    Love Barrett!
He was one of my instructors at MI in the early 90’s.
We all looked forward to his class.
    Awesome!

The video that actually showed me how to use motifs over an actual chord progression.
    Thank you.

Great playing :-) I've been playing the guitar for 25 years and I am still rubbish! I have got a copy of 'Rhythmic Lead Guitar' and 'Chord-Tone Soloing' recently and started going through them. I have to say they are a bit hard going!! Really have to be dedicated and put in the time!!! I am going to give a go since nothing else has worked and I am desperate. So wish me luck....... Thanks

Thank you very much Al. I'm sure you're not "rubbish" at all, and better than you think! I appreciate the effort you are putting in, and hope your love of playing will increase with every step forward you take.

Great stuff, Barrett! I haven't checked out this book yet, but your book "Chord-Tone Soloing" must be one of the best books on improvisation in general out there! I've spent countless hours working through that one over the years- and it really is great for building a strong foundation! I always recommend it to the ones among my students who are serious about improvisation. Thanks for the inspiration through books and videos:)
