You all prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Chad Leighton I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Your comments on the line are spot on. I tried the rice toner last year and I was a bit shocked at how underwhelmed I was for such a hyped product. It didn't leave my skin feeling hydrated or noticeably improved in terms of brightness, so I passed it on to my mom and she seemed to enjoy it. We have different skin types, hers is drier while I'm oily/ acne prone. Fast forward to trying out these two latest launches and I'm disappointed once again. I really wanted to love the cream but I find it too heavy for my oily skin and it leaves me feeling greasy. I noticed the product contained glyceryl stearate which crops up in moisturizers that don't seem to work for my skin type, depending on the formulation. I'm assuming the beeswax also didn't help. Overall while the texture of the cream is nice, I didn't enjoy it. However, this could probably work really well for dry skin types as you noted in your video. Finally, I couldn't agree more about the serum. I'm just not sure what the utility of the product is... It didn't seem to do anything for my skin or have a textural appeal that would make me return to it. I'm sure this line of products can work for some people, but anyone with oily skin should be wary.
Would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the I'm From Honey Serum + Cream! I'm obsessed with the mask, but I don't hear many people talking about the rest of the honey range.
Your channel and your reviews are the reason why I switched to a more Korean skin care routine and also the reason why I shopped at wish trend on black Friday. So thank you! I couldn’t be happier with the products. I got the toner and the serum and so far I’m loving both!
I completely agree with you regarding the toner not being moisturizing enough but I did find that I do see some brightening effects. I really want to try the cream.
i love the cosrx rice moisturizer. i think it's labeled a "sleeping mask" but for my very dry skin it makes a lovely day moisturizer. now i'm excited to try this i'm from rice cream too
Kelly you have to try the 2ndesign first cream moisturizer! The Ingredients list are so damn impressive ( squalane centella, green tea, licorice root, ha to name a few)and it has the loveliest texture. Eo, fa safe and fragrance free too! Price is so good too, please try this!
Thank you so much for all your videos! I have learned so much about Korean skincare through your reviews. I have also found avoidance of essential oils/added fragrance has made a huge difference in my skin. You are glowing in this video.
The moisturizer seems great, but YESSTYLE raised the Canadian free shipping threshold to $215.00 😣 (it's just $59.00 for the US). Kelly, I'm hoping you are going to do a video about Purito, Dear Klairs and a few other brands pulling their sunscreens until further testing is done? I'm sure you've heard that the Purito was found to be SPF 19, PA ++ instead of SPF 50 PA ++++.
Glad you posted this. I noticed I love what you find eh and vice versa so I’m probably going to really love this lol. The rice toner is a holy grail for me (laneige was blah for me). I have oily dehydrated skin. And I love fermented rice products. Thanks Kelly
i've been using the rice toner for three weeks now and i ended up agreeing with you: it doesn't really have a hydrating nor moisturizing effect, however little by little my dark spots are fading away! I'm sure it's not thanks to other products because i use an hyaluronic acid based serum along with the lanaige's cream refiner, so as you can tell the only one that can may help my hyper-pigmentation is the rice toner. i'm satisfied honestly; i decided to buy this toner for his balancing properties and it's doing its job. still though, i agree with your opinion of it not having this "wow" effect some people might have set.
Great review and it’s true not every product works for everyone. I recently got into k beauty products and I’m really enjoying them. I have combo skin and I love the rice toner! I’m glad I never heard the hype around “rice toner”before trying it.
I kinda agree with you about the rice toner using it as an essence.. It's just like a good addition to scincare routine to nourish and soften my skin but not much moisturization. But I still like it. & will I buy it again? YES!! as long as it's on sale but if no sale, I could pass on it. I really like it though! The nourishment were getting from rice is just wonderful. I see that it brightens my skin & softens my skin but again not so much of moisturizing. :D
I always have a good time enjoying how you review with this hype-and-reveal storytelling technique. Good job as usual. 👍 About the toner, funnily enough, I had the same experience with it. I expected it to be one thing, got disappointed at initial uses, forced my way through it then as I was about to finish a bottle for good, I suddenly discovered that it could give my skin a little extra nourishment just like an essence does. It’s kinda like a lovely gift my skin doesn’t need but is thankful for.
Oh wow I didn’t not know they had these two new products and I cannot wait to try them out especially the rice cream. I already love the toner! Thanks Kelly. 💋 I do love rice in my skincare!
I have been using the I'm From Rice toner for over a month now, and I honestly can't tell it does anything for my skin. I am going to use the bottle, since it was a little expensive. I might try the Isntree green tea fresh toner next.
I've been eyeing the serum but you sold me on the moisturizer! It seems like the serum pairs well with the toner with that "oh... that's it??" impression after high expectations.
The silicone ingredients in the serum are actually thinner than water. And they’re volatile so they evaporate when exposed to air. So it won’t be occlusive because of the volatility 😁
Yes, I've never found the rice toner hydrating either. But, I defo want to try that cream now. Thank you for your honest and in-depth reviews - so helpful.
Hi there, the cream is something I will be trying that for our next winter as a day cream as I sometimes find the Illiyoon for day can be a little to rich for my taste especially if I wear makeup. I just wanted to congratulate you of being the influencer featured by Wishtrend, which is so exciting and I really hope that it will give you even more subscribers as you really deserve it 👏🏻🙌🏻. May I ask how you are feeling about the sunscreen saga that is going on right now with a few of your favourite ones. It is so sad and I know that this has happened to many western sunscreens before. I have just found others are now doubting the whole Korean area of skincare as well which makes me so upset. I hope you are keeping well 🙏🏻. Stay healthy, safe and sane with lots of love from Australia 😊❤️
Awww thank you so much! As for the sunscreen issue, I'm waiting for all the information before I make up my mind. There are a lot of unanswered questions and some potential red flags in my mind about the original post/testing that give me pause. It upsets me that this somewhat irresponsible release of information has potentially damaged a lot of brands (although only one seems to be getting the majority of heat) and kbeauty in general. But like I said, we just have to see what new developments and information we get in the coming weeks.
I have gotten many of the rice toners over the years in wishtrend packs and I kind of feel the same about it, its nice and I'll definitely use it when given it but I wouldn't go out of my way to get more. That being said I've given them to my partner and he seems to like it as someone that only really washes their face and puts a moisturiser/sunscreen on, its really all he needs 😊
I used the rice toner a few months ago, and initially I was disappointed (for the same reasons, I had too high expectations) but after a while I started really liking it! It gave me some hydration and plumpness to my skin and it looked very even toned afterwards, my opinion even grew after a friend of mine told me that after putting it onto my skin, it looked so bright and dewy(in a good way haha) so I really miss this toner! but I'm trying some different ones now.. as for the serum and cream I only tried them once, cause I just got them! The cream is indeed very moisturizing and nourishing, but is quite light as well, so I loved it and I did notice some of my redness disappearing afterwards which is a bonus! the serum is alright, it's light and has very nice texture, haven't tried enough to see any major results! thank you for your honest review Kelly! ♥
Your descriptions are always spot on. Looking forward to trying the moisturizer. I also wasn’t really impressed with the rice toner. Now, the Mugwort line is great!
Hi kelly, welcome back ! I also tried the thoner last winter and it was nor enough hydratating nor moisturizing. I would give another try next summer for its balancing. And I want to thank you for your constant wishes of kindness, health and happyness to us and family. And same to you and your family .
Hi Kelly most of the positive reviews for the rice toner are from people with oily or combo skin, so I've never purchased it tbh. Rice itself is something I am interested in trying as an ingredient, so I may get the moisturiser for Spring. I'm severely dehydrated and very dry (with both rosacea and eczema), so I need really rich products during the Winter here in Scotland. The toner always looked like a thin version of the laneige cream skin (which I love) and not too exciting (I do remember watching a previous this or that lol). Few of the really cult products have been holy grails, but I think it's due to my skin type/needs. My skin is "needy" and my products have to work really hard to give the hydration, calming, soothing and moisture my skin demands. I'm fine about layering, but there are limits re time in the morning etc as to how many layers I can apply. I also don't like to overload my skin with different ingredients in the one routine, due to sensitivity. It's about finding a balance between not enough results and overloading ingredients. I also think the I'm from brand is kind of expensive as my skin soaks up a lot of product. More affordable options are serving me well at the moment. So all in all perhaps the moisturiser for Spring, if I can get it on offer lol. Best wishes.
I feel like both the serum and toner are great to use when you want to get rice ingredients into your routine while layering with other products without making things too heavy. 🤔😊
I love the rice toner, and I'd love to try the cream too, as per your review. Also, thanks for recommending the Illyyoon ato cream. I just tried it this week an OMG. Holy grail. UI just can't wait to use it every night and it works wonder after my retinol. I love it and it's a total keeper. Thanks for the tips, I love your vids!
You are so right about the serum. I received a sample with my purchase and it was not hydrating enough for me like the benton snail essence or any other serums.
Hi Kelly..thanks for this review. Have you heard of the Korean brand ‘One Thing’? Products only have 3 ingredients in them. Very simple and to the point. Please would you review it?
I really Like I'm From Rice Toner for my skin type and has shown good results for my skin and I'm happy that u gave it a second chance at least.. coz I like you also very much.. I'll surely would be trying Rice cream during next winter.. Thanks..
How does the rice cream compare with the mugwort cream? The mugwort cream is now one of my fav moisturizers, so I’m curious! Is the rice cream lighter?
I really really love your reviews!! I wasn't interested in the serum (as the silicone turned me off from it and I felt like it would be another dud like the Fig Essence) but now I'm really interested in the cream!! I see the illiyoon in the background~ I can't wait for that review. I bought the ato cream per your review and I am LOVING it. Reliable, affordable, and nourishing? Where have you been all my life!!
I felt the I’m From Honey serum and they texture was amazing, but I haven’t committed and bought it. What are you thoughts on that one? Do you think it’s good for YOUR skin? Or is it like the Rice serum also.
I've got I'm from rice cream and serum on Wishtrend as a part of Gothamista's box. Haven't tried the toner yet. I like that there is no Niacinamide in the cream and there is in the serum quite high on the list. And actually, I prefer it that way because too much Niacinamide in my routine irritates my skin. I don't use the 2 of them together (why rice with rice?) so on the days I don't want Niacinamide, I opt for the cream, on other days I apply the serum and then a cream that doesn't contain Niacinamide. I do feel that serum is moisturizing thanks to squalane in the formulation. But you do some occlusive afterward hence the cream comes after.
Kelly, I love your white sweater/shirt, do you remember where you purchased it? Thank you very much for your reviews, will definitely try the Rice Cream
Exact same opinion about the toner. It also kinda sensitized my skin? I definitely need a new toner though, so what would you say is the difference between your favorite Tiam and Keep Cool toners(I also have dehydrated skin)?
@@fafitah I think you mean the ginseng+snail serum! The ginseng essence water is a new product that just came out and I haven’t seen her review it yet! :)
I used the tatcha rice enzyme powder and i miss it so much.I went vegan and switch to purito. I loved it because it was the first thing where my skin changed for the better. I just need to need to find a more affordable vegan version of it. That stuff is expensive lol
I am new here and I am in *love* with you. You remind me of an actress but I can't quite figure it out. 😂😂😂 thanks for the review! Just ordered the rice cream and rice serum, can not wait to try them!!!
I was thinking, is the rice cream heavier than the mugwort cream? The mugwort cream was my moisturiser of choice this year, and long time I go for a mixed basket of I'm from + Pyunkyang Yul + Missha so I am curious ;)
Did we get the same cream? xD I'm dry skin, and I thought this rice cream was really thick and heavy and didn't smear well (in comparision to the mugwort cream) It feels nourishing enough though, especially in the winter.
I have to completely agree about the rice toner. I was so excited to get it for my dry skin and it wasn’t nearly hydrating enough. I’m gonna get the moisturizer though because that looks very promising for my skin!!
@@moneyonmind2412 I used the whole bottle of I’m from rice toner and I didn’t notice any major changes from it. It wasn’t hydrating enough toner for me.
Thank you for your review!! I think I'll skip out on the serum and moisturizer then ~ I already have holy grails in both categories that I'd rather keep using. Have you tried TonyMoly's rice toner? Its sooooooo good (imo)!
My barrier is compromised and the toner stung my skin a lot. Keep that in mind if you have the same issue. It's either the large amount of niacinamide or the rice bran. Luckily I picked up the mini first. It may work when my skin has healed. ***I just tried the cream and there is no niacinamide in it so it is the rice bran.
I had the same problem with the toner at first (I blamed the niacinamide) but once I healed my barrier I didn't have that problem again and now I love the rice toner, it makes my skin so soft and a little brighter. I hope your skin heals!
@@LilMommaSunshine7 I guessed as much. I will keep it and try it again later on. Isntree has an amazing Ampoule called BW Real Bifida, it has rice ferment, Bifida as well as niacinamide. My skin is a bit sensitive to it now but I can tell it's a fantastic product. You should give it a try. No fragrance, no silicone and full of peptides. 🙂
I have same issues with Tiam B5 toner for some reason, it often stings if my barrier is struggling. Was looking at Rice Toner for an alternative but I guess I'll try something without niacinamide first
@@anam00090 Oh, that's interesting how products irritate a person's compromised skin and not another. Rice is a mild exfoliant, this is why is can irritate the skin. Niciamide can work in small amounts, 2% is ok for me. I personally also enjoy Cosrx Propolis toner. The texture is similar to Tiam and it is soothing, hydrating and gives the skin a nice glow. It's all trial and error and it can frustrating at times. Good luck!
@@quirkygal8 Thank you. Yeah and it's hard to pinpoint exactly what's causing the stinging, Tiam ingredient list seems harmless. I really hope it's not panthenol :D I ended up buying Soon Jung toner for now, out of all the options it seemed the least problematic and very layerable. I'll look into Cosrx Propolis as well, thanks. Mugwort essences have been the only ones with zero issues so far, maybe I just need to settle for mugwort and stop looking
Hey Kelly, have you done a 'This or That' between Stratia liquid gold and Krave great barrier relief? I feel like that would be an interesting comparison
Absolutely loving rice in my skincare! My skin is so much smoother. I love the rice toner so much and I have oily acne prone skin!

Is that a Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Mist in the back? Looking forward to that review!! I just bought it 😍
Video quality is AMAZING😍
Thank you! I just invested in a new light and it was an instant upgrade!
Which one is better for brightening
How does the rice cream compare with the mugwort cream? The mugwort cream is now one of my fav moisturizers, so I’m curious! Is the rice cream lighter?
I really really love your reviews!! I wasn't interested in the serum (as the silicone turned me off from it and I felt like it would be another dud like the Fig Essence) but now I'm really interested in the cream!!
I see the illiyoon in the background~ I can't wait for that review. I bought the ato cream per your review and I am LOVING it. Reliable, affordable, and nourishing? Where have you been all my life!!
Love your camera set up!
The toner is one of the very first skincare products I tired (thanks to James Welsh🙂) and I do love it!! Sorry it didn't help you out.
I felt the I’m From Honey serum and they texture was amazing, but I haven’t committed and bought it. What are you thoughts on that one? Do you think it’s good for YOUR skin? Or is it like the Rice serum also.
I haven't tried that one due to some included ingredients that irritate my skin.😭
I want this my for my boyfriend, he has dry combo skin!! I feel like he will like it now in winter ❄️!
Kelly, I love your white sweater/shirt, do you remember where you purchased it? Thank you very much for your reviews, will definitely try the Rice Cream
Thank you! The sweater is from madewell (early this fall) and the jumper dress is modcloth (last year)
@@KellyDriscoll Thank you Kelly! 💚❤💙
I guess the serum can be "oily skin moisturizer".. I'm considering that for me!!!!
I really want to try the rice toner but I heard it caused break outs for a few people
Exact same opinion about the toner. It also kinda sensitized my skin? I definitely need a new toner though, so what would you say is the difference between your favorite Tiam and Keep Cool toners(I also have dehydrated skin)?
Finally a plain cream, without Niacinamide, AHA/BAHA or green tea, but with rice hallelujah!
You have some nice neutral colors.
Will you review the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence? How do you feel about ginseng in skincare? Would love to hear your thoughts!!
She already has :)
@@fafitah I think you mean the ginseng+snail serum! The ginseng essence water is a new product that just came out and I haven’t seen her review it yet! :)
Would you recommend this or the Biossance Omega Repair Cream??
I also want to know!
She looks a little like Eva Mendez but kinda talks like Emma Stone...I think.
@@manda_musings8459 Famke Janssen was who I was thinking about, took me long enough 😂
Actually it's vanessa hudgens
@@venusnunez3525 YES! So right! That’s really who I was thinking of but couldn’t quite place it
Camera upgrade looks 10x better!
Surprisingly it's just a light upgrade, same camera I always use!
Thank you for this great review! Where can you purchase the Rice Serum and Cream??? I'm from Canada
Mikaela beauty sells k beauty!
Kelly lots of love😍😍😍
I was thinking, is the rice cream heavier than the mugwort cream? The mugwort cream was my moisturiser of choice this year, and long time I go for a mixed basket of I'm from + Pyunkyang Yul + Missha so I am curious ;)
Did we get the same cream? xD I'm dry skin, and I thought this rice cream was really thick and heavy and didn't smear well (in comparision to the mugwort cream) It feels nourishing enough though, especially in the winter.
Can i use mix with niacinamide?
Firstly just wanna say!
The thumbnails is 😍
I have to completely agree about the rice toner. I was so excited to get it for my dry skin and it wasn’t nearly hydrating enough. I’m gonna get the moisturizer though because that looks very promising for my skin!!
Did the toner do anything at all to your skin?
@@moneyonmind2412 I used the whole bottle of I’m from rice toner and I didn’t notice any major changes from it. It wasn’t hydrating enough toner for me.
What other toner/essence do you recommend? (hopefully vegan and cruelty-free)
@@noriii971 I like the Cosrx cica toner and the Dr. Ceuracle vegan kombucha tea essence
@@melissadolezal8811 Thank you! I'll take a look on those:)
Thank you for your review!! I think I'll skip out on the serum and moisturizer then ~ I already have holy grails in both categories that I'd rather keep using. Have you tried TonyMoly's rice toner? Its sooooooo good (imo)!
The best thing to happen in 2020❤️
Hi can you please do a skincare routine for dry acne prone skin. Thank you
Can combination skin be used?
The serum is a bomb. Very hydrating and helped even out my skin tone.
So glad it's working well for you!!
I want to try the toner so badly.
Hope you get the chance!
There is rice ferment in the essence I use, so I’d be open to try the rice toner.
Hey Kelly, have you done a 'This or That' between Stratia liquid gold and Krave great barrier relief? I feel like that would be an interesting comparison
She did a very in depth comparison review
Can you use this toner everyday?
Yes you can use 2x daily!
may i ask your thoughts on missha artemisia cream?
Hi Kelly ! Can you do a video in Korean hair care ? 🙏 stylevania carries a lot of hair products thanks
Make sure you film unpacking stylevana orders though. If an item is missing they want video proof. Happened to me 😒
@@Lulu-xl5cm 😳 thanks i Will for sure !! I am waiting for an order to arrive ... I appreciate your advice
It's a bit random but are you wearing any lip product? I'd love to know what it is😍
Hey, not random! It's a lippie from Etude House Muhly Romance collection, I think the color is BE212. I topped it with a little clear gloss.
Thankyou so much for your respond Kelly! I'm such a sucker for lip products😩
