The level of wholesomeness from Ellen when she sees Mike's name on the rear window is painfully sweet. I can't get over how much these guys all support each other.
The fact that the Oxboxtra team supported Mike on his race day is a testament to why I enjoy these channels very much. Their friendship and chemistry just in each video they make.
I love that Mike fully dresses up to play racing games. It’s like if Andy strapped a hundred hip pouches to himself to play Resident Evil

Petition for more Mike Channell sims in games. Playing Papers Please? Bam! There's Mike's passport. A little bit of Stardew Valley for your weekend? There's youtube's Mike Channell fighting hordes of slimes in a cave. Maybe a match of WWE 2k? A greased up Mike will run out and put you in a tombstone piledriver. Seriously though congrats Mike! This is rad

It wouldn't be the same without Gasly to cut a promo on.
At least we can hear how well the motor is running without being drowned out by a promo from Notch-Yo' Man Andy Savage.
This I great, feel so good for Mike that his own car is in a racing game and a fine game at that. You go Mike and good commentary from Luke and Ellen to go with it. The added touch with Mike's actual onboard footage from his race at brands hatch was a masterstroke, well played oxbox and xtra.
Ellen & Luke: "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"
Mike: "If you don't behave, I'm turning this car around!"
Luke: "Isn't that illegal? Probably get a black flag for that."
Ellen: "Ooh! Black Flag. That was a good game."

I think I'm just concerned about the dad energy since I've watched every race in a season since 2009, when I was 16, and I also don't have any kids.

Yes, this is so good! As a car nut myself I'm always here for more racing on these channels :D Also I believe that there is a TH-cam series from Carfection where Mike learns how to become a racing driver. Its pretty inspiring.

so great seeing Mike getting to do some racing and so cool that he got to race in his own car in a game, it was nice of the developers to add his livery. also wonderful commentary from Luke and Ellen, how to get them to do more race commentary
I'm neither a fan of motorsports or racing game genre.
I just enjoy watching Mike having a lot of fun with it.
Mike's love for cars and racing is spreading. I guess its racing game livestream after Dark Souls for Ellen then.
In that case we should toss her right into Dirt Rally 2.0 (aka Car Souls 2.0) and continue Ellen's Souls Academy!

I'm 1 minute in and smiling so much. I don't care about cars or racing, but Mike's joy and enthusiasm is infectious and adorable. Some pure, unbridled joy and glee can never go wrong!
Fun fact: Although electric car are "the future" it is not the solution alone. What we also need is to change the energy base matrix, otherwise we are just transferring the problem from the cars to the power plants needed to supply them. We still need reliable renewable energy sources to replace the current thermoelectric. Not only that, we also need to prepare the eletric network to recieve that amount of demand. :)

I know these racing game videos don't do as well as a lot of your other videos, but as a fellow racing fan I really enjoy them :)
Ellen 6:00 - 6:10 is really spot on. The main driver I support is Kimi Raikkonen but there are several other drivers that I follow in the race like Norris, LeClerc, Russell and Verstappen. And watching the pre and post race reviews and interviews, you do get to know about all of the teams and all of the drivers. Netflix's Drive to Survive series does a good job showing each team's stories and dramas. Haas in particular is interesting.

Here is how to improve F1, have Mike, Luke and Ellen as alternative commentary for races. Mike is your David Coultard serious anaylyst telling people on how to get round the corners and how they should be driving. Luke knows the names of the drivers so he can interview them about the race and Ellen comments on how the cars look and gives them names. Frankly thats a winning idea
This must be one of the most relaxing videos I've watched in a long time. And I'm not even into racing (or racing games/simulators for that matter).
Check out the pumpkin smash at Altamont speedway here in California. It is an enduro race with slick pumpkin on the track. They dress up some of the cars for Halloween.

I love when Mike blows things up in Hitman, but this is brilliant, too! I read a couple articles Mike wrote for Top Gear, maybe sneak some more racing games into the OXfamily.

I love how many people I've heard about getting into F1 because of the Netflix series.
I've been a casual fan all my life because I used to watch it with my dad. I actually have one of the old Ferrari F1 Lego sets and it's one of my most prized possessions. Also the only set from my childhood that didn't get disassembled and made into other things.
I'm so happy for Mike! It's unbelievable! Must be so cool to see your REAL car in a video game.

5:50 side note- has anyone else noted the irony of the Tesla not being in Formula-e like at all? I mean this is the company that wants to change the world over to electric, and says it want's to get into racing, but hasn't gotten into the motorsport that was basically tailor made for them.
personally, I'm not sorry to see they are not in the race, but it's just weird.
also, who else wants to see the Mach-e as the next e-Trophy car? don't get me wrong the I-pace is nice, but it would also be nice to see it go "door to door" with the Mustang.
