BhajanNama | Episode2 | Akhtari Jan & Mrs. Freany M. Cama sing Hindu Bhajans

In the second episode of BhajanNama, we showcase some more jewels from Gramophone archives of Gunijankhana. Akhtari Jan, not Akhtari Fyzabadi, sings one Aryasamaji Bhajan and a Bhajan sung in the Ramlila of northern part of India.
We also showcase a very rare gramophone label- Nirmal Phone which recorded two Bhajans by a Parsi singer Mrs. Freany M. Cama.
The world of Gramophone made music and its genres more inclusive. Hindu Bhajans sung by non-Hindus underline the rich and vivid tradition of Indian culture.
