I'm actually really annoyed with this release. Not because it's another Iron Man, but because if they were going to use this color scheme, why not just give us the Mk20 Python so it's an official diecast House Party Protocol Iron Man? It looks so good and the Python is basically another Mk7 so why didn't they do it? The limited releases are good and they are bringing hype to Hot Toys. But not like this. At this point, don't we have 3 or 4 Mk7 color variants? Should've been a wider release Python. I'm actually worried for that summer announcement. After this I bet they'll release a Mk7 in Starboost colors instead of just giving us a diecast Starboost
I kind of agreed with the whole python thing but then you started yapping, no one's forcing you to buy all these repaints
another thing to consider, they would have to make those beefy legs into diecast - not something they would be willing to do for a house party armor
also, there's absolutely no way you could repaint a mk7 to look like a mk39, that's just a stretch.

Just got mine. Absolutely unbelievable how good this thing looks under the light. Money grab? Sure. At least they gave us something really special. It stands out so well in the display. Highly recommend this figure if you can find one.

Honestly not that bad of a color combo. Wish it was a more original design for Iron Man to use these colors but i get that its better to reuse, still an awesome Hot Toys model.
The Mk20 Python uses these exact colors and is basically the same armor. They should've just given us that instead of a mk7 repaint

When I got mine the only problem I found was how slippery the base was when I put the figure on it. Otherwise it’s a great colour choice on a stock MK7

I would like to point out this is the 3rd time they used this mold for a suit that isn't the mk7, and the 2nd time, they just made something up, and yet they still haven't given us a disaster battle damaged mk7. They wouldn't even need to mold new stuff. they just have the battle damage from the original dicast mk7 and some paint and it would be fine.

The black and gold color scheme comes from the mk 20 called python. Besides the legs and head, its the exact same

I do like this suit, but I wish they would use a different mold for one of these. They used the og dicast mk 3 for a stealth, the mk4 for aholographic, the mk 6 for a neo tech, this one for 3 different ones, the mk46 for a concept suit, the mk50 for doctor strange,and neo tec, and mk85 for a holographic. I would have preferred this look for the mk 42 armor or something, or even the mk85 for a newer mold, or even a comic stealth suit for the new mk 3.
