Bougie marshmallow was a big no for me. I actually returned my bottle and I don’t ever do that. I’m sure it was because of the Ambroxan. I should’ve known better, but I went ahead and blindly ordered. Candy rock sugar is my favorite in the line followed by 28. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Love to hear it how others perceive fragrances❤❤
Ignoring the hype i decided to pick up a mini and really like this fragrance ! Its like nostalgia for me of the type of strawberry flavor that comes in neopolitan ice cream. (Definitely not realistic strawberry like youd smell if you had a strawberry in front of you) I don't get much marshmallow to my nose, like i don't smell what marshmallow fluff smells like, but its that kind of strawberry that is used to flavor the straight pink strawberry ice cream, i love it its so pretty. I was a little worried about the orange blossom but am happy to say that i cant smell it Also sparkling lychee is my other fav I do think this fragrance will be super easy to dupe as its very simple so i dont know that ill want to buy a big bottle for something like this however
A body cream already exist. It’s called “Strawberry Snowflakes” by BBW. Get the body mist and body cream and layer with Boujee and you’ll be smelling delicious all day. 💖
I smelled it and it made me think of how my little ponies smelled in the 80s or like my strawberry shortcake doll (in the 80s), so I can see how it smells comforting since it smells like childhood toys. I don't think I would buy it tho. I LOVE Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar. The bubble gum note in it is sooooo good. In general tho, I don't really think Kayali is amazing. I think she does a great job of making something that gets duped cuz the main note gets trendy. Think Yum Pistachio. Pistachio has become super trendy.
Omg update: it makes me think of the My Little Pony Perfume Palace and the matching Perfume Palace pony. Which, honestly, is pretty perfect. And that's when my perfume addiction began lol
I disagree on Mona being a marketing genius. Everything she has released since December 2023 is marketed primarily to tweens and teens...and they frankly don't have the income to purchase these fragrances. They are going to have to beg their parents to buy this, and the price point is not conducive to that. I suppose if you like sicky-sweet fragrances, this--and the others released in the last year--is for you. If you want to smell classy, elegant, and sophisticated, this is NOT going to work for towards that objective.
Totally disagree. The fragrances she has released since Dec 2023 are very diverse. There is something for everyone. I love her marketing strategies. She always keeps the audience excited for the next release. I don’t find most of them sickly sweet either.
I saw a comment "Kendrick Lamar is critically acclaimed but Drake is who you hear in the club." Kayali is tiktok famous, hyped drops. Once the consumer (not PR) reviews start coming in, it becomes clear that the releases are mediocre. I'm personally not a fan of their FOMO marketing (limited restock! jk, permanent!) but from a business standpoint, they are successful $$$. I have 8 Kayalis and most of them are just fine, V28 is a love.

I agree with everything you've said😊 I'm normally into fresh fragrance's but Yum Boujee and Eden Juicy Apple are the only sweet fragrances I own.
I found this scent to come and go too. The vanilla in this reminds me of Devotion without the lemon. This might intensify as it ages.

Its gorgeous! Love it.
Until the body cream comes out, pair it with Brown Sugar Babe Pinkpoundcake body oil. they have the same realistic strawberry base.
Its very very similar to strawberry poundcake from bbw
Great review on this Kayali Marshmallow fragrance. But to be honest, Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper sounds like a scent profile I would like to explore.🤔
SDPP is better :)
I like it, too. It's such a happy, fun, and comforting fragrance. I agree with you about the longevity and projection- needs to be bumped up a bit.
Yeah, I think it’s a great scent, but agree on needing some more intensity.

I was thinking this too its a similar strawberry
