Lads, if you want to experience this scene even better. Watch it with either siinamota - Young Girl A or KENTENSHI - paranoia (remix). It hits so much harder if you do
The one vid that perfectly synced it with “The world caves in” actually made me tear up
@@demo_AAA yeah, the version with that song is pretty effective too.
rip powapowa...
DBZA's depiction is also incredible. I know they are a parody, but they keep certain serious moments like these intact, and this scene was amazing in their depiction.
or my way
genuinely that last desperate kamehameha was one of the best changes DBZ Kakarot did to the story in this one. That was so cool when you first saw it
Yeah, there's so many people who agree that this scene is so much better than the original one.
It's so damn cool. Like, it does make sense that they wanted to show how unstoppable the androids were in the original Future Trunks special by having them just completely dosassemble him, but having Gohan give it absolutely everything he has and it's still not enough - chills, literal chills.
Plus it's a one armed Kamehameha. That honestly should have been in the anime to parallel present Gohan winning with his own one armed Kamehameha.
@@alexmartin6561This. I like to think that if future Gohan had had the support of his father (instead of him dying from the virus) he would’ve been able to beat the androids
@@buttnuttz6119 Most likely. As Goku probably would have caught on to the fact that Future Gohan could potentially achieve Super Saiyan 2, just like in the "main" timeline, and in doing so would be able to help Future Gohan achieve Super Saiyan 2 and possibly also help Trunks achieve Super Saiyan much earlier. And then SS2 Future Gohan would have made the Future Androids look like Saibamen by comparison. Though I get the feeling that if he'd achieved SS2 and thus had both Androids severely outmatched no matter what, he may have given them one chance to "atone" (that they'd likely squander and get vaporized by Future Gohan for it) in the hope that there might be some chance of redeeming them. But the Future Androids are so vile that I doubt there'd even be anything in them _to_ redeem in the first place.
The best feeling, was when Trunks goes back to his timeline, and wipes the floor with those two.
Even better with how genuinely fucking terrified they are too
Trunks : this is for gohan!!!! Rahhhh!!!!
*Blast 18 to smithereens*
_"I HATE YOU!"_
_"You hate the fact that you're powerless to stop me. That you're completely outmatched. Well, imagine feeling the way you do now _*_all_*_ of the time, like the people of this planet do. Fools! How do you think my master Gohan felt when you ganged up on him in the rain and he had no way out? Well, now it's _*_your_*_ turn. I hope you enjoy it."_
i kinda have mixed feelings about it... seeing how they turned out in the other timeline.
@@cloudunderweather9554 Me too, but seeing the destruction they've caused simply because they never got 16 as a moral compass and Cell to humble them, I feel like they deserve such fate. The artificial humans from the present timeline were thoroughly different simply because of 16 and Cell.
The saddest part of Future Gohan's death is unlike the other grand ways characters have gone out in this series like Goku sacrificing himself to teleport Cell away or Vegeta's final atonement, Gohan is viciously blasted and dies face down in a puddle
I mean Vegeta died to Frieza in Namek and Frieza mocked the sht out of him
if you really think about it, Gohan died face up, and Trunks found him face down in a puddle. Meaning that the androids might have fcked around with his corpse after he was dead. That is sad af man
in the manga it even worst he get killed by #17 in 1vs1 and off screen .Plus when #17 tell him he not even at 50% of his power Gohan do like Bejita vs Frieza and revert to his base form knowing he cannot beat them.
@@CyclopsPhucLeMan, now you make me feel bad for calling him Puddlehan
@@CabstheKris And all because Goku thought he had it.
It's hard to believe they made Future Gohan's death feel even more hopeless in this game. You never get a see a hero's last ditch effort attack get overpowered so easily like that
Funnily enough, it kind of happened that way in the manga. They literally told Gohan that every time they fought, they were holding back, like they were playing with them.
Bardock got obliterated by Frieza's one single attack
@@BullyMaguireTheAbsolute this isn't about him rn

"Can't you take a joke?" -Krillin, DBZA
Just like Gogeta, Future Gohan is literally one of those characters where they don't get enough screentime but are still hyped by the fanbase. He'll always be the goat in any game.
Yeah, Future Gohan is just one of the best character. I think them not having the dragon balls anymore in that timeline is the reason why deaths in it have so much more impact.
@AmekiClips even though his father and teacher (and everyone else) died, he still managed to keep going and fight for his future. He survived countless assaults from the Androids so it makes you feel like he can't die. It makes you feel like his will is as tough as iron. It makes you feel like he's invincible. Even with his left arm lost, he still wanted to make a final stand for his world. And even when the androids finally managed to end him, he passed his will on to someone who can rise in his stead. someone strong enough to take his place. Someone that can beat the Future Androids. And of course, that "someone" is Trunks, the person Gohan has been teaching. The same way how Piccolo was teaching Gohan how to fight. Gohan always wanted to defy the inevitable. And that "inevitable" is the androids destroying him (and his world) in his final moments. No matter how much he struggled, he still wanted to put an end to 17 and 18. History of Trunks special will always be peak fiction.
@@AmekiClips Sounds pretty dragon ball gt-ish too. Makes sense why their deaths are popular
@@AmekiClipsYeah after watching many clips of Pekora's playthrough I remembered once again just how good Dragon Ball's deaths are, it's a shame they don't matter much at the end of they day cause they revive
@@PrixtoTNT Yeah, I think it's why the "you can be revived only once" rule was a good one.
Thus why Krillin being killed by Frieza caused Goku to go SSJ. Since at this point in time they thought he could not longer be revived.
fuck it's been 2 decades and I still teared up, and Pekora didn't help stop the tears
Kakarot made an incredibly sad thing even sadder with the new animation him losing the beam clash
@@roycemcmahan8914 yeah, the new animation made it go over 9000.
It has actually been 3 decades I belive
@@roycemcmahan8914 What makes it extra sad for me is that it's the reverse mirror of what Present Gohan went through with Cell. Both only can use one arm, but Present Gohan succeeds with the love of his father, Future Gohan fails without that extra love from his father since he died to that heart virus long ago.
I agree with ya. And the fact that playing as Future Gohan and helplessly watch Gohan getting beat up is making it even sadder. Darn you, *Kakarot* for playing with my emotions. 😢
Just a somber reminder that this is the "real" timeline and the Dragonball with Cell and Buu is the "altered" timeline.....
DAMN YOU RIGHT ASF, THAT'S CRAZY THINKING ABOUT IT NOW
I'm not gonna lie, part of me hates Dragon Ball when I think about this. Like poor Gohan, his entire life just fighting, pain and misery. This is what it all amounts to, him face down in a puddle. I don't give a shit if Trunks needed the push, Future Goahn deserved happiness!
Indeed, the original timeline is FuBaR (for no reason). Main timeline is the altered one.
Reading up on the timeline in Dragonball, Future Trunk's (the one we know) isn't really the "original" timeline. There is no concert evidence on which is the original timeline. It can be argued that the timeline cell came from could be the original or we just haven't seen the Trunks from the Original timeline.
@@Hitoshuratdn >not the original
The one the first Future Trunks came from is. It is just mistaken to consider canon then go on to say that the others he makes/returns to/leaves from would be that same one. It remains the case the original is SoL.
Honestly, being Future Trunks is just pain.
He experiences all the worst endings, just to go back and help the heroes avoid it.
Curse you, multiverse theory!
Hope whatever timeline he and Mai live in now is a happier one.

Future Gohan and Future Trunks are some of the best DragonBall characters. The two different timelines are such good what if stories for if Trunks didn't intervene in the main timeline.
Not really. Because then we'd just have the original timeline, Trunks' history. Lol
Man they did him clean, I like that he got a last last stance, I like that they mirrored regular Gohan's 1 hand Kamehameha, it's so good
"So this is how I die... One arm down and killed by an Android. Huh, why does this feel oddly familiar?"

@@yaboi4408”Grit your teeth.. and EAT. THAT. HORSE!”
It literally never occurred to me that Future Gohan has only one arm and Gohan finishes the Cell fight with a broken arm. It's even the same arm!
When Pekora is angry, war crimes are battle strats
As the great hockey loving nation of Canada always says..."Its not a war crime the first time"
If you didn't know Canada is the reason for a lot of things in the Geneva Convention...Like how they baited in starving Germans with cans of food and then threw grenades at them...or how they were at one point incapable of accepting any prisoners of war so instead they executed them...or how they were TERRIFYINGLY EFFICIENT at trench warfare...yeah when Canada stops playing nice its scary...
I swear each new iteration of this scene tries to soften the blow a little more.
Manga: #17 takes Gohan out on his own, without even using 50% of his power
Anime: It takes both Androids to take him down
Xenoverse: Gohan goes into that battle knowing full well what fate lies in store for him, without any regrets
Kakarot: He gets one final defiant Kamehameha off at the Androids before they overwhelm him.
Watching Pekora experience this for the first time brought back a lot of memories. Toriyama really knew how to pull at your heartstrings when he wanted to.
Koyama and the boys have a heavy hand in these things, actually. AT didn't like telling dark stories in serious fashion. He said himself he could never tell it this way (same for Bardock **and Broly**). Toei fumbles the bags at times, but can enhance even beyond the source, too. Having everyone remember their connection to Goku while helping with Cell was far better than in the manga (only Vegeta jumps in). Kondo pushed to go this angle. Before him, Torishima. DB itself was a proposal of AT's wife. Think of the culmination as a collab.
Whether you agree with his methods or not, this scene always shows me why Trunks is not about making fights last longer or getting stronger. Trunks just gets things done.
>just gets things done
Not entirely true. He does better than the others, at least (especially in canon). In the anime he was a goof with the USS G3 debacle, but in terms of not doing things when he had the chance to, the biggest standout by far is having 18 dead to rights and just telling her to clear out. In canon he fails to at least use USS to blow off his father and quickly take out Cell. That's an L (on him). With PLs and thresholds for planet busting so low, a moment of play is all it takes (as RoF demonstrates). Just briefly toying and talking (and he did) with the borgs was putting his world at stake. But as said at the start. He's just better than the rest (by far).
Nobody is truly spotless for bad calls (like giving up and asking for death rather than trying to his last breath or attempting to escape to make another attempt). Somehow he heard about FPSS and seemingly made no effort to do the same. Saw SS2 and didn't work towards achieving it (in canon). Granted, it is far more than he needs for his prey (before future events are considered). As for methods, he had done well going down the Nappa route to repopulate Earth with powerful hybrids (if not pulling strings to rehab 18 even knowing just the little he did about them not being all bad in different circumstances). Being the lone protector is real cool and all, but when he dies of old age (and he will), Earth is SoL. It isn't like he sought immortality for himself (becoming the Eternal Champion).
Kakarot does a very good job retelling these stories. I like this version better than the original anime with Gohan using the one arm kamehameha like he did against Cell but wasn't enough this time. Also, I love the added touch of Gohan screaming in the end because 17 was making a big deal in their last fight how they didn't get him because he didn't hear any screaming, so the screaming lets you know this is not a drill, it's truly Gohan's end.
2:02 dude, I can't tell you how much I love this part. *You know how symbolic this makes the Last Stand between Cell???* this is art. Even when I know what's going to happen, I'm still jumping out of my seat screaming Gohan!!!!!
Gohan fought as a kid and finished it as a man, what a chad
Randomly popped up on my feed. Not even in to v tubers but seeing a person experience dbz for first time genuinely makes my heart happy

To paraphrase a well-known Spanish meme: ''Yo no moriré, no importa que mi cuerpo sea destruido por completo. Mis deseos de pelear me levantarán porque son muy grandes. Y después de eso, les derrotaré pase lo que pase.'' (play Young Girl A in the background for more accuracy).
Any chance you could translate that into English for people who don't know Spanish? :P
@@gamester512 Basically, it says: "I will not die, no matter if my body's completely destroyed. My desire to fight will get me up again with how big it is. And after that, I'll defeat you no matter what."
@@midfory2074 Cool, thanks! :) I took Spanish in my Senior year of High School, but since I never really had to use it after graduation, I've long since forgotten about 95% of it over the past 20 or so years. :P
Ah, yes... The Latin dub... Thank you for this callback, raza. Such a beautiful moment, despite the hopelessness that is.
Kinda similar to what Gohan says at the start of this fight:
"You can't defeat me. Not what I really am. Even if you destroy this body, someone stronger will take my place. And when that happens, not a single life will be left unaccounted for. NOT ONE!"
Everyone is making so many references to it that I ended up going back to watching some of TFS's DBZ Abridged videos.
This is one of the few arcs the anime does better than the manga. It hits so much harder seeing Trunks turn super saiyan for the first time after finding Gohan like that.
I wish the show explored a little bit more Trunks' relationship with main timeline Gohan, how weird it must've been for him being older than who essentially acted as his older brother in his future. How relieved he must've been after knowing Gohan not only beat Cell but became so much stronger during. Knowing that Gohan would have a peaceful life.
Yeah, I'm sure there's a lot of people who would pay good money to have a whole series following Future Trunks. I'm of course not talking about the Heroes series.
@@AmekiClipsCanonwise that won't be explored much as it gives that Terminator vibe Toriyama so wanted.
There's many What ifs with Future Gohan and with Heroes which is Canon with the games but not the Anime or Manga. Future Gohan Black is the ever closest thing he'll ever get more screentime for Future Gohan sadly.
DBS goes into it somewhat although by that point both of them are adults. Trunks is still the older one of the two but I doubt that thought really cemented itself in his mind since Gohan has fully matured physically. Trunks was surprised to see that Gohan, a warrior with overwhelming power the last time time Trunks saw Gohan as a child, had become such chill and relaxed guy. However, upon seeing how genuinely happy Gohan was with his current life it helped Trunks steel his resolve in defeating Goku Black
@@AmekiClips The Time Patrol thing is an oddity. Doesn't seem to be taking into consideration the Zamasu stuff at all last I checked. It at least was a good gimmick to explore with him (before his timeline got permanently BTFO **not sure why the Super Dragon Balls couldn't be used for that**).
This is where gohans story ends
Well, this is it, Mr Piccolo. But at least they still have Trunks. I trained him just like you wanted.
You know I’m not actually here right?
Ah… crapbaskets…
... down! Huh? Oh no....
It really is bizarre how they acted like it had to be this way (like him just accepting the loss of his arm **and nothing could be done even with tech**). Nothing stops Bulma from remembering Baba exists. Or Roshi mentioning it (even without bringing up Goku and/or King Kai contacting them **or anyone else through NLoL**). Through her, it should be easy to make contact with ol' Kaio. Find out where New Namek is.
Make some wishes, bring back Dende, make more wishes, etc. One day back from the dead can be called in for multiple heroes (lure the cyborgs to Baba's where it is sanctioned if nowhere else) where not otherwise able to involve them. Even just Goku warping them to Other World and dumping them into Hell would do the trick. This without learning ECW or having Spike land Devilmite Beam.
Just being told about RoSaT, drinking SKW, etc. would do wonders (before becoming cyborgs, making the controller or just being Mystic **lots of cheap strats out there**). Find out where Yardrat was (since we can't depend on Goku to teach anything) through KK, use a ship from Bulma, etc. DB has so many options. Casting aside AT getting rid of it, learning Kaio-Ken would let him pummel them into the dirty. Canon only really suggests SS unlock empowered Goku (and refreshed him). Future use was only shown to be just shy of x4 (not x50 as in magazines).
FPSS as a concept is making SS your new base. Even without Mystic, working KK at all on that would go a long way (much further than SS2 or rubbish like "SS3"). But frankly, it is overkill making these actual fighters into borgs (since the normal teens became this strong). That alone makes it a massacre (possibly all the way to the Buu himself). But why bother? Just call Arale. Trouble is, his father would have to tell him or they would have to think to ask Baba if there is anyone who can beat the borgs for them. Her detecting the android would do them a lot of good. Brief interaction would lead to figuring they need to tell her the baddies wanna wrassle. Suddenly they get a beat down (and Gohan can close the deal).
@@keiyousu7454 *Plays Murray Gold - Doomsday* Trunks finds Gohan’s lifeless corpse. Scenes of that fatal battle play as Trunks gets closer to the body.

3:03 why is this remind me of Bardock 😭
It warms my heart to see another future Gohan fan
out of all the dbz characters future gohan is always my goat ❤
I just realized the message Gohan left to Trunks, mirrored Bardock to Goku after Frieza blew up the planet.
Appreciate the English subtitle edit, looks good and helps differentiate the subs.
20+ years later and this still gets me
Back then in my place when DB was booming, not everyone had time to finish the manga and not every weekend could be spent in front of TV.
So I personally really appreciate her DB playthrough, she truly relive and complete a part of my childhood in those streams
Future Gohan, a heroic character we see struggle so much just so the world can see a better tomorrow but lacks the power to do so.
It makes us want him to have lived on.
It might've hit Pekora hard as well since at the Buu Saga start I think I remember her saying she watched him grow since he was little as if he was like her child.
future Gohan is an absolute warrior.
Damn even after seeing the actual trunks backstory i still tear up from it xd
When you realize future Gohan died the same way bardock did. Pose and everything
Some sad fact is that in Latin Spanish dub the VA for Future Gohan was killed on a shooting and now we can't unsee this last stand as the last moments of his VA
I should have stayed up late for this, but I had to go to sleep.
yep, this scene never seems to continue to kill me internally man
Future arc is my favourite arc of all time!
Also, theres a "continuation" of sorta in the Xenoverse games (forgot which one) where Xeno-Trunks (who is Future Trunks but from a different but almost similar timeline) went back into the past and tried to rescue Future Gohan. Its one of those rare moments in a DBZ game where I actually shed manly tears playing.
Thanks for translating these pekoclips. Good to see someone experience these for the first time
It literally never occurred to me that Future Gohan has only one arm and Gohan finishes the Cell fight with a broken arm. It's even the same arm! There's a parallel there I never even CONSIDERED!
This hurts. All I can think about is gohan and the position he is in, being the last bastion of Defense and the only defender remaining that can fight the Androids among the Z fighters at this moment. A fallen war hero fighting against fate and inevitable annihilation
it always makes me cry seeing gohan lying in the dirt like that, like he's just another piece of trash left by the andriods in the wake of their destruction......
its heartbreaking
that scene always hurts seeing trunks only find his strength AFTER gohan died, the rage, the anger, the sorrow, we all know that feeling and we all care about gohan.
thats why it feels so good when he comes back after the cell saga and makes them hurt like how they hurt so many others.
its catharsis by karma
Future Trunks arc is really dark. Usually Dragon Ball is a little more light and nonchalant about the character dying because there's always the dragon balls or some other way to resurrect them. But this arc is grim, omniscient, Bulma is alone with Trunks, everyone is dead apart from them, Chichi, her dad and some other humans. Gohan loses an arm and ends up dying later...
I remember watching and feeling like Android 17 & 18 were actual villains and not just the bad guys.
>feeling they were the main villains
And they were. Kondo just subbed them out (like 19 and 20 before them).
>really dark
More so in the anime telling, but yes.
>grim
Yet forced (too many ways out of it one is asked to just pretend they don't have access to or knowledge of). AT was doing his best.
I do like how grim it is....when I ignore like everything. Goku can still communicate with people who are alive. I doubt king kai would mind considering this threat is stronger than Frieza. And also they could've communicated with the Namekians to have them revive Piccolo and Vegeta. Them combined with Gohan could have trained and defeated the androids but we just gotta pretend all that isn't possible to maintain the feeling of helplessness
Goku resembles Bardock? Nah, Future Gohan resembles Bardock the most
She shan’t forgive them!
@powerbonger I don't blame her. Not one bit.
Future Gohan is my favourite gohan and the way he only thinked about trunks in his last moments was just so hart warming to me
Wonder how much sadder she'd be if she found out Gohan didn't even get the chance to fight back like this in the show, and the battle was completely one sided.
It was cut out on this clip. But the game actually forces you to play and fight both 17 and 18 while Gohan was disabled and could barely fight back... It was designed to make you lose whatever you do and it was really frustrating.
@@ccg2301 Yeah, I remember that bit from another TH-camr's playthrough.
It gave heavy Crisis Core ending vibes.
Worse still in canon (he gets Krillin'd **total off-panel jobbing to death**).

Waking up and seeing this feels like a gift. Thanks!
I hadn't seen this DLC before. The game took a bit of a different route with that kamehameha, and while I still prefer the original version this probably helped it to be more epic in this format.
And while the Super Saiyan Trunks scene was a bit lackluster it did the job
This DLC did Gohan's death so much justice. Way more than the Manga or the Anime. Can't wait to see how Sparking Zero handles it and potential What-ifs related to it
I think I first read this scene in like '96 or so and it still hits hard even all these year later.
In fact, I'd argue that this particular incarnation of the story, for all its flaws, pulls the scene off even better.
Pain peko 🐇
One of my favorite things about the dlc is when Gohan fires his masenko his Ki bar breaks. Really wish more finishers in the game did that.
Future Gohan was like my fav character. He went through a lot and seemed to be the type of older brother who you’d idolize. It was sad how he just died, never to appear again. If only Gohan ever had an attitude just like him.
It hurts even more when you play Xenoverse 2. You literally fight alongside Gohan in attacking 16 and Trunks comes in to save Gohan even though Chronoa/Kai of Time says no. After the mission is done there’s a cutscene where Trunks begs Gohan to let him come with. And Gohan just talks about how Trunks made a friend and secured the future, and that Trunks can’t abandon that. Then Gohan flies up (and your Character blocks Trunks), looks behind himself, and flies away.
It's a good scene, but it could have been better, if your character had spoken dialogue, or did more than just T-pose to assert dominance.
Makes me cry everytime
"Oh Crapbaskets."
This game had no business making us play as a weakened Gohan.
I already knew what happened to him. Why make me cry again?? 😢
This was really cool that they had Gohan do a Kamehameha as a last resort in this DLC
It still hurts as much as the first time I saw it
"That was close. He managed to beat them"
Oh Pekora, you sweet, sweet summer child.
This game gave justice to Future Gohan's last stand. He went out the best way he could
I love seeing those who haven't watched Dragon Ball up to this point reacting to emotional scenes in the animes or games, especially a game that focus on the original storyline like this 😢❤
Seeing another generation experience this with the same emotions... He changed us all...
I can't wait to see her playing Bardocks arc. I love DBZ arcs, future Trunks, Bardock, Brolly. If theres something i always loved about DBZ were the movies with different villains and more mature aura to the show.
The anime in general sought to add depth and maturity to the canon it was adapting (often enough succeeding). Movies just get to go a step further in how dark a tale they can tell Broly, Bardock and Trunks are the best examples of this, really).
Seeing how db super ended this timeline still pissed me off. Like it was all for nothing 😞 but damn it was still one of the best arc for db super
Nah that timeline will live on with Trunks and Mai as they live a hopefully happy life in whatever timeline they ended up in.
Also this was meant to be the original timeline, Gohan will dead in every timeline and only survive with that trunks help the canon timeline
With all things considered since the series continued after Buu his timeline was ultimately doomed anyway thanks to trunks being the only Z warrior left, he didn't have access to any of the overpowered tools the cast in the main timeline had and no sparring partners to help him train. Goku and co. were immensely privileged to have 2 sets of dragon balls available/hyperbolic time chamber and connections to the heavens and netherworld.

even tho Deaths in Dragon Ball are somewhat a joke(mostly) since there is a wishing dragon in the DB universe. But those deaths are dramatic and impactful.
Someone once argued this game had a bad telling of Trunks's future because it made Gohan more capable
And, sure, he does seem a bit more powerful, and mostly follows the anime special, but it also brings in the manga quote from 17 about the Androids only using half of their power. They took a direct hit from Gohan on purpose and still got up like it was nothing. Gohan was never making it through that. But he looked like a beast and never gave in. That's the real point, that he never gave up even up to the very end.
Anyway, it's great seeing Pekora's initial reaction to the story, lol
God
Toei animation fr carried dbz, the fact that in the manga trunks was already a super saiyan MONTHS before gohan died. And then him going super saiyan when he finds him was just meaningless, but in the anime, gohans death being the catalyst for trunks turning into a super saiyan is genuinely such better writing.
And thus the Revenge tour begins, gotta get back for our boy Gohan
Her model really isn't designed to be sad at all. Even when her voice wasn't happy her face was still :)
Nah, most of the time when she's emotional specially on sad scenes like this. She doesn't bother to toggle on her sad emotes to match the setting. Although, sometimes she would mute herself tho, coz she thinks the sound of bawling herself out isn't cute.
Yo, trunks seeing Gohans body and raging actually gave me chills...wow
Seeing this scene of future Gohan missing his left arm, giving his last Kamehameha alone and ultimately losing his life, juxtaposed with young Gohan unable to use his left arm giving on last Kamehameha and goku gives Gohan the strength to push forward with everything he's got against an opponent millions of times stronger than 17 and 18 brings a tear to my eyes
i legit cry everytime i see gohan like that
Freiza and the evil Androids all had that annoyingly smug but despair inducing line, "By the way this entire time I was barely using half of my full power." to the heroes.
When you realize the timeline where goku survive isn't the original timeline
Imagine her reaction to Dokkan’s STR Future Gohan’s “Happy Ending” active.
Imagine if only its finishes like lr str future gohan active skill from dokkan ...
Future Gohan deserved better...
Gohan died doing what he hated and that will never sit right with me
"I mean, what can you do with only one Arm?"
That.
He could do that with One Arm.
Not sure how to feel about the addition of the final beam struggle and Gohan's final thoughts... I really do think it lessen's the gravitas and the hopelessness of Future Gohan's death compared to the TV Special, where he was SO overpowered, the Androids just didn't leave him time for any of that.
Even Trunks's mental breakdown doesn't go as hard, you don't see him grabbing his own head trying to shake off the horror or clenching his fists down to the blood before awakening the Super Saiyan in him, nor do you see him smashing to ground with both fists right after.
One armed Mr. Gohan. I am still unsure why other DBZ games cannot do that
Most of them are made in Japan, and they have more stringent laws on what kinds of violence a video game can or cannot depict
Who wouldn’t with such a fire scene 🗣️🔥
Everytime I see this scene, I immediately go rewatch Trunks beating the shit out of the androids
Also Gohan's death here seems pretty similar to Bardock's death. This is so cool
You can now play as Luigi.
