I LOVE this idea! Go for it! I don't think anyone should complain about realism with this game, as (a) it's a game, but also (b) realism aficionados at least from my experience are either Silv or don't finish their own work because they're too perfectionist to complete something. Half the fun of the creative experience is the creative part. Also, right now, after everything D23, I feel you on having the inspiration, and that's why I just love this concept. The "what if" parks, the "never built" parks, the "graveyard" parks, and the just lightly inspired parks (which is kindof what you're going after, I guess). From what you've showcased, I think it is a really great idea to just tinker around with and share your experience. It'll help us learn things, too, which is something that that fear of realism really needs: to learn through the creative experience.
Mini model scale of Disneyland seems perfect for Parkitect. I am not expecting accuracy especially in Parkitect, the toy model aspect of the game is why I love it. Full scale and accurate would be difficult for guests in the game anyway considering movement, logistics, and the scale of attractions. Also your idealized 2005 Disneyland sounds wonderful lmao!! I don’t think of galaxy’s edge when I think of Disneyland. Very excited for this. It would be amazing if we were able to play the final park from the workshop!

Love love love the concept of this and having a consistent style and reasoning behind a build often turns out way better than something that tries for strict “realism” Also as someone who has only been to Disney world and not Disney land, I’m surprised on just how dense and small Disneyland is compared to its Floridian counterpart.
As someone who did recreations of Disneyland in RCT1 and RCT2 (and have been itching to do it in Parkitect) I absolutely adore your direction! I actually appreciate you doing it in vanilla. It allows you to do a more artistic take on it (like you're doing).

Which mod or mods do you consider essential (must have) for add at the game for all time? it can be new calm rides, rides, new rollercoasters, new coaster cars, other cars, assets packs (ex: foliage pack, future and space..etc) or only will add anarchy mods thanks
Could you, after this series/project is over, look into recreating or even creating your own Busch Gardens? The one in VA is European themed and the one in FL is African themed. So maybe a recreation or a completely original Busch Gardens Park based on South America, Asia, or Oceania.
