Just got this kit in last week! Very cool to have, as I much prefer the stripped-down style of the grunt suits; this is more of a rarity for me since I usually go Zeon with my MG's! It's nice because the bazooka is the Jegan bazooka, and can be given to the MG Jegan for more options! Also, any issues with looseness of weapon-holding can be fixed with a little bit of putty ;)

If you ask me, they should have made the "original" Ver Ka designs (that were never animated) P-Bandai since... THEY WERE NEVER ANIMATED, and released the EW designs as normal releases since they HAD been animated!
Good to see you test out smartphone led-flash light-piping on the back of the head-part. Foil-stickers would be nice if you put underneath the front visor for shiner effect... just like the HG-Overflag kit with foil-sticker inside the orange-face part.
I have this kit. Definitely a fun build. I gave the bazooka to my regular Unicorn GM II so it looks like the one from the beginning of Ep 4. This kit is a little underwhelming. I wish it had the regular shield parts. An unnecessary exclusion for sure.

I wouldn't look forward to them releasing 3 trillion variations again for the next 100 years but the MG Unicorn is just so dated and horribly proportioned it could really do with a 2.0

The 2.o MG's are meant to look anime accurate, and people are bitching about the MG 2.0 Alex saying it looks to anime accurate. People forget the Nu and Sazabi Ver. Kas are NOT 2.0s.
I like how the spear is pretty much like strapping a short sword to a pole to use as a make shift swinging spear (Yes I know you can swing a normal spear but you won't get much affect out of it) Or in some case strapping a hatchet and a sword sword to a pole to make a halberd

the twin beam spear’s design is so weird. Like, if you’re slashing with it, why have two beams? If you’re stabbing with it, why not just stab with one where you need to stab? It just doesn’t seem very necessary. I can understand one beam saber on a stick, but two?
This is nothing compared to the Jegan that fought the Kshatriya..the pilot was metal! Though the Jegan was obliterated it went down with style! Long story short... I WANT A MG VARIANT OF THAT JEGAN!!
The GM Sniper II doesn't get much more screen time in its debut to be honest. Just a few seconds launching from the Grey Phantom and a few seconds smoldering on the ground. :( The difference I guess is that the GM Sniper II has been around longer and has appeared in a number of games and side stories- for example the pretty badass White Dingo Team.
@@MechaGaikotsu I have the MG White Dingo GM Sniper II, and its pretty awesome! Its not perfect though, since it recycles the MG Ground GM/Gundam/EZ-8 weapons, so the sniper rifle (and beam rifle technically) needs to be painted for color accuracy. I also found the weapons don't fit into the hands very well- but since the hands are the "fully poseable" ones with the fold out tab, I carefully drilled out slots into the weapons handles to make the weapons fit with the tab, so they work perfectly now.

Probably because making some new parts to make a variant is much easier than making a whole new kit. Plus Unicorn stuff sells like crazy.

The only Master Grade i have is the Full armor Unicorn which is staying in its box where it definitely needs to be.
