Julie, you’re Vietnamese not Korean 😊. Meaning you don’t have to try and act oblivious, calling a Vietnamese dish an “asian salad” and the nuoc mam “dressing”. It’s embarrassing how you look so much into addressing Korean and Italian food correctly, but you pretend not to know what banh mi, banh cuon, nuoc mam, and cha lua is called at your grown age of 25. Please just accept your culture and where you come from.

I've seen another person also comment and say you're Vietnamese. If you aren't Thai, Laos, or Viet, then what could you be if not Korean? You're interesting to watch and the food you eat looks good. You don't need to appeal to viewers by profiting off of Korean culture and their assumption of you belonging to that.

I grew up with that and papaya salad. that's why I said that in that mukbang. I promise I will get to know more Viet food and name them properly in the future.
