Once the girl, slides down and is hidden from the crowd the other girl slides down smoothly making it look like it was a quick change when in reality it’s two separate people. Also common sense there is no way anybody could take all that off that quickly. They would need to let go of the pole to take the mask and the outfit or it would have to be somebody doing it. And that would cause the pole slide to take longer than it should. You might be thinking of elles quick change. Now that is Velcro but it’s not the same with the other girl.

That actress is Tracy Jai Edwards, who replaced Leslie Kritzer for the taping of this particular show. On top of that, Asmeret Ghebremichael replaced DeQuina Moore as Pilar. This show was filmed in September of 2007, and both Kritzer and Moore had already left the cast by then.
Annaleigh Ashford (Margot) is one of my favourite performers in this production. I just love her facial expressions! She really captures the role and her voice is brilliant too. Apparently, she was the understudy for Elle and actually got to play Elle once.
I can't really say I'm a huge fan of this show. It's a little too cheesy for my tastes, but this is actually a really good opening number. It totally sets the tone for the entire show, gives the star a chance to shine a little, and it's really catchy too!

Éponine Thénardier well, not exactly a double, but when the lady goes down the pole she stops halfway down between that part in the set where the audience can’t see while another character (who’s been painfully holding onto the pole since the beginning of the song) slides down seamlessly.

Éponine Thénardier well, not exactly a double, but when the lady goes down the pole she stops halfway down between that part in the set where the audience can’t see while another character (who’s been painfully holding onto the pole since the beginning of the song) slides down seamlessly.
Éponine Thénardier not only that but she doesn’t have to be a double, because the girl is wearing a face mask and a bath robe, leaving you to wonder if it really is the same person.
