Listening to Sleboda is a treat
He provides a healthy dose of realism, and a perspective often missing in the pro Russia sphere... namely that the war is ongoing, and that Russia, facing as it does the combined effort of the collective west, has not yet secured victory. The AFU are still fighting and it appears are now armed with new and improved FPV drones, not to mention F16 fighter jets to further complicate things for the Russian army. Russia may be winning and will almost certainly defeat the Ukies but final victory still appears quite distant.

Mark is a great analyst that l learn alot from, but he does NOT understand the Trump phenomenon at all. Which probably means he doesn't understand the power of the FU vote, nor does he understand Trump's sense of humor. He was talking about NATO countries shoving as many weapons into Ukraine to fight against Russia, just as they have done in Taiwan, China to eventually fight against Mainland China. He was simply using Taiwan, China as an analogy for what they have also done in Ukraine.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.

NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).
We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.

There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.

Great live with Mark, as usual! I think Mark's skepticism in assessing the military & geopolitical situation in Russia-West (viaUkraine as a proxy) conflict is healthy & necessary. Arguably this is the same approach shared by Putin and those in the Russian government: be grounded & expect the worst, knowing the type of neighbours you have. The West is unlikely to ever back down from attempting to bring Russia down, or better yet breaking it apart & getting control of all its riches, as they hope. Century after century they've been invading Russia, killing its people, devouring its riches and it's never been enough. They're like a golden antelope from the famous Russian cartoon about the Indian maharaja (I think based on Kipling's book) who, having caught a golden antelope, able to produce golden coins with her hooves, warns maharaja that if he asks her to stop, all the gold will turn into rubble. He promises her he won't ask her to stop, until he finds himself getting buried under the amount of coins and once he asks her to stop, all the gold turns into some black rubble that buries him underneath its weight. Thus he dies because of his own greed.

Dear humanitarians, we are living in a dangerous world, and it is time for rational people to see what really is going on in Ukraine. I am fully aware of the humanitarian disaster going on there. I have lived in Kiev and Odessa and have close friends there.
It is astonishing listening to main stream media in Europe and US. Everyone seems to have forgotten or don’t want to understand the background for this war:
No fulfilments of Minsk 1 and Minsk 2 agreement, EU and US early promises not to expand Eastwards towards the disintegrated Soviet Union, Russia’s right to claim their military security area ( compare the Cuba crisis in 1962), Putin’s continuously warnings for the last 9 years to US, Europe and to the rest of the world that Ukraine is the point of no return regarding NATOs expansion Eastward.
All parties now behave like lemmings running over the cliff. Glady forgetting all the horrible unprovoked wars US has started the last 15 years… without sanctions: War in Afghanistan , Yemen Iraq War, War in North-West Pakistan, Somali Civil War, Operation Ocean Shield, Libya, Operation Observant Compass Uganda, intervention in Iraq, intervention in Syria, American intervention in Libya.
If we have had common sense and seen the reality as it now happens to be. We should not have encouraged the Ukrainians to commit collective suicide, by giving them more arms. All talk about heroism is complete madness and can only be articulated by people without common sense. There is no return to normal. Russia is committed to demilitarize Ukraine as above, we like it or not. If I have been Ursula von der Leyen I should have taken the first plane to Ukraine an told Mr. Volodymyr Oleksandrovytj Zelenskyj to surrender as quick as possible. Hundted of thousands of people and infrastructure are now at stake.... totally in in vain. Mr. Zelenskyj don't understand, maybe now, that he has been fooled on all levels.
There is only one winner here…the US:
1. as NATO now has been a necessity all over Europe as each country now is prepared to pay US for deploying US strategic weapons on their respective territory, pointing Eastward.
2. US has at last been able to distance Germany from Russia
3. US can now sell expensive gas, oil and weapons to Europe.
4. The whole world is no crying for more sanctions that can be a double sword.
To sum up: the big losers are the Ukraine people. They were told lays from day one when US promised NATO membership and EU promised EU membership by EU Ursula von der Leyen. Nothing vill be implemented … but they believed that ….
Sorry my dear Ukraine. I am crying tears. You are just a little brick in the big game, but no one dear to tell you.

Slowly, slowly each individual country now realises the complete disaster for the EU industries and the lack of gas to heat homes do to the shortage of oil/gas.

I wonder what Mark thinks is going to happens In Kaliningrad, if there is a conventional war between Russia and NATO in Ukraine .Will Nato countries impose total blockade and then try to occupy quickly Kaliningrad .Will Russia retaliate from there by striking Nato countries infrastructure and concentration of troops or even use tactical nuclear weapons to prevent total defeat there .Or will they try to create a corridor between Belarus and Kaliningrad to supply Kaliningrad .
