TCG... I have the red and blue but must now add the light and dark side decks. Those tucks are amazing like you said. Totally agree with you on so many different characters they could have introduced to either decks. Jabba The Hut, Chewbacca, Darth Maul, Jar Jar Binks etc. Thanks for the review.
Thanks man I just got a 12 deck box set for my Dad for Fathers day, I left out the dark side silver edition. The new gold edition looks very nice, also!
I agree, I wish they would have added more characters like Chewbacca, R2-D2, ewoks, etc. Also, on the white and black version, maybe a new design of some sort instead of a re-coloring. Oh well, it's still a nice deck either way and I'm still a Star Wars fan, so you know I have to have them all. Great review Tim 👍.
They should do other editions like they did with Mandalorian to catch the characters of each trilogy. Young Luke, R2, C3PO, Chewie, etc. can be caught in the OT, the prequels can give us Darth Maul, Jar Jar, Greivous, Yoda, a Battle Droid, etc. And the sequels can give us Snoke, Poe, Phasma, Finn, Rose, etc. Maybe even throw in the rest so we can get characters like Cad, L3, and Erso?
I agree unless if we have other option deck of Star Wars playing cards of new characters and new ships from Ahsoka shall be different than The Mandalorian.
That is weird that they put the tie fighters on the light side tuck...still these cards are awesome. Not sure if the new boxes are enough to get me to buy them again. What the hell I probably will.
They really messed up. The light side should've only had Jedi/good guys from the movies, and the dark side should've only had siths/empire characters on them. Such a missed opportunity
First of all, there is more than one movie, and it's the galactic empire, not the republic. And it's Anakin's lightsaber. The scene from Dagobah is from the empire strikes back. It's a cross guard lightsaber.
The light side one is OK I guess, because it's a different take on the originals. The dark side on the other hand seems just like a less colored version of the originals. All in all, I think this is just a moneygrabbing effort by theory 11. They know there are both SW fans and completionists out there wanting to get hold of every deck in the series no matter what. Seems a bit lazy just removing colors and do nothing else to differentiate them from the original ones with vibrant colors. Me, a casual card collector (I don't like SW, and I'm by no means a completionist), didn't feel the excitement vibe at all when theory 11 first announced it on their Instagram. Straight off the bat, they felt pale, dull and gray.
I don't disagree around the cards especially. I think the tucks stand out as distinct, but the cards seem like a paler version of the OG decks. That said...I'm a big Star Wars fan AND completionist...so here I am.
The cover for the Dark Side deck is the view from the Emperor's throne room inside Death Star 2 in Return of the Jedi.
Oh yh
The lightside one is view from millennium falcon
For those interested. The phrases on each seal read- Light: Join the Resistance. Dark: Defend the Empire.
I wish they had a version with characters only from the original movies.
Amen!

I mean, I could do without Jar Jar... 😂😂 but Chewie....that one was definitely a big miss!
I’ve been sitting here thinking, “how could they leave out Darth Maul?!?!” He would just look so exceptional in that art style.
@@brannonkirkhuang Totally agree with you on that. Or wouldn't have Darth Maul made a great Joker?
I’ve bought all 4 and love them but I’m surprised they never made an original Luke and even a stormtrooper
Do you like silver edition better?
@@LukeMicheal20 idk really i like them all about the same but if i had to choose i’d probably say the original versions
Thanks man I just got a 12 deck box set for my Dad for Fathers day, I left out the dark side silver edition. The new gold edition looks very nice, also!
@@LukeMicheal20 no problem and that’s a good thing to do for your dad, nice 😉

I would buy an all-Ewok deck. 🤔🤔
maybe you still care, they made the mandalorian deck check it out
These are really cool cards. I have the red and blue decks. Great review. 😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
Fan of Star Wars you are! 😁
I love those courts! I don't have any of the decks but I sure do want them. SomedayI will.. 😊 great review! Thank you.
You can go ahead and call me a geek! 😂
@@TheCardGuyReviews It's fun being a geek! The Mandolorian comes out October 30th! Can't wait!
Great review! This was a fun video to watch while excitedly waiting for mine to arrive!
Great review. I really appreciate that you reviewed and showed how the deck handle as well.
Thank you for your review, cards look cool but I wanted to know if the sequel trilogies were included in the cards…you saved me some 💰

So they fixed the morse code too😁. Great review Tim.
Small error, but glad it's cleaned up!
If I buy these 4 sets, and not open them, will they add in value lets say in 30 years? Since they are licensed
Lol I wonder if the TIE fighters on the light side tuck was a legit mistake.
A really great moment from Empire*

I’m a sucker for Star Wars...and Theory11...and I’m a completionist. I was doomed from the start.
But, they did not? Where on the light do you see it?
Do you know if Theory 11 has gaff cards.
Did they theory11 Will be stop product this edition ?
What would you rate them 1-10 ? Out of all your decks
Hm...I’ll say 7/10. The tucks are great as always from T11 and the custom courts are well done. The backs fall a bit flat though.

Do i go with this or blue/red xd?
There is now the special Avengers
i still think the blue and red one is better
I definitely like a little more color on the card backs. The tucks of these are really nice though!
are these cards plastic? like good for poker?
First of all, there is more than one movie, and it's the galactic empire, not the republic. And it's Anakin's lightsaber. The scene from Dagobah is from the empire strikes back. It's a cross guard lightsaber.
i have the the white silver deck
Promise me you won’t review the Jar-Jar Binks deck...
Mesa no like that deck. Mesa no buying. Yousa should pass too.
The Card Guy [sound of my eyes rolling]
Carlassian? The fuck?
I found this on lazada
Nice!
Are these plastic cards?
Nope. They are on regular paper like a Bicycle deck.
I see why they mixed real with fake Star Wars characters…To limit sales.

You know way too much about this topic fanboy!

The Card Guy Arubesh... who knows this stuff?
