These venues are perfect for breakfast wedding. I see a place for the donut and pancake station. Oh my in the springtime morning all these new plants in the background…. BreKfast wedding
Beautiful venues…but the first was my favorite. It has all those lovely blooming flowers in the gardens and a beautiful aisle for you to walk down. Be sure and ask what flowers will be in bloom for your wedding date. It can vary depending on time of year. Make sure you have a Plan B in case of bad weather. The round tables are ideal for the dinner. I didn’t like the bench seating for the guests in the last venue you looked at. They are very hard on the back, especially for older guests. The second venue cocktail area was gravel which is also very difficult to stand on and completely tears up high heels. So yeah, that’s my two cents worth. LOL. Can you tell I used to do weddings? I know you and Marcus will choose what suits your aesthetic and budget. I can’t wait to see episode 3. Good luck and best wishes you two.
Judy Jones, I agreed with everything you wrote, lol. I preferred the first one as well, 2nd one, not so much, it was too generic for me personally, the first one spoiled me though, so I was kind of bias, lol, the grounds, flowers, character, it looks like a place you would want to get married. The 3rd one was better than the 2nd but the first one is still the winner, it just gave wedding vibez, lol
Hey, Y'all! I love Venues 1 & 3, in that order. While it's great that some venues have their own coordinator, I'd STRONGLY suggest that you hire a Day of/Week of/or Month of Coordinator who's sole reason for being there is to advocate for you & Marcus on y'all's behalf & run interference during that last stretch of the journey. Onsite coordinators can be great, but they ultimately work for the venue. If gou don't want to do that, definitely designate a point person who's responsible for handling any last min emergencies so that you can just enjoy.
I love the 3rd venue because it has the most potential to become whatever your vision is. It has a really beautiful rustic charm to it, without forcing you to stay within a certain color palette, and it’s a great price. The first one was also a good option.
Number 2 is my favorite. It wasn’t plain like the first one, and it didn’t have those high school craft project looking chairs like the first one either. It also looked more formal, like a wedding belonged there. Number 1 is also super plain and those stairs may be a little tricky getting down in heels. You always want a flat surface to accommodate any wheelchairs or elderly people. Number 3 looked like the fellowship hall at church with the baptism river out back. It wasn’t formal and elegant enough. It’s basically a regular house for someone to play dress up in. The view was nice, though. I like the separate dens to get dressed in and the games it came with. Can’t wait to see y’all on the big day!
thanks for watching love! It may have looked plain because it wasn't set up for a wedding like the 2nd one! But the 1st one has a lift to help anyone who may need assistance getting up and down the stairs :)
First venue seems perfect. Third venue had seating issues -benches for ceremony and loooong tables for reception. Plus the landscaping for venue 1 was stunning.
I don’t remember when you said you’ll be getting married but if you go with #1, probably July to mid August would be the ideal time to marry due to a few flowers I noticed. I have all of them in my garden. Hydrangeas are a mid-summer bloomer, vincas are strong all summer (the hanging baskets) and knockout roses are best in spring but bloom again in the summer. Well at least here in NC that’s how it is. Around September, hydrangeas change colors (mauve then it dries out to brown) and roses start to loses its leaves. Option 3 will look the same from late spring to early fall really because it is mainly trees. Spring and winter would not be very pretty. #3 had the nicest reception area in my opinion but #1 had the nicest ceremony area.
I personally really love the first. The trees for the ceremony space is beautiful. And the all inclusive cost is amazing. That’s like around 100$ per person and that’s for everything. The venue I want the food ranges from 75-100$ per person. That includes nothing else.
I clicked on this at 5pm CST, but couldn't finish watching until now. 😩 I love the first venue! 😍 And I love the fact Marcus is involved and has input! I'm so excited for you two!! 🥰
Lovely venues. The first venue is my favorite. The beautiful landscape and quaintness really captured me. The last venue came in a close second. Thanks for taking us along! 🤗🤗🤗💕
There's no wrong choice because they're obviously all beautiful, but I liked the first one best. It was cozy, natural charm without feeling forced and had the same vibe as the place where Marcus proposed. The second one had lots of little outside places for small groups to gather, but I like when everyone stays together to celebrate the day.
I enjoyed going on your day of venue shopping, they all were pretty nice to me in some way or another, but at the end of the day it"s your day, your wedding and whatever you and Marcus chooses will be Great and Special for you. Just Enjoy the Journey, the Day, Memories, Family, Friends and Each other.....Congratulations and Have A Great Week!
#1 is okay, feel tight and small #2 very nice, like reception room #3 have everything, like the ceremony area very much so guests can have some shade, think of others who have health issues and on medication that will help relax than get super hot.
That was fun to go along with you! When I got married we did it on an “off” day too, and it was so much less expensive! Also to help expenses I had a coworker who’s wife was a professional photographer and she gave me a great deal, and a friend of my brothers did the video. For flowers I used white gardenias for quite a bit of it. It was funny they were the least expensive, but I always loved them and thought they were very pretty. Will you guys be going to any rental places and pricing what it might be to do in your backyard? The ones we have here also have wedding coordinators you can hire too...I was looking at some of those things ( like the floating deck or the metal gazebo) and stuff that I thought it might be nice for a wedding but then also can stay and be a part of your beautiful yard. And I was thinking a shed could make a grooms room and later be a studio for you or you might set up your den as a grooms room... it might be worth checking out before you decide ❤️
Hi Kayla. 👋 All of the venue's spots were beautiful. Anyone of them that you and Marcus decided to have the wedding would be nice. Thanks for sharing👍🥰
I loved all the venues but if I had to rate them (in order of appearance) : 3, 1, and 2!! I agree the built farmhouse doesn’t have any character🥰 excited for more on the wedding plans and home updates 📸
Congratulations to the both of you. And from what you have shown us, I am in love with the first venue with the flowers everywhere. It was just beautiful.
I never post, but that first one is so much like you two from the videos I’ve watched. All the flowers did it and the walk down to the reception is nice!! Congratulations 🎉🎊😇
Congratulations to both of you, love your video and think y’all are beautiful couple may God blessings to you, like venue 1 and 3 please remember to have a back up plan if rain pray u have a beautiful wedding 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️
Your advertising those businesses should afford you some great discount as well. It's worth asking. Your viewer number should give some leverage for pricing. I like both venues but the first venue was an ah ha moment for me. I really liked #1, but of course it's your wedding and it will be beautiful where ever you all have it.
@@YoungLadyBusinessyou are so welcome! I truly enjoy seeing how you and Marcus love each other and work together. Honestly, your whole wedding could be filled with sponsorships, from your bridal dress to the food. There are vendors/businesses out there who need customers. Tell them you'll connect a link in your post for the next year in exchange for what ever product you need from them. Bartering goes a long ways if we know what value we have to give and you have over a 100,000 subscribers. My sister and brother, that's a lot of leverage and bargaining in your hands. Love and Blessings to you all. Wish I could be there to witness your reunion. You all feel like family, smile.
The venues are all nice and unique in their own ways. My question is do they have back options in case of rain? Also 4 hours seems rushed for ceremony, reception and cocktail hour and you purchase additional time? Have you guys thought of a destination wedding and honeymoon and come back home and have a reception for family
yes the backup option is to set up the reception barn as a ceremony site :) we haven't thought about that too much bc we want our family there at the wedding and destination would be too much!
I agree with pretty much all of the other comments lol. The 1st place was beautiful, but I did love the potential for the ceremony space at the last one. It made me think of your engagement space.
Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be amazing! Just a tip if your having your ceremony outside..learnt this through experience. Think about shade or inform your guest to think shade, especially for the elderly. We had to create an umbrella out of the days written program for my elderly parents because it was a really hot day and there was no shade at all. Back up for rain goes without saying.. Something else to check when booking a venue. Check whether you can retain full reimbursement of your deposit if for whatever reason, they cancel on you..get that in writing. I've had many friends lose their deposits because of covid cancellation...just a thought! All the best through your journey of planning your wedding💒
Venue #1 was absolutely beautiful and seemed to offer more bang for your buck for affordable pricing. Y’all are so beautiful 🥰 Everything will and is aligning in divine order. Also, can you give the deets on your white long cardigan sweater? It’s gorgeous 😍
All 3 we're beautiful. I liked the 1st one because of the flowers. But I liked 2nd one for the price, and the 3rd one because of the areas for so many things and that balcony is beautiful 😍
Check the time of day and where the sun is going to be because the minister could be getting fried along with your guests. Check for bug seasons too. Friend of mine got married in Maine during the fly season! 😬
It would have been 3 for me because it kinda reminds me of your proposal area(wooded)but they would need to adjust a couple of things like the benches to chairs, more time 4 hours is not enough, and the barn needs to be fixed to your liking. if not option 1.
I am for the backyard too then when you are in the movie room of the house you can always come back and say that here at our home is where it all happened!
I would definitely go with the last option if it were myself beautiful grounds, scenery etc. The groom and bridal spaces were very nice... whatever you choose it will be beautiful once you put your stamp on it. X
Outdoor weddings for me that I have attended were no good. The weather was hot, raining or very nippy & on top of that the bugs, I just about spoiled one wedding couldn't keep a bee away from me. But, I'm sure there has been some very nice & beautiful wedding other people have experienced. Good luck and I'm sure you will find the perfect one, can't wait to see your wedding.
I got married at the waterview lodge in pine mountain ga. The price is awesome and you get a lot with the building. Y’all should check it out. It was perfect for mine and my husband’s outdoor wedding. We had our reception inside.
I REALLY liked #2, I think it was the intimate setting that did it for me. Also that lake & gazebo makes beautiful backdrops for pictures, and would look beautiful for an early evening wedding (4-5 pm start time) in the fall. #1 & #3 were beautiful also; #3 had too many trees for me ( I'm from Maryland & we had locust over the summer & I have a fear of things falling out of trees). What time of year are you getting married? Does the 4 hrs include the ceremony & reception or is that just the reception? I have a suggestion, consider making you bouquet from silk flowers from Michael's or whatever craft store is in Georgia, that way you can make one to throw & keep your bouquet forever; craft stores have a lot of wedding decor. Continue to look for venues, the right venue will speak to you. Whatever you & Marcus decide, I know your wedding will be beautiful, just like the both of you.
I love the first venue it's so country beautiful! I'd love to see it in person! You and Marcus are such a beautiful couple ! Wish you the best!! Thanks for sharing your journey!
They all were very nice in their own way. But the first option was my fave! I love a more intimate feel rather than dressing it up to get that feel. I don’t like a lot of space during weddings, I want everyone to come together to have a great time, but due to Covid I definitely would change my mind on that now. I’m sure whatever you guys pick will be beautiful and just what y’all love!
Beautiful venues. I liked the outdoor of no.2 with arch like gazebo by the lake. I can already see a fall style wedding, with trees changing color and the gazebo decorated all around with beautiful florals. With a runner lined with florals. Lol you guys will find the perfect spot for your day.
I agreed with Marcus about venue #2 and venue #3 didn't excite me either, especially because of the row seating in the reception area. Venue #1 was beautiful with lovely colors, round tables, and intimate quaintness. I would be sure to inquire if the flowers will be in bloom on your date. You and Marcus are such a beautiful couple. Enjoy this time planning your wedding and life together.
I'm so excited for ya. May ya journey in planningvya wedding be fun and successful. From a person that is an Even Planner don't let it overwhelm ya. It's suppose to be enjoyable.
Loved the last one. It was giving me vibes of the place where you guys got engaged, but ultimately, it's your choice. All very nice. Did y'all decide on a wedding hashtag yet? #AllRoadsLeadtoChapman #CountdownToChapman
I think it’s perfect 👍🏽 and both of you love outdoors and nature. The 2nd option is nice too. I guess you both have to decide what type of wedding you desire and what venue would fit, as well as costs. Time of year/indoor/ outdoor/intimate/spacious. Marcus was right about the feel of both. Totally agree!
Oh wow venue 3 felt so cozy but elegant. It was the reception area that got me. Then the ceremony area. But i guess you gotta think of what if it rains. So then number 1.
Don't forget it takes at least 6 months to order a dress or you will have to take what is ready to wear off the rack and that might limit what you can have.
If I should choose, it would be your backyard, 3 then 1. I love your sunroom and I know if you should decorate your backyard it would be the perfect backdrop for your wedding and anything you use could be yours afterwards.
Congratulations again! These venues were beautiful. I really enjoyed the third option. You guys will find the right one for you. God bless and have a great rest of your week.
Number one makes me think of yes house for you inside love it. Number three I like cuz of his kitchen soul food. Cut down on Catering. Mama Long Greenville Tx 😘🙏🏾
I would spend the money on the bells & whistles that you'll actually use. We did venue shopping before deciding on our own home & found that a lot of the places we looked at were charging way more for what we actually needed given we had a very small guest count. Just keep that in mind! They get you with the beauty of it all but be sure to know what you're ACTUALLY paying for and weighing out whether or not it's worth it 🤗
Hey Kayla and Marcus! I agree that venue shopping is fun and stressful at the same time. I know you are going for an outdoors wedding is there a plan B just in case the weather is not good? Does any of these venues offer a plan B?
I’m just excited for you both. I think that all venues were very nice, I would have to agree with the majority though, option 1 is and was my favorite and my second was option 3. Space wise outside option 3 or 2. I’m torn, you are viewing some pretty nice venues.
Hi friends :) happy Wednesday! 💕 plz like comment & sub if ya haven’t already 🤗

1 is my favorite. 3 is nice too
@@knightingg8324 I agree. Breakfast casseroles and French toast or waffle or chicken and waffles COFFEE ☕ ....mimosas....so many options....

Venue one gets my vote! I agree about the charm it has. Once you add some elegant modern touches with your decor/florals it will take it over the top
I really look forward to your videos. You and Marcus are delightful. The wedding is going to be so beautiful. 💖
Aww thanks love! I’m so happy that ya do 🥰
I love the 3rd venue because it has the most potential to become whatever your vision is.
Keep it simple, save the $$. All u need is each other 💕💕
Better help sound so amazing especially in times like these where there’s a lot going on for everyone and times are stressful
Yessss!! Exactly 🥰 it’s great!!
Yes! Love the last one around .2nd one is absolutely beautiful. But the numbers come first.
As a subscriber, having watched a few videos and recognizing your aesthetic, venue no. one is my fave for your wedding. ♥️
1. Cozy
2. Modern
3. Spacious
I like 1&3... 1 a little more... I think.
I'm so excited for ya. May ya journey in planningvya wedding be fun and successful. From a person that is an Even Planner don't let it overwhelm ya. It's suppose to be enjoyable.
Love the hair Kayla…you guys are adorable 🥰 any of these venues will be beautiful ❤️
Haven't finishing watching but I am soooo excited for this journey 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thanks boo 🥰🥰🥰
I love your backyard Kayla, but venue 3 is my favorite. Love the reception area.
I had to rewatch to choose one Love the bird chirping in Option 1 Marcus suggestion is great 👍🏽
How hard to choose!! You guys are such a beautiful couple! Wherever you get married, I hope you have a long ,happy and healthy life together
I really like option 2 is very nice. You both can make decision to pick one of options which will match your real dream together.
Looking at wedding venues is so fun and so stressful at the same time, lol
Lol right! Super duper fun 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Loved the last one. It was giving me vibes of the place where you guys got engaged, but ultimately, it's your choice. All very nice. Did y'all decide on a wedding hashtag yet?
#AllRoadsLeadtoChapman
#CountdownToChapman
So excited for you guys! Yeah...can't wait to go with you on your journey and see where it lands. God bless ❤
Thanks hun 🥰
❤️Number 1 👏🏽👏🏽 it's more you and I can see all your kind of colors 🎨 in there once decorated 🎉🎉
Congratulations 🙌🏽
Love that you aren't neglecting your mental health.
Oh wow venue 3 felt so cozy but elegant. It was the reception area that got me. Then the ceremony area. But i guess you gotta think of what if it rains. So then number 1.
I like venue no#1 due to more flowers, very cozy! Either one is nice. Wish you well in whatever you guys choose!
That first one was cute and coming all inclusive is less headache!
I like the first one best for you all. I thought going through the home buying was exciting, oh my this wedding is going to be over the top lol💞🍾💐🥂🎊
Beautiful options but I’m definitely loving the first one. It was so beautiful and elegant.
defo first 1 i can see you and marcus there. its so romantic and cosy.
I agree with Marcus, I like venue #1. I really like the idea of you guys being married in your back yard the most. Congratulations again you guys! ❤
Don't forget it takes at least 6 months to order a dress or you will have to take what is ready to wear off the rack and that might limit what you can have.
All of the venues are beautiful, but the first one is my pick that's the one that really caught my eye.
If I should choose, it would be your backyard, 3 then 1. I love your sunroom and I know if you should decorate your backyard it would be the perfect backdrop for your wedding and anything you use could be yours afterwards.
Beautiful 🥰 Thank you Kayla for recommending BetterHelp! Blessings💓💓💓
Congratulations again! These venues were beautiful. I really enjoyed the third option. You guys will find the right one for you. God bless and have a great rest of your week.
Thanks boo!! 🤗🤗🤗
Love the first venue it was so intimate and sweet 💕
Congratulations ❤️. Your proposal video was beautiful !
3rd venue u can add more flowers everythings perfect and easy
Number one makes me think of yes house for you inside love it. Number three I like cuz of his kitchen soul food. Cut down on Catering. Mama Long Greenville Tx 😘🙏🏾
I would spend the money on the bells & whistles that you'll actually use. We did venue shopping before deciding on our own home & found that a lot of the places we looked at were charging way more for what we actually needed given we had a very small guest count. Just keep that in mind! They get you with the beauty of it all but be sure to know what you're ACTUALLY paying for and weighing out whether or not it's worth it 🤗
thanks love
Hey Kayla and Marcus! I agree that venue shopping is fun and stressful at the same time. I know you are going for an outdoors wedding is there a plan B just in case the weather is not good? Does any of these venues offer a plan B?
yes, the reception barns would be plan b for all venues
@@YoungLadyBusiness it's so important that consideration...
I’m just excited for you both. I think that all venues were very nice, I would have to agree with the majority though, option 1 is and was my favorite and my second was option 3. Space wise outside option 3 or 2. I’m torn, you are viewing some pretty nice venues.
I like the 1st and last one as well! Thanks for taking us along 🤗
I still think your own yard would make a beautiful beautiful memorable wedding location as well🎊❤️🙌🏽🤗
thanks!
The first one. You have more to work with and both of you change or add what you want.🥰🥰
