I like the Correct floor boards yet a mousetrap setup for easier riding , no out of place looking modern parts used . Cool idea on the headlight wish I had thought of that before ! Excellent Job ! The frame is a 41-46 knucklehead frame. The fork is a WL 45 which has a 7/8" stem vs the big twin 1" stem. We use a neck cup conversion kit to mate the two.

Too bad the butchered a set of original hard to find tanks... WL springer lowers bike a bit had one on a pan/shovel gotta use the thru the frame exhaust or you'll crunch pipes... nice bike needs a suicide shift though IMO
Yeah. Actually we wouldn't butcher a set of cherry or decent original tanks. These were Ebay bondo specials that were pretty rough.Once you cut the back off, they are easy to work the dents and require a minimum of filler to get them straight. The repro WR tanks have come down in price but need mods to clear the heads on overhead valve motors. Easier than narrowing big twin tanks though. I think 45parts.eu has WR tanks for big twin motors but I haven't seen a set yet.
