I just bought a swing tube pump, The manual says to use 3 inch hose. Do you think I could use 2 1/2 inch hose for the last hose when pumping hard rock 3/4”?
Great videos! My dad just bought a pump and is using these videos to get a better idea on how to use the pump. We are from OC!!!! Would love to learn more from you.
So Where I pump we run 2 1/2:When I do long push and I don’t have enough 2 1/2 I would run 3 inch hose and where it reduces down It likes to plug every time I did it it would plug at least once.
Nice I remember Gary Bales old trucks. I used to run a t/a pea gravel pump a few years ago. I’ve always like the o-Lin set up. Some parts of oc used to flip out if we dropped water in the street
Anthony I'm absorbing and learning from you and your camera operator input each video. My question is, how much fuel in an "hour" do you consume with your pump, and 2, your skid steer when your operating the hammers. $5.10 a gallon here in Central Coast. I enjoy your Great product and production you have getting on.
man those mixes out there look so good. rarely ever use 2" around here, when we do its mostly for grout or flow fill. once in a while get a decent one, but its either to bony, or pumps good but has so much sand you worry about settling if it sits for 5 minutes
It’s easy to say it’s a peace of cake when you’re pumping you’re own job. When you have been demoing, grading, and forming your job for a week you know what it is. Most pumpers don’t know what they are getting in to until they pull up to the curb. God forbid there is an inspector on site. Regulating the slump. I would say that the Appropriate title for this is… how to look cute while pumping concrete. Concrete pumping is hard work, not a piece of cake.
I’ve been watching all these concrete videos randomly and Idk why but seeing your videos makes me wanna start a new career even tho I have no experience in this type of work lol
Interested in getting in pumping for side money. I’ve been in the concrete business for little over 10 years now. Mainly storage buildings, foundations, and masonry. Hopefully someday be the best in the Midwest 👊
Is it possible for people in other trades to live your kind of lifestyle or is it unique to concrete? Could a carpenter make that kind of money in a few days a week? Your inspiring man.
Hey bro 👊 it seems like having equipment is the key element 💯you can do a lot of work in a relatively short time. So I would say it would be hard to have that sort of lifestyle working in other trades 👍

Are you having trouble getting mud? We are needing to schedule 2-3 weeks out. It’s getting worse here in SD because Mitsubishi re routed ROBERTSONS cement powder train. On one project, the guys had a $700/hour boom pump, and 10 finishers to pour couple house foundations. Robertson’s didn’t let them know until the called to see where there mud was. Also, what are you paying for typical 3250 560c? We are up to $145/yard
