    I have to say a HUGE thank you. I had been debating getting an ultra wide monitor. There was nothing I could do to get this game looking good and running well together. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

      In VR with an HTC Vive Pro - the colours are too vibrant and sometimes sun reflection on the track is blinding. I am running a 3080Ti and FPS isn't an issue - just getting a realistic image is a nightmare. Easier to stick to my 49" wide screen, where colours are fine.

    a GREAT method for all who are still not happy with the VR settings -> just look at the official competizione forum. There go to acc vr section and search for thread "best vr settings, try this engine.ini". There you will find 2 files and an explanation where to copy them to. So just copy those 2 to the given directories and then start ACC VR -> first moment when you are back in car you will think -> this is the NEW ACC VR, sharp, vivid -> I love it :) since ACC has the best AI in my opinion and the sounds are.. just AWESOME... this is my MUST GO VR racing sim title now.. if you like the awesome GT series you MUST try ánd use those 2 files :)

    • @Deankenny21
      @Deankenny21  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, found AndrewWOTS engine.ini now I have an RTX3080, looks even better. However I still think this is relevent even once using the engine.ini, because some people may be using external SS which locks the ingame pixel density, and it's the pixel density which gives the most drastic improvements.

    Your experiences with the resolution scale and vr pixel density are EXACTLY the same as I had. I also had res. scale always on 120% or so. Picture was blurry. Since I went to res. scale 100% and vr pixel density to 120%, the game looks absolutely stunning! I have a Valve Index.

    • @abhishekab1
      @abhishekab1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great, I too have an index and am keen to give it a try. BTW what fps you are running the index at for ACC? 90 or 120. Which one gives you better result? Thanks in advance

    • @MelSimRacing
      @MelSimRacing 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@abhishekab1 Hi, I run my index default on 144 fps. On tracks with few cars I often reach 144 fps for instance in RFactor2. For ACC I also run it in 144 and I feel that it's actually quite smooth, even if frame rate halves to 72 fps. But tbh I'll try to keep an eye on it more. If you go to my yt-channel you can see some live streams I made racing in ACC to get the idea if it's fluent or not.

    • @Deankenny21
      @Deankenny21  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I also recently bought a Quest 2, but had to end up buying a Reverb G2. The Quest 2 is an ok headset, but the compression artifacting (lego bricks) is just too apparent for me even when using 400-500 bit rate. Really made me miss my Rift S. Because I had already sold the Rift S to buy the Quest 2, I had to just go all out and buy a Reverb G2, upon which I then returned the Quest 2.

From what I remember, I would imagine your problem is your CPU (you might be bottlenecking). It also could be needing to play with the settings more. If it is neither of those 2, my guess would the issue is the Quest headset. You can possibly try making a post on the ACCompetizione subreddit page if you have a reddit account. This made a huge difference in my VR performance in general. 2. Switch the Radeon setting to the Esport preset.
