Carin' at the liquor store - The National / Piano Tutorial

A little background on this video:
I have been asked in some of my covers to create tutorials on how to play them, but unfortunately, I usually don't have enough time to invest in creating long videos and I have to just accept that I can't afford to fulfill such requests. This one was special.
A guy, whose name I'll keep secret, saw my cover in TH-cam and then reached out in my instagram DMs. He explained that he was planning to propose to his girlfriend with this song and that he thought my rendition of it was one he liked, so he asked me just for a simple video showing my hands playing it without much more explanation or a lesson type production.
I of course agreed with a lot of enthusiasm and hope that this will be enough for him to learn the hand positions and thus be able to make his dream come true.
I also decided that since I was gonna do it I might as well share it publicly for anyone that could use it.
I hope she says "Yes.", my friend.

I don’t, unfortunately. I learned it by ear and from some videos of live performances 😊
