When I first heard this song I cried. Idk why, I don't cry but it just made me sob. I think it was a mixture of both happiness and sadness bc the sadness in the beginning (before the beat drop) and her rawness in her vocals made me super sad and happiness bc I LOVE HER SO MUCH to the point where I cried hearing her like this. It made me sooo happy.

She has that Billie Holiday/Sade vibe........very melodic. I say Billie Holiday because when she is trying to hit certain notes, you would think it isn't working, then she embellishes it on the end to bring it home. It is a beautiful tone, very natural, something you cannot duplicate because most singers do not allow their tones to bend that way.....it is usually textbook. But Billie is not playing by anyone's rules of the past.

This song is literally don’t smile at me vocals combined with WWAFA,WDWG? sound. The vocals is as bright as don’t smile at me, but the sound is more chilled out, and jazzy kinda like xanny chords from WWAFA,WDWG?. All I can say is she just kept amazes me, literally every single song she released none of them dissapoints me.
