I bought this thru homedepot in October 2023. I just recently had to use it so I charged up the battery and it would turn on and shut off. Mine came with 2 batteries and both were fully charged. Sometimes it would turn for a minute and turn off and back on and turn off. Took it back to Homedepot with my receipt and was told returns are good for 90 days only. So all they would do is give me store credit. I used this to buy a Milwaukee. They said this was the 3rd. Dewalt ruturn they had with this Dewalt drill. Glad I bought the Milwaukee!!! Trouble free!!
I build RC airplanes. This is my go-to. This is one of the ONLY drivers I will use to push small machine screws (M1.5/M2/etc) without stripping. There is literally that much control.
I fly Rc planes and helicopters as well. I too just ordered one of these because of the light clutch and how precise it is:)
I have one and its outstanding. No more feeling for the switch to drive or reverse. It takes a little getting used to but once you do you'll be more than content. Get the one that converts from inline to pistol grip. Also the convertible one comes with a two bit holder that securely clamps onto the driver so you never have to search for the bits.

Nice review! Too bad that battery charger is so big it kills the portability. Once they add USB charging this screwdriver will be king of the hill!
It would be like losing a hand to lose my driver. I've had the articulated version for many years and put many many hours of use on it. Folks shouldn't get the idea that this is going to replace their drill or impact driver, it's low torque and has it's place. But I work in controls and electronics and spend a lot of time in control panels. This thing is a life saver when you're staring at 300 wires to be terminated in front of you. Still running on the original batteries after the years of service too.
It's funny though how many people I've handed it to that have a fit getting the hang of the gyro. Most do and like it after they get the feel for it but a few just can't seem to get it. lol

Great question....not sure. Its variable speed 0-430 rpm best for fastening into wood, plastic, and light-gauge metal

The last screwdriver I'll ever buy? I'm in! But I'll be honest, I'm a tool aficionado, so that probably won't be true in my particular case. Tool manufacturers always keep improving their designs, and I'm okay with that, because I love buying new tools.
Anyway, that gyroscopic cordless electric screwdriver seems quite handy and easy to use, especially, if all one has to do is press a button and slightly turn one's wrist left or right. Plus, no need to carry a flashlight, that thing is bright!

unfortunately the lack of a gyroscope override for the motor leads to relatively common instances where it doesn't work for the job. if it had a variable speed trigger option too I think it would be perfect.

Surprisingly strong torque that you can control with merely a flick of your wrist. Now, you're not going to drive screws into concrete all day with this thing but for most small jobs it'll be more than adequate.

The gyro concept seemed very cool so I bought one. I was quickly disappointed. I tried my darnedest to like it. I couldn’t. I even boxed it up to send back but convinced myself to give her a second chance so I unboxed it *again*. I worked patiently on trying to get more accustomed to the wrist turn vs the trigger. I tried to make myself like it. I couldn’t . The twisting of your wrist to activate takes awhile to get used to. It’s kinda awkward actually. After I got more used to it I still couldn’t justify it was a better way of doing things over a trigger. A trigger is way better than a gyro. After buying it and trying desperately to like it I realize the gyro concept is kinda pointless. A trigger is just plain easier..more convenient..less movement to disrupt your screw. You will hate it turning your wrist all day to screw stuff in. It really gets annoying after awhile. A simple trigger pull requires barely any effort to having to twist your wrist and you will see what I mean when your done torquing down 100 screws for the day. If you are in a delicate situation where you need to keep that screw still to begin driving it..forget bout it. When you twist your wrist there goes your screw and back down the ladder you go. The tool is great except for the gyro part. It needs a toggle option to be able to switch the gyro on or off. Boxed it back up and returned it.
Maybe i’m wrong buf i think is bs this gyro think to a power tool. Someone tell me why…why you take us the joy of pushing a button 🤦🏻♂️
