She is a decent singer for such a young girl - who probably is going off of natural talent and no lessons. Get that girl a vocal coach, and there just may be a Stranger Things Musical! Lol 😂 jk
To everyone saying she’s out of tune, yes she is but she is only 13 she was probably really nervous and she had to literally think of a song and just sing it without practice or a warm up. that’s pretty Impressive, I wouldn’t be able to do that!
+Henry Burris Auto-tune couldn't save this performance; the pitch problems are too extreme to be fixed by automatic correction. Even a live sound engineer, correcting her pitch in person by hand, would have had trouble getting this to sound like it's in-tune.
I don't like the way she sings, maybe it's the song because her voice is actually quite nice but I think it doesn't fit the song and much less in acapella. Just my opinion, she’s very talented and maybe trying another song rhythm she will sounds awesome.
How do people think this is good? She puts on an aggressive belting face singing low notes and she sings with too many annoying riffs and breaths in between. I am tired of this trend of girls putting on weird tones trying to sing like celebrators. Most of you would have fine voices if you just sang normally

Bee Musical training has nothing to do with singing on key; it's not a skill that you learn. For people who have a sense of pitch, hearing a performance like this is painful. If you think this was an excellent job, it says more about you than it does about her. You may think the sound of nails on a chalkboard (performed a capella! with no training!) sounds "excellent", but that's entirely your problem. Enjoy!
Go listen to the original. I don’t even know what key this in. It’s just so awkward. I’ve performed at Radio City music hall when I was 9 and I’ve seen over 30 broadway productions and preformed in broadway tours! This isn’t very good. She’s just very pushy in her voice and it sounds terrible. Just giving my two cents after years and years of preforming with broadway performers. People need to stop praising her because she’s not good. And her “me” at the end is so awkward!!!! And her riffs are bringing shame to this song from a beloved musical.

you don't need to be trained to sing well, it comes naturally. All training does is improve projection and breath control, but it won't fix her pitch.
