Said this for so long. Sad how many people flame him when he feeds a bit, but most of the time he's just trying to make some big brain play.

Ofc u can argue that mikyx is better.
But their playstyle is so different, that you cannot really compare them.
I personally would always take miky for the league and hyli for the tournament

@@riseagainstthemachine6079 I personally wouldnt choose based on this. Mikyx is a more conservative support with high af mechanics but he is more reserved personality wise, so he needs some 1 to guide him and plan with. He is also very stable.
Meanwhile Hyli is a bit behind on mechanics but his game knowledge AND intitution is great. He is basically living in his opponents mind, constantly bullying them, eating away they concentration and pulling out an insane fucking play which can either doom his team or pull b the game from a 10k deficit.
So i think these 2 are the best support on the whole west, depending on who is the adc/team next to them. Cuz while this video is indeed insane, at 2019 the best support was Mikyx with Perkz (commonly known as the best botlane in the world in that yr). And now the Hyli Upset duo looks rly fucking good.
But for sure i agree that the league wont be the same when Hyli retires. The last bastion of the insanely creative, enjoyable, risk it all bully mentality, otherwise Known as the UOL legacy. Im still getting emotional when i remember the Vizicsacsi - Hyli duo running it down just so they can pull it back with some fucking insane play.

I know it sounds weird but i would even more compare hyli and perkz then hyli and myki. I think the greatest thing about and hyli and perkz is, that they are just really confident driving forces for their teams, that just take over when they know it matters

@@sentoo7606 JKL was playing at his worst and had the worst support at Worlds on his team and still hardclapped them in 2 games in lane and was far more useful than Rekkles in 1 more game. People have twisted and turned it as if JKL got shitstomped but the reality was that Rekkles and Hyli at their very best was just every so slightly better than JKL at his worst international performance ever with a completely dogshit support at his side 3/5 times in lane and 2/5 times throughout the entire game. It's not particularly impressive. Rekkles also got gapped by Drooler when Selfmade wasn't in his lane 5 times in 10 min.

You have every right to. My favorite player ever by far, shame he gets so much flack from KDA players, his deaths are often good for the team. Hope he never stops playing.

The video could be like 20 mins long if people could appreciate how he knocks up 4 players on a Team fight every time he plays Alistar, every week on stage. How he played Rell at Worlds... People expect crazy highlights with crazy kills, from a support... The dude's GOD with every single engage he makes. That's his job and what's his best at, but not so great to see unless you are supp. People prefer Vayne montages

I really hope that the ppl understands that he is dying a lot bc he is trying to do this awesome plays all the time, it takes a lot of guts to pull a lot of his plays in pro play he deserves so much credit, my man been carrying fnc a long time ago behind the shadows and his not so good kda
he dies a lot, and for different reasons, most of the time the reasoning is good. Like dying early game, to delay backs is a good play (preferable if you don't die, but delaying backs early game is a real hit to a team's tempo, while you yourself don't take any hit, since respawning early game is about as long as backing + buying). I remember watching a dom LEC live view, where he was talking about how even when hyli is "inting", he still comes out ahead in tempo (gets to move first). People just don't think about what's actually going on, they just see hyli dying, and call him an inter, while hyli gets every little advantage he can
He is dying a lot cause no follow up , i mean playing with passive rekkless for years , just think a lane when he playing some korean aggressive adc , they would tower dive enemy lvl2 and getting 2 kills

Man when rekkless left fnc and joined g2 we really get to see who was the real MVP of the fnc bot lane. It wasnt rekkless I dont think it ever was. Now I'm not even sure how good upset is just because of this guy.
But man I miss rekkless hylissang bot ;-; the amount of trust they had I each other... he made rekkless look like an aggressive player.
Hyli was perfect for Rekkles! I think it was a big mistake for Rekkles to leave him. You could argue they have been the best botlane on worlds. Thats crazy! Imagine them playing again for another year.
The thing you see right now with Rekkles, where he feels kinda lost. His confidence in his own mechanics are basiaclly none exsistend.
Hyli is a unique player. He is extremely high risk in that he can be caught and killed but also extremely high reward because when he isnt caught he utterly demolishes the enemy team

@@saintofthechurchofautism8433 why not world?? inting is an issue but its not like he isn't inting ryt now either.. it's just that his team follows his instincts more now than before.. rekkles was clearly not fit with hylli nd hylli would have won worlds already if he were in an aggressive lck or lpl team.. think of it once.. and yep unless you play support you are just another spectator who wont understand his creativity and would rate a consistent support player without much playmaking potential above him...
@@vickyvg7032 Hylissang is up there but Ming exists, the lpl support that played in RNG alongside Uzi and now alongside GALA, 3 time lpl champion, 2 time MSI champion, Worlds semifinalist. Also with how strong the botlanes on both the rosters that he won MSI with, with different ADC's, is indicative of how good Ming is as a support. This also draws parallels and similarities to Hylissang though who has played with Rekless and now Upset and both rosters had great bot lanes, they are so similar that upset and hyli r sometimes called uzi and ming of europe. It's just in terms of achievement and success the EU conterpart botlanes have just been an inch behind those of Ming's LPL rosters. UZI and Ming r an inch more legendary than Rekless and Hyli, and in addition, Gala and Ming r an inch more successful currently than Upset and Hyli. Very parallel careers for the both of them and most importantly their careers aren't over so maybe with a worlds win Hyli could very well be the top contender for best support of all time, given the extent of their careers currently though, Ming has just been an inch ahead of Hylissang at all points in his career though both have been just as good domestically.

I remember this summer split when Selfmade said "If hyli is allowed to play his pike you know you did something wrong in draft." Hands down the best pike/rakan in the world. Probably one of the best supports in the world.

Best LEC support. People need to understand that he’s the only one non-conservative support. The only one who make constant plays. Yes, he dies more the the other lec supports. But when he dies his team get at least 3 kills cause of his plays. Respect Hyli.

No wonder Hyli was Upset's main choice as support. He got defeated by Hyli so many times. Must be so encouraging having your biggest feared support become your own support
If everyone is in the same page with him, the team is top tier, if not people will see him as a inter and a coinflip when the truth is that most of hylissang plays are smart and actually end up in a good trade
