I completely agree... except that there are a few beautifully presented curse words in some of her/their music. But on the whole, she is such a role model for everything she stands for. The fact that she is modest and NEVER lip syncs... I absolutely admire all of that about her

I have admired Amy from the very beginning. So much so that I made it a point to bring my daughters, back in 2003 when they were very young, to watch Evanescence as their first-ever concert headliner.

The music where there was no swearing (the early stuff, fallen etc) there was no swearing and she got a piercing and tried to live up to the gothic corseted image. Now she presents more cool and arty, wears sneakers on stage half the time, and uses a few swear words when necessary and adding a casual nature to lyrics that need it.

I'm June from the video, lol. I was barely 18 when this was filmed. I loved Amy and Evanescence so much and still do to this day.

THIS BRINGS ME BACK! I am so grateful this is what I looked to for healthy escape growing up. This music will always be so important to me. I remember recording all these appearances on VHS. So good.
VHS in 2003...it's 2022 and VHS, and even DVD seem both antique... that indicates how everything has been accelerated so much.

Aw I remember seeing this. I think this was actually the first time I saw Evanescence perform live (on TV, I wasn't actually there). Maybe I can be thankful I got to experience a few years of MuchMusic being awesome before Bell took over, ruined everything and blamed it on the internet instead of sad we'll never have that again.

She wasn't really feeling herself that day.....lol one thing after another kept fuckin up and she had a cold so I liked actually seeing her in this situation. Very humanizing

I don’t see what you all see that’s so bad about this session, sounds okay to me, not every setting or concert is perfect anyway, this is raw humanity, that perfect stuff is colored over by today’s technology live stuff don’t sound good in general, they fix alot of flaws in a big live production. Auto tune & so on.
I don't see it either. Mostly all of her live shows she sounds amazing to me :-)
