So I guess this explains how cons are able to willingly use Megatron in gun mode: he literally forced them to do so to where they become an extension of himself. Also I have a theory: Though lessened, this power that Megatron has is influencing Optimus to become more violent and ruthless than he’d want to be since acquiring the Decepticon leader’s arm. The only reason Prime hasn’t been mentally broken or corrupted like Starscream is most likely the Matrix protecting him
