If your profession had to caution you about a population with a certain diagnosis...it is disparaging.

It would be of great help if you get the Proffesor to talk about the dynamicas in a relationship where one of the partners shows strong behaviour and reactions as in BPD patterns, and how to deal with the effect on the own siblings. Thank you.

BPD is also a symptom of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)- organic brain damage caused by mum's drinking alcohol in pregnancy. Other symptoms of FASD include; ASD, ADHD, Learning disabilities and over 400 other co-morbidities. It would be great if you could cover FASD on your channel. There needs to be a public health campaign alerting mothers to the dangers of drinking alcohol when planning a pregnancy and when pregnant.

It's been well established BPD is much correlated with non attuned mother, rather than bad things happening. Unfortunately, psychiatry and psychology doesn't look at evidence, nor do they consider family dynamics..alll they do is :This behaviour is bad, we need to correct it. How can you correct when you don't understand that brain development happens in an environment, especially the relationship between the mother and child, the first few years. We cannot start a conversation without acknowledging it's implications..number two: In order to control behaviours and change them, we need to understand how the brain processes information. It has lass through filters that automated and subconscious processes before reaching the rational brain, which will be able to respond, instead of just react. There's a reason why people abusive relationships don't know how to leave, and shaming them doesn't help. The entire field of psychology and psychiatry is a shit show.

Genetic? 🙄 The genome has been sequenced for a dozen years. Behavioral heritability within families of course appears "genetic".
