    This was good. He is old and wise enough to know what gives him peace. He doesn't have to read philosophy or self help books for that. He is open minded to realize that anything is possible in this universe. He focuses on his work and likes to do it well. He has a good family and sleeps well. What else could one ask for in life. And I can't believe he is 72. Looks like 62. Wish this was a longer interview.

    Remembered him from Kala Pathar. He looked really menacing and threw up a good challenge to the heroes. What a down to earth man. A lesson to the youngsters.

    Pleasantly surprised to listen to him for the first time. Unlike his screen persona, he is very articulate, wise and humble. In fact, it's nothing but his humility to say that he is a very ordinary person. The furnitures that he made by himself shows that he is an artist in his own right . May Sharat Saxena Sir live long and continue to work as long as he lives.

    I met him several times in juhu in early 90s during his initial days of struggle (being from same state.) He is down to earth . Wish to see him on higher horizons.His personality remains the same as his bachelor's. Jaihind

    He's so, so real! No nonsense talks, no pretentious philosophies, but above all a very hard working, earthy, kind hearted individual.
    Bas aise hi logo ko ye industry chance nahi deti. Turant se typecast kar dete hai...
    Inke case mein inki acchi physique dekhi hogi lekin may be face Vinod khanna jaisa nahi laga hoga toh villian bana diya... Aur kabhi koi dhang ke roles hi nahi diye phir!
    And everybody knows in bollywood villians are never treated in the same way as heroes in reality, except some exceptions like Amrish Puri ji.
    Bollywood really sucks, kuch bhi bolo... Big time!

    A big salute to Sharat sir, from Kerala. He is a well renowned actor (he has played noteworthy villain roles in Malayalam movies in the 90s and 2000s). People here recognize him as the villain from 'Kilukkam' and 'Nirnayam' movies. He's really a Macho fit man (not the roided spineless "stars" we see today). From the interview, I got to see he is a true gentleman. He's got a great philosophy in life, and I admire the discipline he follows. I respect any guy who builds things.
    Everything he says is one hundred percent true. Especially the part about the books, the authors being mostly female and the quality not being uo to the mark. Thank you for stating that, sir. It's the harsh reality.
