What an outstanding video, so much effort has gone into filming each stage of your day and it is really informative and cool to see what you do as part of your job. From pre-inspection of the vehicle at the start of the day to parking up at the end of the day and everything in between. It probably lapses the mind of many TH-cam viewers who watch videos like this about the long hours, early starts and all the things that go into getting these trucks on the road each day. Fantastic work, keep it up!
Hey question bro so I work on a rear loader as a route helper, so I was gonna ask as a driver does it make a difference to put the blade all the way to the hopper to start compacting as pushing the blade back as if you were to leave the blade all the way in the back does the trash compact better or just a preference? I'm so sorry this long p.s🤣
I honestly think it’s a good idea to start with the blade all the way to the hopper and slowly bring it back to the cab as the load body fills up. I just don’t do it because these public litter routes almost never pack out the truck. But if I were in residential, I’d definitely do it

I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the video! Thank you for stopping by, more to come!
Awesome video! Love these POVs!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
10:53 so that's why rear load trucks always have water inside the hopper when there's no rain
Looks like someone torched the tree there and that's some of the water from putting it out. lol
Cans full of water will do the trick lol
Nice
Curious do you guys get a radio (walkie talkie)
Yeah there’s a radio inside the cab actually. Each truck has one
It’s shitty that they didn’t go for the 7.3 power stroke diesel in that f550
Tell me about it, sucks driving these knowing they could have much more power.
How do I get to do what you do? I have always wanted to! :(

What was the 311 complaint?

Just that can
The complaint was that the bin was full and hadn’t been emptied in a few days
@@818Basurero oh ok thanks. Keep up the great work.
