I believe it's a pretty great thing to see existing models getting a revision, and a upgrade with new parts, and updated electronics. That way, new shoppers can get the existing model, but it's updated from the previous version. I am definitely admiring the classic bronco. Is there any chance the classic will be done in different colors?
Looks nice but you should at least upgrade the motor to a 180 size. All my scx24's have that cheap budget upgrade and it makes a huge difference compared to the tiny factory motor.
i'm going to go out on a limb and say they gave it the downgrade of a V3 esc, and the marginally the same performance oil filled shocks, and call it "improved"
Great question. Up front there is a new body mount system. No body clips, no hook and loop, etc. The body securely snaps in place. Like all of the recently updated SCX24s, this new Bronco features oil-filled shocks, Spektrum 2-n-1 ESC/rec. (external ESC can be added), Spektrum SLT2 transmitter, and Spektrum battery and new USB charger. On top of that, there are three new colors. So, new body mount, improved bumper to body fit, new colors including the Heritage Edition, and Spektrum electronics. And, it's only $134
I really like mine. But I would like to see an lexan body. Maybe a clear version as a optional part. The oil-filled shocks're definitively a step in the right direction.
Cmon Axial time for a new platform. We are all capable of putting different bodies on our rcs. Since you were bought out it seems your innovation has taken a back seat.
Change more than a body and maybe more people who don't buy the latest one just to say yeah its what you would expect from a scx24 would purchase them. You have small brands dropping wayyyyy better deals than the garbage hardly changed since first released crap scx24
