Very heart touching story. I have one doubt if one start taking Gleevec then he or she may not get tumour again, but if you see the side effect of the medicine last longing you may develop diabetes, lung disease, heart disease, and many more so I am a bit sceptical about the tradeoff of this medicine. please advise.
Bed…..have you had any experience about the side effect. I am now in the hospital to remove GIST tumor on the cardia, DR. told me I will be taking medication after surgery for the next 3 years. I am always skeptical of most drugs treatment. Your comments here more skeptical.

Milos Sundek I just had surgery, clean boarders and lots of followup Cat Scans.
