I had so many issues with the confidence interval in Megastat, BUT I solved it! If you get an error message, try changing the confidence interval from '95%' to one of these: '0,95' '0.95' '95' removing the '%'-sign made mine work (after hours of pulling hair out and screaming at Excel)

I am trying to create a Confidence Interval Estimate for the proportion in Megastat. I don't have data listed as you do on this excel spreadsheet. I am thumbing around on my megastat software and am confused with the icons identified for the blocks to fill. Some have "E", but I don't necessarily have a mean to work with. Any tips?

You can find it on McGraw-Hill's higher education website: highered.mheducation.com/sites/0077425995/information_center_view0/index.html
