just picked one up , bone stock, runs , i rebuilt carbs, bottle fed it some gas, started even without vac. advance. thanks to you i now know where to plug it in. hose was disconnected when i picked it up. bet it runs better now. 17000 mi. on this one ! thanks again.
Thank God man. I have a 79 and it isn't as bad as yours. But it was garage kept all its life. But finding someone that knows how to work on them is aggravating. I've had mine in for an oil drip 3x's and they still can't find it, cause they either don't want to or don't know how to find it for some reason. But I'm looking forward to more videos. I also had a new full carb rebuild on mine.

I just bought one of these bikes an 80 1100 xs. 35000 km up here in Canada 700 bucks. Same thing carbs are fucked I pulled them and giving a complete soak in my ultrasonic tank hopefully that cures up the issue with the carbs. I only had 1 float completely stuck

It runs but i think it has a hurt intake valve. I will be working on it soon to find out.

Depends but about $1000 to $3500 depending on condition of course. Or basically whatever someone will pay haha
Pulling the carbs off is a pain.
