I fully agree with your observation. It is beyond me to think the forensic department released the report without DNA analysis. Very little semen/tissue/hair sample is required to confirm if one or more than one is involved in this heinous crime.

This is so painful to hear- it confirmed that the autopsy was done hurriedly by a non expert. An expert will still use the correct terms and method regardless. We have these cases occurring every hour and still the state refuses to follow the necessary protocols of preserving crime scene, preserving organs and samples, documenting findings- the least they can do is carry out the autopsy well so that the victim can get justice. She was one of them- the medical team running the autopsy should have been respectful of that.

Samples have to be collected and preserved, sealed and sent for analysis, all this is to be done systematically and carefully so that there is no tampering. The easiest way to blotch the investigation is to send insufficient samples, improperly sealed samples or improperly preserved samples. Even if the postmortem is done by an inexperienced doctor, the rest of the staff know the routine procedures and usually do it accordingly, unless of course someone had to hide something
