These historical walks are a pure delight 😊 Great to see you and Oana enjoying life, exploring wonderful East Anglia and sharing it with us 😊 I shall be sure to visit Coggelshall next time in England as its not far from my town of birth…Sudbury 😊👍👍
Thank- you for bringing me along...I truly enjoyed seeing the architecture, hearing the history and... the shared humor. It's great you two are doing these walks, very much appreciated.
I loved this! All these walk-about shows are wonderful! Thank you, Chris and Oana. It's just like tagging along with you. Such a beautiful town. The houses and the church are amazing. I liked the graveyard too. I like seeing the different kinds of monuments. Looking forward to the next one!
Thank You Oana and Chris! I did so much enjoy this tour! I’ve been a cabinetmaker and restorer of period antiques many years and have done some fine carpentry on period homes. So I appreciate the fine art/craftsmanship of these beautiful buildings. My wife is an artist originally from Romania so I feel a kinship as well! Love, Light, Peace and Joy of Being! I enjoy our virtual walks together via TH-cam. Lovely little village, reminds me of Wimbourne St. Giles near me. Quaint houses and even quainter hauntings lol. I appreciate the level of information you give us and it draws you in. In fact I can't think of a village that reminds me of the old adage more than this one. The adage? Oh yes: "More front than a row of houses".
As you may remember, I want to see and understand every inch of England and you've got me well on that path!! Really relaxing tour. Many don't stop to smell the roses these days but you miss half the world. Thank you both for a very pleasant learning tour! 💜
I've been in the area this weekend and have loved every minute. My elder siblings say that the old Corona pop bottles were returned to corner shops for money back. Lovejoy was also part filmed in Withersfield near Great Thurlow where I was married. You are spot on with so many subjects Chris, including bigotry and traffic. Waiting 20 minutes at a Braintree roundabout yesterday..
That was utterly delightful to see on a number of points! firstly the amazing buildings and history which, for me was fascinating to hear about! then to her the name pronounced properly! As I thought Oana was pronounced with an O but it was lovely to hear it whit what sounds like an I sort of sound! That village was just amazing to see and thank you ever so much for the history lesson on buildings! Well done to sa you are knowledgeable is an understatement! Thank you ever so much!!
I’ve really enjoyed the walkabout series Chris. Oana’s, tour around the garden at cressing temple was a particular highlight for me. Finchingfield would be an interesting place to visit with the added benefit of a pub and tea rooms! There’s an interesting church in little sampford which isn’t far away; in then graveyard you’ll find a Charles Dickiens, not “the” CD but an interesting coincidence non the less. Thanks for everything.
Thanks, Matthew! 😊. Your comments will please, Oana. And regarding Finchingfield. That`s very interesting. We`ll have to cover that village with Bardfield.
@@HauntedEarth fantastic, I live very near there. Edward Bawden, the name on the blue plaque you had some questions about, was a famous local artist. A war artist he painted in mainly oil, many local landscapes. I think you and Oana would appreciate his work. Look forward to your next film. 😊
Paycocke's woodwork is wonderful. I would have loved to visit the building when I was in the area. Maybe next time!!! Do you think the brickwork between the wood beams was original??? By the way, I love the pub! Thanks Chris and Oana!

Thanks, Lorraine. That`s what we aim for. A feeling of inclusivity on our meanders :)
Loved these walk-abouts. Thanks for doing these, for all of us who hope to visit Great Britain sometime.
Thanks, David. I hope these shows give a feeling of being here. Pleased you enjoyed. 😊

And thank you, DaveyJo. A man after my own heart regarding restoring stuff. And another lady from Romania 😊 Please send our regards.
@@HauntedEarth indeed I shall!

Thank you, Barmy! 😊
Have lived in this beautiful village for almost my whole life and still learnt somthing new, chris is truely a great guide!!
Do you know the Piller family? My father was born and raised there. He had several siblings. My dad is Chris Piller. His nickname was Jesus.
I am absolutely loving these tours 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
And thank you, Patricia, for joining us on these jaunts! 😊
Lovely homes & shoppes, with gardens that seemingly go on forever!
Hello Chris & Oana thank you very much for taking me on this lovely walk with these beautiful historical surroundings💛🌜💛
Our pleasure! Thanks, Grazia.
Such a wonderful walkabout, I love this place!!
Thank you, Lolly 😊
Chris, you're at your best in these historical tours. Fascinating! Prefer them to the night vigils tbh!
Glad you like them! Thanks.
You two are such a great team. You really compliment each other. Did Oana ever get her "fresh" meat? LOL. Chris you are just too much.
Thanks, Kari :) Oana did get her meat eventually, lol!

Springs Transv. probably refers to the town of Springs in the Transvaal region of South Africa.
Lovely tour, thanks Chris! Does anyone go fishing in these rivers?
Thanks Kirsten. I daresay some do, but I wouldn`t know. 😊
Willl you be doing any more night time vigils ?
The next video will be a night invest!
@@HauntedEarth great stuff:)
Very nice tour, tragic that businesses have been lost and a shame the old church isnt being saved
Thank you for commenting. It is sad.
@@HauntedEarth I wonder if you could raise awareness and a Go Fund Me. Bring it to the media. That's just too nice of a place to let waste away.

Thanks Chris and Oana!
Yes I do too! The brickwork is original. You`d love this area :)
Coggeshall is a Town not a village it has a market charter from 1256
I love these videos and Chris’s politically incorrect humor! Keep them coming! It’s like virtually hanging out with you both for an afternoon.
Well, I try not to be offensive, though. :) Glad you enjoyed the stroll!
Need to keep traditions
That`s true, Mark. 😊
Oana is really nice
I think so, Mark. 😊
