20 minutes in.
So glad Steve told this story on Rogan
i love that the script is in the screen when Janis is saying "and you're not reading from a script right?". great work Phil the Engineer
Phil why not play way of the hunter for the video game thing
Awesome show PLEASE do another with this gentleman !!! Stories are amazing
I don't work Fridays. So this has become my weekly coffee and morning show routine.
Too many people….ugh
Rule number one of an outdoorsman: carry a knife at all times.
Let me tell you something, Lil Ol'son. 1st of all, not showing the girls and keeping their privacy is 1st class. I respect that so much. 2nd, having both father and daughter viewpoints of hunting can help so many people understand the benefits, challenges, and fun of hunting. All my favorite memories are of my Dad and I hunting, fishing, and camping. And I have learned more about hunting, hunting Squirrels than hunting anything else. Best Podcast Ever 👏 👍👍
Not sure what I enjoyed more, Listening to Ed's stories about butterflies and roller pigeon hijinks or watching Corine geek out over said stories 😁
The only two shotgun shells I've ever seen that stuck to the color coding were 16 and 20. I own 12,20 and a 410 currently and seen every color under the sun for 12. Blue, Black, Red, Green, Pink and clear. I have 410 that are red, green and black. They really should put stricter guidelines in place.
There was a picture of a barbecue. Kangaroo in the australian fire stuck in a fence lol with a mushroom growing out it's claw life goes on 😢
As a mid west hunter who doesn’t hunt out west or sheep anywhere, I don’t have a horse in this race but i feel this gentleman has a weak argument. Basically said people against governor are just jealous and can’t side with people that are doing better then themselfs I don’t think that’s it. Just call it what it is and say it’s about the money.
10:25 or teaching someone how to properly pronounce “run them pockets“
Why, why would you advertise this?? We already have enough idiots in ALL of the other areas….now you’re inviting them there!
Really don’t care about sheep. Only trophy hunters with lots of money do
Howdy Steve, I think that you have been bamboozled by your guest. To answer my own question. Here are some facts: 2014/15 Mission funding =$4.378M with Bighorn Sheep population 75k Canada + USA. 2019/20 Mission funding =$6.247M with Bighorn Sheep population 68k Canada + USA. 2022/23 Mission funding =$7.538M with Bighorn Sheep population 62k Canada + USA. I understand that the facts are not cause and effect but the correlation co-efficient does not support his argument. I can see why Mr Thornton only talks about money raised but not sheep numbers.
Does Steve & Brody even enjoy trivia or are they just contractually obligated to do so many episodes?
I’m a frequent visitor to Jackfish bay on Basswood Lake every summer. I’ve seen maybe 5 deer along the shoreline in 15 years because it’s so thick. Have always thought about trying a deer hunt up there. I have a 14’ Alumacraft that I take up there so it would make it easier. Might just have to try it out.
You like mountain lions in your back yard? Let hunter manage the wildlife. You like fishing, if they get hunters they will come for you next. You want to pay for wildlife management, or you want hunters to pay for it . . . You have to message people in a way they can relate
Wyatt Flores Is the best thing in music right now....Cheers!
Ken Burns is a total hack…
We are mostly here because of Steve but why the hell he there if he obviously would rather not be? Everyone else is trying to make it fun. The last question should have been "yes or no, Steve is being a bag of dicks"
Another argument to be made is a lot of hunters are first generation hunters and 10th generation hunters, knowledge of landscape and form … etc they have a clear unequivocal advantage over other hunters ,
1st time father valid question,
I track wounded deer as a hobby well say. 99 percent of the hunters i track for, their story changes 100 percent of the time the longer the track goes on.
Yes on the Bob white I was thinking the same thing as others.
I dont think anyone would dispute the revenue argument. Most of us realize that some of us can buy thnkgs that we cant. It starts to become an issue when these purchasss grant special treatment to the tag holder. Other have to abide by the rules and regulations surrounding these hunts, while these "special" tag holders can basically do whatever they want. If you want to buy what the rest of us cant, thats fine. They should still have to play by the same rules.
Inviting a non-hunting wildlife agent at MeatEater to talk about his job is like having your wife's boyfriend for dinner and talk about your next work trip.
I kiss your hand, but please post my comment so people can see it. I swear our days and nights pass and we do not own anything. Where are the merciful hearts? Our situation is tight, and our situation is tight. By God, I did not write these words except from the tightness and harshness of circumstances. Oh people, your hearts have become devoid of mercy, compassion, or humanity. How much I complained and cried, how much I called and how much I pleaded, but there is no life for those you call upon. Would it please you that my brothers are crying and dying of hunger and you are here? God knows. We don't even own a kilo of flour. My father is dead and my brothers are young. We have no one. I swear to God that they went to bed hungry yesterday, crying from the pain and suffering. Oh good people, are you satisfied that we have been without food since yesterday? Oh brothers in Jesus, oh doers of good, I swear on the Holy Book that I will not lie to you, nor will I defraud or cheat. I am a displaced Yemeni girl, my family and I. The rent for our house is 20 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 60 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of the people who have no mercy. I swear, my brother, that he comes every day to humiliate us and talk about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street. Because we couldn’t pay him the rent and he wouldn’t leave until after we cried and came back and talked to the This is my WhatsApp number: 00967779509554. Whoever neighbors and gave us until the end of the week and if we didn’t pay he would throw us out into the street without mercy and we are displaced from our country because of this war and we can’t find our daily sustenance and we live with my mother and my young brothers and my father passed away may God have mercy on him and we don’t have anyone in this world to stand by us in these harsh circumstances and I don’t have older brothers to stand with us in this and stand with us in these circumstances my brothers are young but I am a girl and I can’t work I swear that my brothers went out into the street and saw and saw the neighbors eating so they stopped and stopped at their door to give them even a loaf of bread to satisfy their hunger and I swear that we don’t have anything and our situation is very difficult they looked at us with an eye of mercy and threw them out and came back crying and dying of hunger and by God we don’t find a morsel of food and now if one of us doesn’t help us with a kilo of flour I swear to God we will die of hunger oh brother I am a On the Lord Jesus, then on you, and I want help from you for the sake of God. I ask you by God, you love goodness and help me, even if you ask for my card name and send it and do not delay. The Lord will give you many times what you have given us. My brother, you are a man. If you see your family hungry, it is impossible for you to provide them with the most, but my daughter is perceptive and my hand is short. I do not have a father like you, and my brothers are young. See how they are and help us and save us before they throw us out into the street and we are humiliated or die of hunger. Let the Lord be a truthful and faithful witness between us. I am not lying to you with a letter in this message, and I did not ask you except from distress and the harshness of the circumstances and the situation that we are in. My family and I ask you by Jesus Christ, if you have the ability, O people of goodness, whoever has the ability to help us, do not delay for a moment. can help us, message me on WhatsApp and we will send him the name. May Allah reward you as much as he can..<.<.<.<.<.<.>..>>..>.>.>.>.>.>..>.>.>.>.>.>..>.>.>.>.>.>..|^¶.........!..!..................<.<.<..<.<..<.<....🎉🎉😢.<.<.<<......

Whichever one of you said Google doesn't spy on your phone is full of shit. Google itself admitted its employees were listening in on people's conversations through their phone microphones and accessing video through their phones camera lens. Both Google and Apple spy on you and collect data for the government and in order to send ads of what you were talking about. I can't even begin to count the number of times I have been talking about something, and when I opened my browser, there was an ad for that exact thing that I was talking about.
Beautiful.
Just bought your book man. It's the current assault from the admin we are having that is so concerning to me.
Sounds to me like, plan a kick ass canoe trip and purchase a "just in case tag"
Nilgai sweatshirt? Strong
How put off would Steve be if you guys made one of those boxes with him talking into a mic, but make it a wax figure? I think that would be an interesting addition to the meat eater store
They would never produce those special tags if they weren't getting a lot of money. So it's only for rich people.
Started to use the canoe for Blacktail hunting in BC this year. Interested to see how it goes for the both of us.
My Quaker grandparents were born 1895 and 1900, my dad in the 20’s. On their Indiana farm they always had a dog. That dog watched over their children and livestock. If they didn’t, they were shot and replaced with one that would. My dad had hunting dogs rabbit and bird dogs. And my father inherited the culling behavior his parents practiced. I have had a lot of dogs until the 90’s, lifestyle changes mostly influenced me to stop having any dogs. I’m now retired, thinking of having a dog again, but I’ve noticed a moral shift about dog medical care and euthanasia. A sister spent $10,000 on a pit bull that was injured playing with other dogs in its household. My neighbors and family share stories about conversations with their Vetsthat makes me think, is this morality shift caused by Vets creating profit centers and practices sold in the emotional state of guilt creating a new moral standard for owning a dog? A moral standard that I don’t want to be exposed to.
