That's a persuasive argument but the main composition for my solo queue ranked games will still be reyna, jett, phoenix, raze, iso
Neon over phoenix I think
@@filmgamingandreview9137 phoenix op
@filmgamingandreview9137 phoenix busted on haven bc of C site orb farming.
But yeah it won't matter in comp games tbh bc nobody's farming for phoenix ult 😂
In bronze
Optic used to play neon on haven during chamber meta
they also played that weird phoenix double sentinel comp towards the end
times have changed
@@_lumpiai never really got that comp bc its the opposite of the fade breach which is fast paced exploding onto site
the double senti with fade phoenix is more map control and slow paced but i think they shoulda used their haven comp against zeta(skye kayo chamber neon omen)
@@z-t0xx437 iirc, it might just be bc of how fns liked to midround. the comp was good at holding space, so they were able to pull rotations and hit free sites, at least that was the idea. i didn’t rlly like the comp either, but it worked for them
Wasn't there a harbour comp to?from loud
Remember when TMV said that he would oil up if GenG won at Shanghai (real)
Real(real)[real]{real}
this should top prio
Breach used to be solid on this map. I can definitely see a neon breach sova omen kj comp.
Surprised there was no discussion of Omen vs. Astra here because if I recall Astra outperformed omen a lot but I feel that won't be the case anymore.
if u run astra, ur forced to run breach or ur trolling
@@MrHawk88yeah like fnatic
Astra 4 stars baddddd
@@gamist8166 4 stars Astra was still statistically better than Omen on Haven.
@@thesilvanalyst6880 Astra Suck is no longer an ability in today's meta
I totally forgot to consider the fact that they bring back old maps lmao. Havens gonna be dope
haven has been out for so long, i am seeing The Guard in Tier 2 matches
great video!
That’s because Trent was probably the best sova on haven.
I've played gekko multiple of times now on haven and i can say with confidence that dizzy is insanely useful for retakes
There is somehow a change for viper on attack. Useually teams default attack with a wall on A and the orb on front B. That kinda changes things
Not really, because that orb on front B was always difficult to retrieve unless you went B and even then, leaving the orb there is still fine, because you were going to play for spam to some extend anyways and the orb helps prevent the defenders from pushing you.
@@thesilvanalyst6880 Wasn't there also a strat with the Orb coming out of sewers (pop flash) then repositioning it to back site? That will definitely change. I think Haven was a map that repositioning the orb mattered a lot for Attack at least.
Hey TMV! What do you think of running Neon as duelist and replacing KJ with Chamber? Chamber still has the lurk potential on attack and gives op-ing power on defense
im trying to think of a comp that would work with new iso, maybe something like iso, yoru, sova, astra, kj?
i think if you are choosing iso you don’t need breach stun/omen paranoia as much because the wall and vulnerable can serve a similar purpose on this map, but you still need an agent with good movement and flashes
I think you overlooked Gekko for Haven. The map has a lot of good early/ intel gekko flashes- for example, I think you could early flash in A lobby attack side and if you do it right it could blind A main and B main
would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the iso buffs. Seangares says its broken, but i honestly dont think so. Sean gares points were:
- if u hear iso shield activate, defense more likely to stay, pop util, all to break the shield
- against a good player, 50/50's are AT LEAST 60/40. but honestly i think it would be 70/30 in high elo (especially when u shield + ult combo)
by take is that diverting crosshair with movement > needing extra bullet to kill.
odin/ares/spamming through smoke when you hear iso pop shield is a counter that anybody can do, judge kinda works too. but a lot of agents also have agent specific counters to iso, aka any ability that does damage, can stall time, or is a get out of jail free card (jett dash, chamber tp)
the main thing that makes iso not broken imo is that his other abilities are still sub par at best. meanwhile duelists like raze or jett have multiple “broken” abilities paired together, and i heavily agree with your last point; you aren’t going to be killing these agents in one shot and living anyways when they are flying around throwing off your crosshair vs. shooting an iso twice instead of once
Is TMV a Wikings fan or does he just wear it for the vibes?
I play neon and kayo in plat i think i enjoy the difficult fast paced agents. Thinkin Yoru or Breach my 3rd fav. Def thought i play neon on this map
The more I think about it, the more I'm worried that post plant on C will just devolve into another spam post plant now that this idea is engraved into every team
It’s much harder to do that on haven because the choke is so narrow.
@@hastyscorpion I just think that since teams mostly played post plant in long anyway, this is just a natural progression as teams become more degen
Haven C has always been a bit more spam focused, but the difference between Haven C and something like Sunset B is that Haven doesn't offer the attackers a central pillar to play around to spam from both left or right. On Haven, once you know where the attackers are, there is only one place to hold and there is no elevation change either, so it is a lot easier to win that fight for the defenders.
On sunset, Pearl and Abyss, the worst spam Post plants are the ones where the defender has more than 1 angle to hold, even if it comes down to a 1v1 with known locations.
@@thesilvanalyst6880 great explanation!!
I really want to see teams try Viper, Omen, Chamber, Neon, Sova comp. It sounds really powerfull if executed correctly
Is that a north kitsap highschool shirt?? That viking clipart looks just like my highschools logo
I don’t think anyone expected pro teams to try deadlock on haven as a solo sentinel it failed against a kj comp but it looked interesting
iso is now broken, and his wall is pretty good for pushing A long or C
Given that this is a operator map, iso shield + ult = operator holder dead
Yep exactly why I'm playing iso on this map now.
Don't forget he also removes viper from the equation in certain scenarios and even without pushing, a map like this, using the Wall to just threaten to cross to A sewers or scale C is pretty important for this level. I can see a double duelist comp with him lowkey.
he's only op in ranked, in vct we wont see him at all lol
hes not broken lol, if anything though this could be his best map because its really the only map his other util can be consistently good on
i think for a pro team to make it work though they would have to work around the big tradeoff (no movement duelist on a map that is very good for movement duelists, and this is a hard map to play 2 duelists on)
I think that cypher actually has the edge now over killjoy for this map!
The Viper comps counter the standard comp very well so I still think we’ll be seeing a lot of them despite the nerfs
Not necessarily anymore cause of timings and the nerf of Skye def is a factor. Also im fairly certain Haven was one of the sites you wanted to reposition your orb on attack if you were doing the comp optimally. So we'll see.
if anything, i can't wait to see the comp prx comes up with
PRX had a haven perma ban last year though
@@smacaroni9195 ngl i don't watch vct like that i jus know they always have uncommon comps
@@smacaroni9195 they should permaban every map /s
I’m still waiting for a team to use Neon/Breach/Fade on haven
Here me out ik this is a kj map but deadlock is a great pick on this map especially on retakes so I think it will be breach neon deadlock sova or gekko and omen or potentially a harbour depending on the team like fpx or 100t
Nah, the meta is about killjoy holding info about garage and B on defense. Replacing her with deadlock who cannot hold any info without wasting her barrier early would require all 5 lanes on the map to be watched by someone
TGRD comp can just have Gekko replace Skye and still play pretty similarly. That way you still get viper, still get info gathering rechargeable flashes and can keep the remaining picks the same
i think it just depends on if gekko flashes reach far enough to give you real info. also, skye flash was nice because you could throw it deeper to find people trying to hide out of sight somewhere like A, which gekko flash can’t really
comp could prob still work with gekko with some adjustments though like you said
Is TMV lizzo’s “new man on the Minnesota vikings”???
is neon movement going to be that strong in pro play? what if the opponents' tracking is more cracked than we're giving them credit for
We know how good Neon is, even on the pro level from players like Rb, Victor and MiniBoo.
Pros coming from CS or who only played Valorant struggle against the fast movement of Neon, because there is just no other agent that moves that fast, and Neon is an uncommon pick. Players coming from games like Overwatch might be more used to it, but in general, tac shooters tend to be more flicking focused games, than tracking, so pros tend to be better at flicking and worse at tracking fast movements.
@@thesilvanalyst6880 yeah true, miniboo was doing really well this season!
Yoru, Omen, Viper, Fade, KJ should work if people still want a viper and reliable info + flashes
People may change KJ for Cypher because if I recall viper originally was experimented because of KJ to counter her info which Viper does now.
@@funkycrawler619 true either one could work :)
Chamber is also a great pick
I just started to play this game a lot more this year. Before I pay like twice a year because of friends. I have to say, this is the first MAP that I truly hate and hope it will never comeback ever again.
Iso will be an efficient counter to Jett op tho. Pushing an op away won't need ridiculous amount of utils anymore if Iso can just equip his shield and make contact. If an Iso is in the attacking team, defenders can't simply have a solo jett on one site then her teammates stack up the other sites. This heavily impacts the value of having a jett in the team since unlike before where she can solo anchor a site with an op, she has no chance going up against a shielded iso thus she will be pushed back rather easily. So surely, some teams will pick an Iso on Haven to counter the op.
the rest of his kit is bad bc he can’t entry consistently and this map can’t run double duilisit bc you need a sentinel due to the massive lurk potential
I still think Viper will be better than 2 initiators but maybe with a Fade or Gekko instead of Skye cause then you have flashes or prowlers.
bro is non-ironically using smite phantom💀
FPX gna do Iso, Neon, Viper, Harbor, Omen
didnt even comment on harbor
As a breach main, this map coming back, was a day of rejoicing
Fracture too
Haven is finally back!
W Vikings shirt
LETS GOOOO!!!!!
Iso is pretty busted rn ngl 😭😞.
Opping Neon new meta....?
I think they might just use the viper comp and swpping out viper for gekko tbh
So using the viper comp without viper?
I think a no flash Fade Viper comp might be legit
harbours gonna roll
no troll i think chamber has a slim chance on haven again. just a little bit
cypher, gekko, omen, viper, neon
Imagine how excellent would DRX RB be in this coming neon meta. Man he is really unlucky
TH and a I feel like NRG could run Neon (Maybe even SEN cuz Zekken and Zellsis also Neon players) but for others Jett is just wayyyy more comfortable for the players which in the end is what will prevail atleast for now so yeah prb stale boring meta but THIS IS GOOD MAP SO WE DONT CARE!!!!
#FUCKASCENT
Woot
Nice Vikings shirt
aku jagoan neon
bad decision to bring haven back with no changes, I was expecting to see pearl or fracture to make this fresh, and we're still have to watch that boring ascent comp everytime instead of split and breeze
Les go
Hi
BREACH SOVA NEON CHAMBER ASTRA/OMEN
Neon is insanely strong, Chambers best map is Haven as he can still hold the whole of A lobby with a safe TP
Imagine the defense default would be Chamber A short with a trip b, Breach around B ready to stun anywhere on the map, Sova helping Chamber keep the line, Neon on rotate and Astra/Omen on C
Chamber against neon, instead of a cypher/kj😂
@@Precipiceofwind KJ against Neon is quite literally worse than chamber, his slows and ULT atleast slow her down.. a good Neon will run/jump through KJ util before it even damages them
As for Cypher, on any good comp you'll have sova darts for the common trips
Chamber allows Neon to be played because of the reliance on an OP, so chamber quite literally helps Neon if anything as it gives the OP merchants an agent other than Jett
I hate the map
I hate that they made neon buffs
Now every moron in valorant is just running around brain dead throwing games
84 views in 2 minutes you fell off 😔
Why would they try push Iso into the game more. His ability is so basic and brain dead. It’s such trash
