I grew up at Long Beach before it was made a Federal Park. Loved your video. Still love our Tofino trips. Now I live in the Cowichan Valley. The entire Island is an idyllic paradise. The surrounding islands are magical. I worship the beauty of this place..

about 15 years ago I went to Tofino in a rent car with friends. on the way there I went through a forest with very old and tall trees and dropped in at some small towns. I wish i went back to that time. Thank you so much. You guys reminds me of the whole memories about the tofino trip. I love Canada. I'm in korea.

When I first discovered Tofino and surfing; I drove the 400km each way every weekend for 5 months straight.
Followed that up with a 25 day stint camping out in the bush.

That surf Grove location looks amazing, camping, beach at walking distance. I've never surfed before but looks like a good time.
your dads speech around 8:50 really sums up life quite well. a family lovingly enjoying nature and each other... all the while their dog is free on the beach making friends and loving life as well. If that's not the meaning behind life I don't know what is. Quite a tear-jerking thought as well.

Flashlights. I live in the boonies where there's no light. So we are big fans of Coast lights from Canadian Tire. They have a big circle of light or a focus for distance. Just sharing because it's that time of year again.. Thanks for the videos you do. I really enjoy them..

Thank you for sharing this adventure. My wife and I are beach people and love places like Tofino (haven't been there yet). I am from Maui and I miss it terribly. Now that I've got all of the interstate driving out of my system it's time to return to the rock. Tofino sort of reminds me of Paia and Lahaina in Maui. Thanks for showing the light sytems you have. My next investment will be a couple of Claymore lights. Presently, I use Luminoodle, ENO string lights and a lantern that doubles as an alarm system. It's not the bears I worry about but the two legged creatures concern me. My wife is from Boston and she's allergic to seafood...unbelievable! I'm from Maui and I used to dive and spearfish for my meals. I do most of the cooking as my wife is physically challenged. So when I prepare seafood I have to cook a separate meal for her. That seafood dinner looked absolutely delicious, especially the salmon sandwich.

Vancouver Island is a place I would like to go to again if this crazy lock-down is lifted. Been there once but only for a day visit. A couple of weeks would be great. All take care and be safe out there.
