If you could explain the symbols with the help of a jeppesen chart ,it would be beneficial . Also wanted to know how is the naming of the mandatory reporting points is undertaken.
Thankew Captain for the basic knowledge , appreciate it , can u please explain - which ATC or tower to contact when you are flying from one destination to other ,, based upon your FL considering the semi-circular rule as well , I am not able to figure out that we have to contact APP or ACC It would be a great help if you could do so , I am appearing for Delhi attempt scheduled in October '17
Generally on the charts they write level jurisdiction is with which frequency. Say FL150-285 is with this frequency then FL285-FL400 is with this frequency. But in real time scenario, nobody is bothered about this because each time there is a requirement to change frequency it is told by the controller for the handover.
Hi, thank you so much for the video. Could you please post more videos on RTR chart reading. Like the questions asked in exam VABB to VECC and read the entire map. It would be really helpful and thank you once again :)

I don't think I could spot any uncontrolled airspace on this one. But one thing I just spotted is, the VOR 175 left of BIA. This one is a restricted zone and is designated by numbers. It could be an Air Force area or any defense installation. They might have time restrictions, altitude restrictions etc. This will be mentioned in the AIP or the NOTAMS.

Noted. Naming has to have two vowels. That's it. Rest anything to make it pronounce.
Ok thanks a lot

Yes primarily it is Datalink-ATIS via the ACARS, also interchangeable with Digital-ATIS which also means the same. Thanks anyway.
