- Freddy has had no human contact for years and today he needed a bath before he goes into surgery to remove that tumour. Everything is new for him and he really struggles, but even so he must feel more comfortable now, and it shows! Freddie is now a member of our family, and he will get the very best veterinary care before getting him used to being with people who love him!

I think that Freddy has escaped into a different realm. He is so traumatized that he is in zombie state of mind. Pulling on his fur must hurt like crazy. Why not just shave it all off? When the water was turned on, Freddy came back to earth though. This dear gentleman put so much love behind the washing of the dog that when he was drying the dog, the dog started to smile. All I can say with confident is' You guys rock. Thank you so so much.

Freddie is such a sweetheart on so many levels, I have no words. Humans just don't deserve dogs. Not all humans, of course, but you know what I mean. ♥️♥️♥️

For Freddie’s first bath, he did well. Getting that under coat cleaned up must’ve been a chore for the guy, I think Freddie actually enjoyed being groomed, it must’ve felt so good to him. Never interacting with human in this manner, overcoming his fears. Freddie ❤you, you will learn to trust, not all humans are A-holes. Thanks Victor for being there for Freddie.

Freddie is truly beautiful... truly beautiful. I cannot believe just how well behaved he was during his grooming. There will be no stopping him once he trusts and I think he will.. I hope he will.
You could see him start to feel less afraid during his bath and even take notice of his surroundings-sniff something ahead of him so being slightly less anxious. He probably started to feel better and enjoy the warm water. It will take time but I'm sure he will soon be more trusting of humans and less shut down. I'm so glad he gets the chance to be a dog again and eventually enjoy life the way he thoroughly deserves to

Poor guy at the beginning he looked like a traumatized child that escaped in his mind to another place. With the life he had it 💔to think what would that place have been. Wow!! Freddie was amazing! He looks like he loved his bath even though he was afraid. I wish my dogs had his temperament! I have two that absolutely lose it when they see scissors, much less clippers! Freddie handled it like a champ!! You can just look at his eyes and see how loving ❤ he will be after he realizes that nobody is going to hurt him! He is so so beautiful 😍 Good luck, Freddie!!

What a beautiful, gentle boy. I am sure he did enjoy the grooming, even though he may have been so scared. One step at a time and he will definitely come out of his shell to realise that not all humans are monsters. He will learn to walk like a good boy on the lead eventually. ❤❤

That groomer is wonderful❣️ He certainly knows his stuff and is so kind and caring. I always feel happy after the dogs have been groomed, and to see Freddie a lot happier and relaxed is heartwarming. He did great with his first bath.
It's the start of a long rehabilitation process of both the body and Freddie's mind with being so scared of any interaction.

Freddie is an Angel dog. His charming lovely character, after all his terrible isolation, being left all by himself, so many years, and letting help him from you all wonderful people, is for me like mystic.

Freddie is more scared than Maja was. I can't understand why animals are allowed by law to be treated like they where. He is a beautiful dog and he is going to have the best life now.

Poor Freddie! He is so terrified that he barely looks at what is being done to him and never even tries to bite. He is a beautiful dog both physically and in temperament. I am a groomer and I was amazed at how well Freddie did. Yes he was scared however he was so good. He must have enjoyed the contact from a caring human. He’s going to do great. So sad to think about all the cruelty that is and has been going on forever. Dogs and cats chained, beaten and left to fend for themselves. People can be so beyond cruel but then there are people like you who really care, love and give these wonderful beings a second chance at life. Thank you everyday for all you do. Blessings and love ❤

Freddie is beautiful. I have three dogs and three cats. I also foster dogs and try to find them good homes. My dogs help the foster dogs socialize and get comfortable with humans. I am in New York and the foster dogs I get are usually from the southern states that they bring up North in huge trucks so the dogs have a chance and not end up in kill centers in the South. I usually foster two to three dogs each year. I have always found them good homes and the new owners send me updates. Freddie will find a beautiful family to adopt him. I hoped Bruno would end up near me in Albany New York but I see that did not work out. I am sure Bruno will be happy in a home in Europe.
He's beautiful. He was terrified, but once in the bath, he was calm and just let it all happen. Even the groomer was impressed
