Been at Ministry of Crab last year - excellent food and great atmosphere. Was treated like a king. Can't wait to get back to SL after travel restrictions are lifted.

At first I thought Danu's arrogant, but as i kept on watching he's quite the host with a very cheerful disposition. He's 100% organic & this episode was fun to watch. I wish Danu and his team all the best. And of course a big shoutout to Chef Dharshan & MoC team. With love from India.

Agreed 😊. However, the Ministry of crab experience is one those indulgences that cant be missed, when traveling to Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan lagoon crab is one of a kind.
Just Like Any High End Restaurant in the World! you cant maintain this quality and price it affordable! its normal!

I had a friend who used to work there . He gave me the recipes for crab dishes. Adding lots of garlics is the key!!!!
High time you did visit Dhannu!! Should be Michelin Rated! ⭐️🥇⭐️🎖⭐️ One thing that has left in my mouth the strong taste that still devours is eating Singapore Chili Crabs, growing up! ( was it with Flower Drums, the Chinese restaurant before the round about of Havekock and Bullers Roads when they first launched! I hope you have it on the menu Dharshan! Clever move to cater to the locals during the Pandemic doing Crab Biriyani! 👌🏼

Dhanu, your excitement towards that divine plate of edible excellence made me salivate. 😅. Met Dharshan in 2018, he was such a gentleman and highly knowledgeable.( of course right 😌)
That Coconut Creme Brulee baked in a halved coconut is the epitome of creativity. 🙌.
BTW, Dhanu, episodes of this nature, is pure torture, to those of us who dont have access to food of this nature.🥰

Well, People need to eat to survive.... Animal sources are cheap and rich in nutrition..... So we have to kill animals..... I am also against cruelty against animals..... But hunger within a society is more pressing problem than this.
@@r.s.i8753 You seems lacking bit of knowledge around eating animals. First you can't be against animal cruelty when you eat animals/pay to kill someone. Secondly no one dies from not eating animals in fact people become healthier. We are not living in a survival situation where we have to kill to survive. Please do some Google search on why demand for plant based food is going higher in the world.

@@yashodhamahasinghe212 Let's be kind to each other. I once was blinded as well by what society teach us because certain industries needs to keep going. For example I really didn't see the problem with we humans are the only species who drinks milk as adults that also from another species. But as I start doing my research, people who actually consume more dairy prone to bone illnesses but the marketing goes other way round. It's all part of the learning and how much we willing to change ourselves for better.

Thumbnail is very saddening to see how insensitive we have become. Someone's hands and legs are tied until boil them alive and that's someone who can feel just like us? Karma is there for a reason and incase one is wondering why some people born under privileged that's because how they had used their privileges in past. Definitely not looking forward to step into this place and no regrets about missing out on participating in boiling someone alive.

Same I have heard this exact story from a lot of people in Colombo about this restaurant. It’s sad to see money been made by killing hundreds of crabs this way every week. It’s too late now. But karma comes to haunt in this human life and it may take very personal things of their lives.
