It's great antil your on your 29th m4 cleaning then you wish for a time machine to transport back to the stone age stones are a lot easier to clean. All in all its a good MOS but don't think you'll be a gunsmith you're more a parts replacer but it does give you a decent base and a paycheck while doing it.
I passed my picat now I have to take the verification test along with the physical at meps. If everything goes well I plan on just getting side jobs as security. Easy pay for just patrolling an area.
Working towards this. Tryna ship to basic at age 27 this coming January. Hoping this and my civilian career for assembly, maintenance, and Calibration can carry over
Coming from USMC I want this MOS bad. I went in and out of the armory often and loved everything about their job, early/late hours doesn't bother me, I can sit there cleaning weapons and referencing TMs to do gauge checks forever. Dream job
I was 91f it was exciting to learn if you sign for this learn everything you can about the 777. Cause you will learn the parts but won't get to actually try to fix it like everything else. And a good tip be prepared to find pins and springs smaller than a sewing needle.. the only way to find it/they make your stomach touch the floor
@@AnthonyHow94 not even that bro. Mostly just a contractor FOR the government. One of my guys checked up on what a 91fox can be after they get out was a nurse assistant. For gunsmiths or gunsmithing, they know a whole lot more than a 91fox does. Literally a lot more. What our job is, is to repair the fire arm given to the basic soldier. That means the not so fancy and barely standard m4, not to give it shade but compared to civilian AR's it shows. For 91 fox that work closely with special forces it is different for obvious reasons. For the manufacture of weapons, say working for any company that produces fire arms, yeah, they'll most likely accept you because 1 is obviously that you worked with weapons, and 2 you worked with the military, the major customer.
