    Greetings from PANAMA 🇵🇦, from now on you can enjoy even better, because the train is already running from the airport, they will not have that need to spend a lot of money on taxis or UBER. .GREETINGS.

      is this something new? Because I'm not a fan of dragging luggage around to save a a few dollars

      Is it a shuttle or a stop on a regular train?

    • @NomadicJayye2021
      @NomadicJayye2021  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@antoniotula262 They basically added another "small train line" that will take you to Line 2 (green) but you still need to take the airport shuttle (free) to the airport line. The metro station is not physically at the airport.

      @@antoniotula262 It's still much better now. you jump on the airport shuttle with your suitcase, get off at the next stop which is the airport metro, then take a "35 cents" metro train to damm near anywhere in Panama City. OR you can take a "30 Dollars" taxi to the city.

    You should have come out of the New Balance store, turned 2 rights and gone into the Running Balboa store where they sell all kinds of running shoes (including New Balance). Right next to it is the New Era store where they sell only caps and hats.

      I actually went in to the one at Albrook Mall first, then Multiplaza. They both have very choices of New Balance. I was so focus on some new sneakers, I don't think I noticed the New Era store. Thanks for the information. I hope to be back in Panama sometime this year.

    Would you say that Panama felt like the safest city in Central/ South America that you’ve been to?

    • @NomadicJayye2021
      @NomadicJayye2021  ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Mmmm....I would say YES. Panama City is the only city in Latin America where I didn't feel like I was constantly looking over my shoulders. I remember the first time I visited there. I arrived at night hungry. I dropped my bags off at my airbnb and walked around ( at night) looking for somewhere to eat. Not one time did I feel unsafe. I wouldn't have done that for the first night in Rio, Mexico City, Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota , Quito or even Santo Domingo DR..

      I actually felt really safe in Qutio and mosy of Buenos Aires. I would walk around at 2am and 3am, and felt fine. However, nothing beats how safe I feel walking around East and SE Asia.
      Everyone's experience is different, though 🙏
