Hi Vince! I love your videos/reviews. I am thrilled that you did some Wolverine test drives. I like to do some of the same riding in similar areas to what you do in West TN, but with less mud :). Based on your videos and the fact I have always owned Honda ATVs, I had decided that I wanted a P500. So I went to my local dealer, you are too far away unfortunately :(, and drove it around in the parking lot. I wasn't too thrilled with it. While I was there, I also drove the Wolverine R Spec EPS and I liked it quite a bit better. Now to put you on the spot, if you had the option to pick either one, Honda P500 or the Wolverine, for the same amount of money, which would you pick?
Awesome! Thank you for your comment, means a lot. Hey, you'll love that P5, I can't wait to get mine back up and running. Hey, if you ever have any questions about it let me know. Thanks again!
Hmmm, kind of tough choice. But I would have to go with the Pioneer 500, simply because of all the miles, and rough rides I've put her through. The Wolverine is more comfortable and has way more features, it's a great machine, it's just the P5 fits my riding style more than the Wolverine.
Thanks for the response! I will definitely have to give it another look. Any problem with seat heat? You and I are on similar latitudes so we probably have to deal with the same wonderfully humid high temperatures in the summer months :) and I know the P500 has a center mounted engine. Is it noticeably hot?
Nice dude, been checking out some of your stuff, I gave this here vid a like! You doing ok today? I myself do vlogs, if you like such things, I'm trying to be fairly consistent with putting them out. They're here if you like funny things: th-cam.com/users/M3GreatRiffs Keep up the good work!
i have the same yamaha wolverine and i love it alought but sometimes it hops out of low gear any ideas of what it is?
Casey Bowles nah, haven't heard of that, but sounds like you need linkage adjustment.
Ok thank you alought I'll look into that
nah, no issues with heat at all, can be a bit noisy at high rpms that's all. just make sure you test drive them both to be sure of what you like.
Is this louder than the 700 Pioneer? I'd like something a little quieter next time around.
YEA, THE HONDAS ARE MUCH QUIETER, BUT THESE ARE MORE FUN

So you would choose the P500 over the Wolverine for the same price?
