- Early July 2020 we made a road trip with our VW California through the Swiss high mountains. This tour brought us to several interesting and at times spectacular locations.

Mein Gott wie schön ist die Schweiz, glücklich sind die, die dort leben dürfen. Ich als Deutscher kann mir nach 30 Jahren Euro und Geldentwertung die Schweiz nicht mehr leisten. Ich träume noch von den Zeiten als ich dort meine IT-Prjekte betreut habe.

I watch a lot of camper channels and you have just blown me away, this is beautiful cinematography, so rare in campervan circles and made with such skill and dedication. I’ve been on some road trips from Sheffield to Rome, & Venice but that look amazing!!!! I’m currently trying to save for a caravan but not having much luck with what’s going on in the world take care and happy travels

Hello just started watching your vlogs very enjoyable, my wife and I have motorhomed in Switzerland on a few occasions, mt titlis, luzern etc, but the route you just posted looked fantastic, we're in annecy in April so will probably incorporate much of that route, keep the vlogs coming, Ann/Steve uk

Such a year it has been. I never dreamed I would spend my 73rd year mostly in my house waiting for this Pandemic to go away! What a waste! I have a new to me VW Vanagon and lots of places I’d love to see but I’ve had to stick to the area near my house, walking local trails and riding my motorcycle instead of traveling the USA.
I hope you stay well and the Covid troubles in theEurozone diminish in time. Happy life and hoping for a better year in 2021
The Alps look so YOUNG! our mountains in Tennessee are covered in Forest and dirt while the alps look to be a single solid rock.
I read somewhere that the water impoundments that were built after WWII are one of the reasons that climate change isn’t as advanced as it could be. The lakes created reflect the sun and limit the heat retained by the earth. Maybe we need more of them?

Can I ask what make are your camping chairs and do they fit in the tail of the van as the VW supplied ones do ? Love following you great trips. Thanks Mouse the VW Ocean Scotland
Hello! These camping chairs do not fit in the tail, we put them on top of the bedding and mattress in the trunk. As they are more comfortable than the original chairs, we take them on longer trips. In the storage place of the original chairs we put some other stuff. Best regards!
I enjoyed your video but I have a question for you: could a motorhome of 6,99 metres drive in all the streets you run? I mean, we prefere to choice mountains for our vacancies and would love to go in all the places you filmed, but may be we couldn't make your trip..
Thank you for your reaction and appreciation. We did indeed see large motorhomes in the places we visited. But a lot depends on your personal preference and experience to drive on narrow and winding mountain roads with a larger vehicle. Best regards, safe travels!

Dear Martin, thank you for your comment. Video's are edited in Final Cut Pro on iMac. A list of the gear we use is in the description of the video. Most of the time we use a GoPro for the footage. Best regards!
