Every time I see that an officer has fallen in the line of duty it absolutely breaks my heart into a million pieces. One day in about 6 or 7 years I’m hoping to be working for a local police department or sheriff’s office. Every time I talk to an officer and see an officer I have to stop what I am doing and say thank you. If anybody in law enforcement sees this comment, thank you so much for putting your life on the line for others.

I want to see an entire multi million dollar prison building built purely as a memorial to those who were falsely accused convicted and imprisoned in some cases put to death

matt p no college is not required but in most states you need to be 21 and have some kind of experience that pertains to police work.
College requirement varies by department. Check that agency's website. Davie requires college or previous military service.
