The design does look really clean in chrome.
When 2 of the 7 autos pulled are estimated $100+ AND you still think you got dusted by Topps Chrome... then I think we know the problem - greed be a powerful drug, don't it Fanatics (Topps)?

Opening boxes is all about experience. If you can’t handle the price for the experience don’t buy!!!
100% agree with you. DO NOT BUY expecting to get any ROI, assume the money is gone and enjoy whatever comes. Anything big is icing on the cake
Hmmm weird take. I get the it’s a hobby/collectible and maybe don’t care about reselling.. but your “expected” ROI, should be a bit reflective of the cost to “play/gamble”..
That’s like saying a casino is an experience so you should be fine with them adding more green numbers in roulette, just cause they want to so they can make more from you. So they make more, and you have less chance to win.
Kinda weird take/logic.. from these huge companies you should always demand they be more consumer friendly
@@PMTCards so I agree completely, they need to be held accountable more than they are currently. They afterall are selling cardboard for hundreds and thousands of dollars. I think my take on ROI is more of how I frame it expectation wise when I rip wax. If I maintain almost no expectations, I can’t possibly get upset when I get 25% of my money back. If I go in expecting to get 125% ROI, meaning I make 25% on top of my money back, the likelihood of that happening is extremely low, even though we should as consumers of expensive products realistically expect to get a level of return on such speculative purchases.
Idk, I’m talking both sides because I myself am torn and don’t have a firm answer for others, I just know the way I operate and it works for me. Expect nothing, be pleasantly surprised when the returns are strong

@@coltscards1338 I didn’t buy it and it seems like many folks are doing the same which is encouraging. I haven’t seen a single box return more than the price tag. I’ve seen boxes which are right about at cost in value but those are very rare.
You realize he’s had some success with his channel, and as a result he does breaks to let people know what’s in these products right? Good, bad, or ugly, he’s always honest about whether or not a personal breaker should invest the big dollar in it.
@@jasonkibler9316 Comment was not directed negatively at RGL, it was directed at the crazy price that Fanatics is charging for this stuff and the little value that you can see people getting in these products. Singles are not keeping up with these price increases. Are there huge hits to be had that justify the price? Sure. Will these be pulled in his breaks? Probably, based on volume. Breakers already having trouble selling out the product on release day unfortunately is not the best sign going forward.
I wouldn't be involved in the hobby at all if I couldn't watch you rip this stuff because there is no way I would set money on fire like this the past 5 years

Despite the fact that he's not playing well at all right now, Evan Carter's prices still seem pretty decent. I saw that a regular refractor (/499) auto sold for $150 (only non-base auto sale I saw), so that one you pulled could be solid. 👍
Been a Topps defender, but these are absolutely brutal for $400+. Also why would anyone buy the breakers box for the same price over a jumbo and get 1 less auto?? 😅
Cause breakers delight is where Griffey and vet autos are at they are not in regular or Jumbo hobby

I think they put the numbers on the front for collectors who put their cards in books filling up the front and back pages. I actually like them on the front better.I would say that Sal Frelick is a top 10 autograph. I would have loved to pull that card from a jumbo hobby box.
My hobby box was pretty rough. Austin Wells base auto, Samad Taylor /299, Mike Yastrzemski /350, Shohei All Etch, Jackson Holliday base rookie...some cool inserts and I'm not disappointed in the buy but was hoping for a little more.

I will only buy blasters. So far I've bought 7 blasters and pulled 4#rd parallels and an autograph card. For the price compared to hobby and jumbos and breakers delights blasters are the way to go.

I'll stick with the series one and series two breaks for now. But Topps Chrome sure looks appealing when you hit the motherload and quite disappointing when you get scuffed!

i think topps has become too dependent on a high end chase with very few cards (griffey here, the brady in bowman draft, wemby/stroud in topps), and a whole lot of stuff that everyone will actually get at way too high a price.

For their return to UFC they put the serial numbers so awkwardly on the bottom just like these and it looks so out of place. Half the time it is outside of the bar they are on and looks goofy. I love the quality otherwise comparatively to Panini's horrible quality control!

I just finished watching 13 breaker delight cases. Not box’s. Cases. I saw one card that I would consider over 100 and the rest was hot garbage. There was one decent hit of a Langford Auto to 250. All in all an absolute waste of money. Worse odds than a slot machine 97% of the Autos were 10-20 dollar cards. No PC names either
I disagree! I prefer the serial numbers on the front. Put it above their name or something.
These boxes weren't the best but they weren't the worst next time will be better but you hid your disappointment very well it'll get better

what a huge loss not having Paul Skenes after you said that changed the video not worth watching if the best pitcher in forever isn't even in it.
